Oblu Nature Helengeli-All-Inclusive with Free Transfers

We stayed at Oblu Helengeli for 8 nights, and what an incredible stay it was! We had the absolute best time. To all the fellow vegans, this resort is the one! It caters for all dietary requirements including vegans. The chefs were absolutely amazing, the food was incredible and the chefs are so talented. All the chefs were incredible, but a special mention to the following chefs; BINOD - made the best pancakes and very delicious pasta and is one of the loveliest people I have ever met!! He is one of the first chefs to understand our dietary requirements and from then onwards he really looked after us. Such a lovely genuine person and it was sad to say goodbye to him. JAMES - making us amazing sushi and tofu tempura! Was so delicious RAHUL KUSHWHA - The pastry chef who made the most legenedary desserts, he is so talented! He made us brownies, caramel desert, crème brule, vanilla sponge, sesame caramel balls and the most legendary birthday cake for my partner, the best cake I have ever eaten!!! SAMSUL - first greeted us in the restaurant and made sure to notify the chefs of our dietary requirements and ensure we were looked after which was so lovely. MOHIT - cooked us food in the just grill restaurant which was delicious! Also, I didn’t get his name but the chef who is in charge of cooking the Indian food such as curry’s, and amazing ones at that. He is generally one of the happiest people I have ever met and so polite. I loved his spirit! If you are vegan, please don’t hesitate to come to this resort, as me and my partner ate the most amazing food! All the chefs were so polite and welcoming and so accommodating. Thankyou to all of you. We stayed in a water villa, which was such a beautiful room, the pool was so lovely to cool off after being out in the sun! It’s a nice sized pool and the room as a whole was beautiful. We were allocated the same housekeeping person throughout our whole stay. We had ANURAG and I can honestly say, one of the nicest people I have met, such a lovely man. He did a great job at looking after us and always had a smile on his face greeting us when he saw us. On my partners birthday, he decorated the room with balloons and did an amazing towel decoration on the bed. It was so special so thankyou. Anurag did us a beautiful towel decorations every single day and he took so much pride and care in making it perfect. He is so talented, I asked him how he learned to do it and he said he learned from YouTube, how incredible is that! We appreciated him so much and we were so glad we had him as our house keeper! RISHFAN was the housekeeping supervisor who I could message when we needed something. He was very accommodating and helpful. Our toilet had an issue with the pipes and he ensured to be on the case straight away. He also gave us champagne and a beach bag to say sorry which was lovely even though we didn’t expect it. I didn’t get all the names of the waiters in Spice but I can say they were all very polite and

We visited Helengeli keen to explore all the reef had to offer - we were not disappointed. The coral is showing great signs of life and the quantity of fish and sea life was stunning. Turtles, rays, sharks and octopus were some of our favourite sights. Our stay in the island surpassed our expectations. The rooms and main restaurant were fantastic - from the indoor outdoor bathroom to the choice and quality of the buffet. The staff work hard to make your stay flawless - ground staff raking the beaches and pathways, concierge anticipating your requests, restaurant and bar staff offering a personalised service and housekeeping maintaining a luxury feel in the rooms. A special mention to Bagus, Sameer and Thiha, Nash, Anjalie, Wita, Shubum and Anni, Saif - life guard with excellent knowledge of the wildlife and Ilonia - concierge who made our holiday feel bespoke. Laltu our housekeeper made a daily effort to make us smile and kept our room beautiful. We left the island with some fantastic memories and a feeling we had made some friends too. Our only negative was the transfers to and from the airport - we had a long wait for collection and a long wait at the airport on return.

The most beautiful stay I ever had till date.lovely Staff with such welcoming and greetings throughout the day!! The staff was so friendly, attentive and amazing all the time especially thanks to Rushi for making our room more memorable. The Pool villa was so beautiful and u can see the best sunset view from ur room. The quality and variety of food was excellent. Maldives ara beautifull! The house reef is specially wonderfull here, excellent place for snorkelling. Our room was taken care by AZIZ , he is kind, helpfull and makes your day better, always smiling, and the room decoration took away our breath! The food and the programs are also excellent.

Stunning island resort with amazing staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Lots of fun activities, delicious food and great atmosphere overall. Even on the rain days, the resort was still enjoyable. Our host Vaishnavi Jaiswal was superb and was always there to help us with anything we needed. Highly recommend.

We were looking forward for this vacation of 9 days at Helengeli island. Upon arrival to Male International airport we were greeted by Helengeli personel who guided us to local "pizza" bar, which was at least air conditioned. Upon waiting around 30 minutes we were taken to a local jetty where we waited around 1 hour (!) without any water nor air cooling. That was simply because we had to wait for other passengers from a late arriving plane. Speedboat transfer is quite convenient and fast - just an hour. On the boat there's WiFi and refreshing water! Upon arrival to the island we were greeted by front desk personell and explained in short where and what is located on the island. We were staying at Sunset Water Villa and the Villa itself was very nice. Everything was clean and even decorated daily. As we were staying for 9 nights we had two restaurants included. The Grill & Raga Route. Every other evening/lunch is served in a buffet style restaurant called The Spice. Food was with great variety and something for everyone, could not complain about quality. The Grill is a complimentary upon staying at least 3(?) nights and the menu is fantastic, at least for us Europeans. Unfortunately the service was not the best and we were left quite "alone" for some time. Raga Route on the other hand was brilliant in terms of service. There we met a wonderful lady who took great care of us. *I will add all fantastic people on the bottom of the review. Very questionable is having only one bar on the whole island, keep in mind that island is not small. Never have seen something like that when I was staying in other resorts on Maldives. Reef itself around the island is, I would say around 85% dead unfortunately. But that is sad reality, but still managed to see some turtles and sharks, even a Murena showed itself between the rocks. Overall we left satisfied with the vacation despite aforementioned "should be better". Persons who took so much loving care of us were: Restaurant Team: Chinmoy - Great guy, every day when we saw him did something extra. Brilliant and very caring person who made our vacation better, just with his helpfulness and great sense of humour! Anni - The lady who we met at Raga Route! Young, talented and very caring! Nash - Greeted us everyday at The Spice with a wide smile and a small, yet effective compliment! Ahsan - Brilliant chef at Indian corner. Even though we are not very fond of Indian food, he made some magic! Even took extra care with his suggestions about dry hair, as the hot sun is drying it our super quickly. Bar Team: Dulan - Man like orchestra! He was all over the place with the greatest care and humour, conversations and of course smile. This guy knows exactly what the guest needs and goes an extra mile to make guest feel special! Rasheed - Simply excellent. Absolutely everything about this place is beautifully. The staff work as one team to meet your comfort through your stay. No one person during our stay in this place was rude, or no friendly at any time. The staff make this place feels safe, like home, relax, and want to go back as soon as possible. Keep the wonderful work up team at Oblu Nature. Because you make the customers feel safe, and therefore, you are number one!

Overall a good stay. Reef is very good. Limited drinks on all inclusive and wine undrinkable. Food was plentiful and very good. Spa area and treatment were very good. Water villa is looking a little tited and in need of some TLC, for example the window leaks when it rains, tiles missing on the pool. Room cleaning was hit and miss, had to ask for water on more than one occasion as running out. The island is very eco friendly with its own desalination plant for water which is excellent. Staff friendly and welcoming.

We had good experience at this resort. Food is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful.
