Crowne Plaza Constanta - Mamaia Beach

The hotel is new, having been opened in July 2024, with all facilities new and very well functioning. Great, polite and solution oriented staff everywhere - reception, restaurant, spa. We enjoyed the stay, the room was large and comfortable. Location is on the beach. Indoor pool was clean with warm water. Totally recommend the place for what it offers and for teh staff!

A very warm welcome and great service throughout my stay. The rooms are very comfortable and well designed with large balconies. The evening meal was excellent with great service and delicious food. There was a bit of an issue with the room being too hot and not being able to turn it down, even when turning it off completely.

If you’re a foreign travelers, don’t stay at this property. Their definition of service is nowhere near the basic level of service you’d expect from any other IHG property. Should anything go wrong during your stay, like it did for us, you’ll be out of luck if you ask them to make you whole. You’ll get lots of excuses and a smile. That’s about it. I recommend staying next door at Hotel Opera. They’ve been in business for some time and understand the international definition of customer service.

First of all, I was impressed by the services at this hotel. They promptly replied to my pre-arrival email and that I was welcomed with a genuine hospitable attitude. Irina and Daria from the reception were very willing to help and to accommodate any request. The bellboys helped us to find parking for the car, the room maids cleaned the room spotless, the waiters helped me to open a bottle of wine, all staff was very nice during the stay. A special mention to the blonde lady at the spa who was exceptionally kind to us: she offered to give us a softer towel for the child, invited us to taste the home made lemonade and offered to keep the float at the pool until the next day. The rooms are very modern, high-tech, spacious and well equipped. The balcony was also large and comfortable and we could enjoy the unobstructed sea view. We appreciated the inside pool as well, which is a great advantage if the weather is not nice. The hotel has also direct access to the beach, so you can easily move from the inside or outside pool to the sea side very easily.

Excellent brand-new IHG hotel on the Mamaia ***** adjacent to the Black Sea. Easy access from Bucharest, 2,5 hours drive by car. Rooms are well designed with futuristic light switches, good working AC and blackout curtains and shutters. We visited 2 weeks after the opening and the stay was faultless. Fantastic indoor and outdoor pools, separate Spa which we did not use. Although it is a relatively small hotel, ample staff and friendly in the restaurant. Simple, but efficient breakfast. Well presented and tasty food options. Only downside, Loft nightclub is next to the hotel and the beats vibrate onto the 7th floor. It luckily ends at midnight. Would still go back again!

Great location, right next to the best beach clubs and restaurants in Mamaia, rooms are nice with good views, had all the needed necessities and if you need some extra things the stuff at the front desk are always helpful. Special thanks to Irina, she gave me some really good tips in regards to the Constanta nightlife and the good restaurants.
