I booked a LARGE room but was “upgraded” to a villa that was far from an upgrade. The villa was in poor condition: there were flying ants and red ants in both the bathroom and bedroom, dirty bedsheets, a blood-stained mattress, broken lights hanging from the wall, a cracked washbasin, and a broken shampoo dispenser. After I complained (no apologies from desk staffs at all) the hotel agreed to move me the second night, but instead of returning me to the large room I originally booked, they put me in a STANDARD room above the restaurant. They insisted it was a large room, but the constant noise from the fan made it impossible to sleep. On top of this, the chefs at the omelette station were unfriendly and seemed uninterested in their work. The food was repetitive, fish not as fresh. There are certainty good sides: the indoor pool was heated during our stay, albeit not as warm as we would have liked. The WiFi coverage was great throughout the hotel. The hotel agreed for a free late checkout upon request. Overall, my stay was stressful and disappointing. Would not return and would not recommend.
