We loved 6 Senses Fiji, upscale accommodations, modern rooms w Fijian style, modern , private separate bathroom with modern toilet (modern Japanese style toilet with bidet). A/C worked very well and the oceanfront room was spacious, private, with section of beach reserved for the specific room. We did not have any problems with their filtered water for consumption. Wati, our GEM (attendant assigned to us) was superb, attentive, always accessible, prompt with any questions, making dinner reservations, requests that we had. Sala was excellent for our housekeeping, room kept clean including from the sand of the beach in our room. The entire staff was very good, Fijian hospitality, smiling, very friendly and sweet. I could probably list the entire staff, but those that we met and were noteworthy were Wati, Clyde, Emi, Kira, Tiko, the diving activity lady, the ice cream lady, and I could keep going. Great job by 6 Senses people, we were really happy that we chose this resort.

Funky fish is the perfect place if you sre in Fiji for surfing, diving, or just relaxing, and you are on budget. The staff is simply awesome, so familiar, and you get to experience the local vibes, which are more difficult to experience if you are in a big resort. The pool area is perfect to relax and the meals are great. The beachfront bures are simple but enough for sleeping and taking a shower. Beds are big and comfy.

We booked very last minute and the communication with Tropica was easy and stress-free. We arrived to a musical welcome and were treated with kindness at every moment of our stay. The staff were all lovely and always noticed when we had been away on daytrips, greeting us upon our return. The food was lovely, particularly the traditional meal served on Wednesdays. All-round, the cleanliness of the room, the cooling air-con, the pool and the watersports available for free made this a thoroughly enjoyable 4-day retreat. Would recommend to all who are looking for a quiet and serene escape. (We were given a free foot soak too at the spa and splashed out on a few more treatments too which did not disappoint!)
