The staff here was very friendly. Melissa from the front desk was so helpful to us the entire time, providing suggestions and calling shuttles for us. The room was spacious and provided us with a great view of the trees nearby. The AC was very powerful, which is good when you've been outside all day.

This hotel is quite dated and it was disappointing to see that the hotel wanted to charge guests for water in the room. Also, the sink and bathroom in the room were not properly maintained. However, the breakfast was good.

Hotel is beautiful, spacious, convenient, and clean. I arrived two hours before check-in due to other scheduling needs. Every other hotel, if I arrive early, the room is either ready and I can have it right away, OR the room is not ready and the hotel asks me to come back at check in time. I cheerfully go along with whatever the hotel needs. THIS hotel was different. My room was ready, two hours before check in. Hotel said I could have my room right away, for an additional $33 fee. What? I know it's prior to check in and I am not entitled to have the room early. But if the room IS cleaned and ready, EVERY OTHER hotel lets me have it. No other hotel tried to charge a fee when there is nothing else to be done to get the room ready. I was really disappointed at InterContinental's attempt to wring a few extra bucks from me. The hotel was within its rights, but NO OTHER HOTEL has ever tried to gouge me like this.

everything good but noise of poolside wedding party is too.huge.that disturbed all tenants. can you put a little control to the volume. it makes the hotel like disco and inside the room and dining facilities and in lobby we are hear the beats from the pool!!

Literally just crossing the street from/to the airport, perfect for early flights or late arrivals. Rooms are like small cabins, clean and tidy. Nice setup with two pools. The hotel facilities are Nicaragua style and so is the breakfast - good traditional breakfast, but don't expect a western breakfast.
