Absolutely miserable - minimum cheap furnishing , linoleum and paper wall panels in the bathroom!! Their photos are not real (for the ground floor at least) Any hostel is better, I cannot imagine how they got the two stars hotel category. They are thieves, better sleep outside and give the money to charity I had no idea such places and people exist in Spain - it's such pitty, I have been traveling for 15 years and have not seen lower quality ones

We are currently staying here at the Romerito. We booked here as a budget hotel and knew it was away from malaga centro somewhat. When I read some of the reviews some people had said its near a industrial area. It's definitely not a industrial area but more like a residential area. We got a taxi from the airport which took 10-15 minutes and was €18 We were welcomed to the hotel entrance that was immaculately clean and we were given a prompt and efficient check in. Our rooms is a double bed and one single bed. The room is lovely and bright and perfectly clean. The room is cleaned daily with new towels. Note that there is no kettle or tea making facilities. But I knew this in advanced and brought a travel kettle. Having said this there is a cafe restaurant at the hotel that is very reasonable price and the drinks and food is good. Its open 7am-11pm. There is also a shop attached to the hotel with everything you will need. To get into malaga centro it takes a 20 minutes bus ride which you get directly outside of the hotel at a cost of €1.40 these buses run quite often. Overall if you are looking to do malaga on a budget I reccomend this hotel. It's a very traditional and pretty hotel with everything you need and helpful staff.

I booked a double directly through their website. This place is very beautiful. Not what I was expecting so I was pleasantly surprised. I only needed a room for 1 night since I was flying out of the Malaga Airport early in the morning. I stayed in room 106. If you book a room facing the main walkway/ street be mindful there is a club right outside the hostel and the party don't stop til the late in the morning. I left for my early morning flight at 5am and they were still open, music playing with people outside enjoying themselves. While the bed was comfortable, it was impossible to sleep. I did inform the nice gentleman at the front desk about the noise and he sympathize but honestly they can't do anything about it except warn guest, offer ear plugs and work on getting better insulation specifically for that side of the building. And for this reason only, I probably won't rebook here again.

It is a good stay for a solo trip. The location is perfect, close to travel destinations, and the room is spacious, very clean, and bright. There is a bakery on the ground floor where the bread is tasty, but the swimming was not open in April during my stay, anyway I am very satisfied with this booking.

Stayed for one night before an early flight. The hotel is located in a fairly industrialised area a short taxi ride away from the airport. Check-in was a little slow as the receptionist was also looking after the busy bar, but otherwise the stay was very good. The room was clean, Moden, well sized with an excellent shower and good comfortable bed. Good Wifi, good air-con. Would stay overnight again if flying from Malaga.

From a travel point of view this alternative lifestyle hostel/Capsule hotel is a refreshing change from the norm . I have stayed several times mainly because I love Málaga and the Malagueta Playa is so convenient for many attractions ~ Muelle Uno and the Port,restaurants and bars and 15 minutes walk to the fabulous Alcazaba, Teatro Romana Amphitheatre and Gibralfaro Mirador entrance and the Historic Quarter. I enjoy most of the facilities of Futurotel and am Hugely impressed at the Hard Work of the ' Small' staff team of dedicated people Recently I heard that 3 staff members were summarily dismissed by the Cash oriented conscienceless Owners/ Management . I understand the Reception team have joined the Union to support their very clear case for Employees terms and conditions and fare pay. I wish them every success because it's the Reception/Housekeeping team that makes the Futurotel a success. I URGE any Clients/Guests to consider this and Question the Punitive activities of the owner against this hard working Hotel Family. I had a sea view room, but my balcony didn't get a complete view. The view is better from the infinity pool.
I had dinner at the hotel. €18 is not bad for the amount and variety of food. The food was good, tasty.
The room was average. Clean linen. The pillows are long and wasn't the most comfortable. There was just one pillow so no other pillow to exchange.
There was a kettle and tea. There was no coffee.
The airvent in the bathroom is either not working or not doing a good job.
My balcony mostly overlooked the pool. I was satisfied with the view.
The gym is not so big and extremely stuffy. The aircon is not working.
The spa was nice. Late afternoon were a good mix of guys. The spa is only open for 4 hours. I wish the spa was open later.
You need to walk a few steps down to the beach. There is another property in front of the hotel before you get to the beach.
The hotel is walking to a lot of bars, restaurants and clubs. The station is close by.
The infinity nude pool is a nice feature.
Both swimming pools are fairly cold. During my stay the water was a bit cold, the water is not heated. It was October.

PPengguna TetamuOne of my best accommodation experiences so far! Outstanding location, the most professional staff, great rooftop together with bar, chill area and a swimming pool. Room was very clean and modern. Breakfasts varied, fresh and very tasty, served until noon. We felt great there, greeted not only by outstanding receptionists, but also cleaning service or people serving the breakfast. Our point of contact was usually Javier and he made us feel very welcomed- extremely professional, nice and well mannered person! In case I will come back to Malaga- I will definitely choose Room Mate Valeria.

PPengguna TetamuThe service at this hotel was outstanding, I was really made to feel special. The building is beautiful, especially the marble staircase and terrace overlooking the sea. My room was very tastefully and luxuriously decorated, it didn’t have a view, but the price was commensurate for that. Overall the hotel gives an experience of mid tier luxury (not very very top level ala Bulgari hotel, but definitely premium).
My biggest complaint is with regards to the gym and spa. The gym is ok, if small, has a squat rack which is great. But there is no locker room or changing area next to it! Any other five star hotel I’ve been to would have a luxurious locker room with a sauna and hot tub etc. Here there wasn’t even a place to change! I had to go back to my room and change into my gym gear the first time I went.
Then there is the ‘spa’. Some hot tubs, relaxation areas and a sauna. Very nice, but a €25 EXTRA for guests!! What kind of a luxury hotel charges extra for use of the sauna?!
Aside from this, I very much enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay here again.

Ottenuta la sostituzione del codice in diretta con uno che apriva la porta tutto è andato per il meglio. Letti comodi, shampoo e bagnoschiuma nei dispencer della doccia, ampia e pulitissima. Acqua calda senza limiti. Macchina per espresso con cialde Lavazza a disposizione. A 5 minuti a piedi dalle stazioni di bus e treni e a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro

PPengguna TetamuOur first visit to Malaga and visited this hotel on a recommendation which proved to be justified. The hotel itself has rooms on the one floor and the room we had was at the end of a corridor overlooking a side street so very quiet. The room was very clean as was the bathroom which had a walk in shower that provided powerful warm water. Toiletries were also provided and continually replaced over the week. The bed was also large and comfortable. All in all excellent value for money. A large mini market is attached to the hotel and although we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel there was a cheap cafe across the road. For me the location was the icing on the cake as it was a short walk to the train platform and only 10 to 15 minutes walk to either the port or the old town. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Malaga

PPengguna TetamuSpent 4 nights here and were very pleased with the hotel. It’s a short walk to the train station, the old town and the shopping centre. We had a late flight and when I contacted the hotel, there was no problem with a late check-in. Room had a king size double bed, bed settee and kitchenette. The fridge contained complimentary water and there was a tea and coffee making facility. Bathroom was excellent; both a bath and a huge walk-in shower. Separate toilet, which is very useful. Despite the hotel being right in the town, soundproofing was excellent m, so we were not disturbed, despite the Holy Week processions. My only gripe is there were lots of shelves, but only one drawer. I don’t like my undies being on display, so removed the hair drier from the drawer so that husband and I could share the space. Also only 3 hangers and no hooks for coats etc. Please supply more hangers!!!!! We didn’t eat in the hotel, as there are so many places nearby. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. Would definitely return.

JJust OlyaThe hotel is located just 100dyers away from the airport but if you are with luggage, you will have to take a taxi that will cost you anywhere between 15 and 20 euro. If it’s Saturday evening you will pay 20. In fact, it’s the most expensive taxi in the world, as we paid 20 euro for a dive of 1000 meters, and that’s with official taxi ! Completely rip off so if you can, just avoid staying at the airport hotel.
Regarding this hotel, it’s of very poor quality. They claim that windows are sound proof but it’s not the case. The hotel is located between two very busy highways, so the noise is like you are siting on the side of a highway.
The beds are very uncomfortable and pillows are impossible to sleep, the management Shiism try to sleep on this pillow one night and treat a neck pain next morning.
The room is very hot and air is dry ( even if you try to control he temperature in the room ) it doesn’t se to work and you can not open the window for fresh air because of the enormous noise that comes from highway. So either bring the earplugs with you and ask the opposite side ( not facing the highway)
The only positive point: the rooms are quite spacious and the shower is ok too ( even though it just has a curtain instead of normal door you would expect in the shower)
Would not recommend staying there, and for the price of 20 euros for taxi you are better off staying at a better hotel closer to Malaga, with more comfort.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is pretty good, modern, clean, with good rooms and an excellent restaurant. I chose it because it also has a swimming pool on the roof top, that is in practice very small and not particularly comfortable. But the hotel is in the industrial area of Malaga (poligono industrial) and easy to reach from the airport but, unexpectedly, the area around it is dirty and really unpleasant. There is nothing in the surroundings, no possibility to take a walk, really bad. It is therefore only good if you have to stay one night and not more. It's a pity that the municipality of Malaga does not do anything to clean and maintain this area in a better way.

PPengguna TetamuReally enjoyed the vibe to this hostel. Staff were good and helpful, 2.50 breakfast was a bonus before going off for the day. The hostel is in a great destination, Bang in the city centre, it's great if you don't fancy going clubbing but like listening to music all night as your room is wedged between bars . All people seem friendly and down to earth even the stereotypical jesus look alike hostel dossers The rooms were spacious but it's like a knocking shop with the amount of people who come and go Your not allocated a bed you just get On one that is made up. The beds were comfy although when your on the top bunk the beds wobble and after a few jars 🍻 it's like your on a boat. The showers were a bit of a sh*t hole there was mould and no where to hang my clothes so they had to hang on the door knob to avoid going in the pool of water on the floor . Taps hanging off sinks, floor tiles missing, damp on roof but That's only a minor issue. Proper hostel, like the place and for the price I got it it was a bargain. Will return again. Great experience

La habitación Estaba bien, no es un hotel, pero a mi ya me estaba bien para lo que buscaba..el baño perfecto y la habitacion tambien. Hemos dormido bien.
