Unima Grand Maldives – Very Disappointing Stay Cleanliness was acceptable, but that is the only positive point I can mention. Breakfast selection was poor and unimpressive. The service was absolutely terrible. On the very first day, my friend and I experienced racist discrimination and were treated with complete disrespect, especially by a staff member named Osama, who openly made fun of me. This kind of behavior is disgraceful and should never happen in hospitality. When I raised the issue with the manager, instead of handling it professionally, his attitude was equally rough and dismissive. Although there was a slight improvement afterward, the overall service remained far below standard. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I will never return to this hotel. I also cannot recommend it to others.

First of all they didn’t arrange anyone to pick us from airport and we had to go by ourselves and carry 4 luggage with a small kid ! And they said it’s trip’s app problem! Room very small and view to the another building’s window. Room had no slippers , soap , shampoo and other necessities, called them 4 times and asked , they said ok we will come and check but finally they didn’t until we checked out ! Price not match with the hotel’s quality Breakfast was ok restaurant’s food was great

The location is great, very close to the Oevaali Art Shop (a manta ray necklace shop). The Mexican pub downstairs is especially delicious; I recommend Coco ice cream – you won't be disappointed! There are also many supermarkets nearby, making shopping very convenient!

The room was okay, the service was average, and the price was reasonable. However, it's close to a mosque where prayers are held in the morning.

The hotel is at the level of a two-star domestic hotel, the location is OK, but don't expect anything else. I usually bring my own sheets when I go out, but I slept in my clothes in this hotel.

The hotel is pretty good in the area. It is next to the local cathedral, and you can hear the chanting at 5pm, 10:30pm, 5am, etc., and feel the local culture, which is a unique experience. You can sit in the lobby, but the room is cramped, and it cannot be compared with the resort island hotel or domestic hotels of the same level. The island has limited resources. The room cleaning is good. The front desk service is dedicated and responsible. Free airport pick-up and drop-off. Telephone communication is more laborious, and you should be mentally prepared for Indian English

Very good service attitude

I can only say that it is a good transit hotel in Male, very clean, with relatively complete facilities, breakfast with sea view, dark room, good for sleeping, don't expect anything else. The hotel is in a good location opposite the Blue Mosque, very convenient for changing money and eating, breakfast coffee is very good and recommended to try. Paid extension is available, 10 US dollars per hour after 14:00, if the flight is late, you can lie down for a while in the hotel.

The hotel lobby is warm and cool, and the elevator is fast and clean. The hotel is not too new but it is very clean everywhere, and the facilities are easy to use. The room is not big but bright. The balcony can see the busy Male Airport, as well as various speedboats and ferries coming and going. The bedding is very clean, and the quilt is not thick, just right. There are conditioners, electric kettles, and everything you need. The ladies and brothers at the front desk, the dining room, and the luggage delivery are all gentle and lovely. Especially the manager who picked us up at the airport was punctual and enthusiastic, which made people feel at ease.

Very good hotel, we spent the night and continued our journey the next day.

Before the trip, I saw that there were serious problems with transit hotels in Male, and many people fell into traps, so I paid special attention to the choice. Wu** Hotel is not far from the airport, and it takes 7 US dollars to get there by taxi (you can contact the hotel in advance for free airport pick-up). The hotel is quiet and hygienic, and there is no obvious odor (you will know what this odor is when you arrive in Male ~ unbearable "fragrance"). The service attitude is very good! ! ! When we left the next morning, the hotel helped to call a car and paid the fare! (We took a taxi there ourselves when we went there). In short, it is recommended to choose as a transit hotel

Overall it's pretty good

I only had 5 hours of sleep and then transferred to the seaplane. It was very convenient to be picked up and dropped off by a hotel car to and from the airport. When I left the airport, there were employees holding hotel nameplates. Don't have too high other expectations, at least the bed and toilet are clean.
