Cleanliness: Acceptable. I didn't find any major hygiene issues.
Environment: The air circulation in the room was poor. Windows could be opened, but only slightly, though it wasn't stifling. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and close to attractions like Wenshu Monastery, Qingyang Palace, and Chunxi Road.
Service: I appreciate that they upgraded my room when I checked in. There were welcome fruits and snacks, but the drinks in the minibar and tea bags were all chargeable. The Chinese restaurant offers Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine, which was average in taste but not expensive. Overall, there wasn't much in terms of service, but considering the low price, it's not fair to compare it to the service standards of high-end five-star chains.

I stayed at this hotel around the same time last year. The location is excellent, no doubt about that. I remember my first stay wasn't great because during peak hours, the elevators were completely inadequate; I often had to wait several minutes for one. This year, I stayed again, and the elevator issue has been resolved – the front desk told me they installed new ones. And as always, the service was wonderfully warm. As soon as I got out of the car, staff greeted me and helped with my luggage to the front desk for check-in. The front desk's smiling service also deserves high praise, and even when I ran into staff in the elevator, they would immediately smile and greet me. Cons: We did not seem to be able to adjust the aircon temperature to our desired level and had to resort to opening the curtains and windows fully at times. Sometimes, the food delivery driver is not able to use the robot so we had to collect it downstairs ourselves.

Our stay at JW Marriott was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The doorman greeted us warmly, remembered my surname, and personally delivered our luggage to our room. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service from Meria, the guest relations manager. She was like our personal concierge , helping to deliver my parcels from the concierge to our room, assisting us with getting prescription medicine late at mid of night, and even sending thoughtful gifts like fresh fruit and panda bookmarks.
Every detail reflected genuine care and professionalism. Staying here with my parents was an absolute joy , the comfort, warmth, and attentiveness made us feel completely at home.

Beijing Xinqiao Hotel was such a perfect start to our first trip to China! The front desk staff was helpful and attentive. The room was great, with such a cool city view!! The bed was super comfortable. Please note: there is no heating in the rooms, but they do provide warm blankets! We really appreciated all of the room amenities (especially the great smelling shampoo and conditioner!) but especially liked the bottles of water. After long days of walking it was nice to have them in the room. The hotel is bustling with tourists and the lobby is usually busy, but our room was quiet! Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious - but be warned going around 9 AM you may need to be patient to wait for a table.
I received packages while there and the concierge assisted with that as well.

Seriously, the moment I walked in, the front desk lady's smile just warmed my heart! She immediately told us we could get a free room upgrade – talk about good luck, it cut my travel fatigue in half! Tip: staying in this hotel, just order take out and enjoy the food in your hotel room without the long queue. My only issue was with the front desk and using the robot to delivery our food. Front desk was slightly unresponsive and they will only send the food we ordered up to the room when we called, if not our food will be left at the front desk. I brought my son, a military enthusiast, to this hotel to watch the parade. After extensive research, I chose this hotel over the Park Hyatt, specifically booking a room with a view of Chang'an Avenue. My research had indicated that rooms with a good, unobstructed view of Chang'an Avenue are limited, so arriving early was recommended. We got to the hotel a little after 10 AM and naturally had to wait for the previous night's guests to check out before we could check in.
I particularly want to commend the service:
1. During our stay, middle schools in Beijing were conducting online classes from home. When we arrived, my son was in the middle of an online class. The staff quickly arranged a quiet room for him to continue his class and promised to hold a room for us. We finally checked in at 2 PM, and true to their word, the room they reserved had an excellent view, allowing us to watch the entire parade comfortably from our room.
2. The bellhop was incredibly diligent; seeing I had a lot of luggage, he proactively helped me with everything. His service attitude was excellent throughout, and we even received a small welcome gift upon check-in.
While the hotel's facilities aren't brand new, they are impeccably clean. The hotel's price was very reasonable, and there are also countless great restaurants and attractions nearby. Overall, it's a fantastic value-for-money hotel that I would highly recommend to any friends visiting Beijing.

This is the perfect hotel for you to rest up when exploring the city, it’s nothing fancy but then again you get what you pay for, some rooms are quite small with no windows but then again it’s very likely that you won’t be spending much time in a hotel room instead of exploring the city.
Now locating the hotel can be a bit difficult but there’s lots of famous clubs around, so you can enter one of the clubs name and ask any guards you might find by the gate and they’ll gladly help you.

We arrived very late at night to check in. The staff welcomed us and gave us a free upgrade. The room was beautiful. Very roomy, good facilities and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in.

I had an excellent stay at Blossom House Shanghai On The Bund. The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the Bund and close to transportation, restaurants, and shops. It made exploring Shanghai incredibly convenient.
The rooms were beautifully designed, comfortable, and spotless. You can tell the hotel pays attention to detail, and it really elevated the overall experience. I had a room with terrace which i enjoyed very much. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety to start the day right.
What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. They were always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was offering local tips or helping with small requests.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai. Great location, great rooms, great food, and fantastic service. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was okay, I would not book here again. It is definitely in a good spot right downstairs is Nanjing road so you have alot of shopping and food halls right outside your room.
Staff is super friendly and very helpful especially the cleaning staff. Made sure we got water atleast once a day and would ask us if we need new towels if they saw us.
Depending on where they put you, you may end up having to take a pretty far walk to your hotel room.
You’ll need to take an elevator up to the main lobby and depending on the room you will need to take another elevator up. But if you are on an floor higher then 6 be prepared to hike to your room most inconvenient part of the stay to be honest.
The room also has an AC, Heater option you can set which is very handy and a window that can open partially.
The room was overall nice and clean but the compliments stop there, as the room is way to dim especially the bathroom cant really see much in there and it is also very tiny you can barely move in there. You literally cannot close the door if you’re standing at the sink or sitting on the toilet.
The shower drain also has a bad smell like sewer pipes that come up when youre using the shower and it takes awhile for it to go away. The shower pressure was okay until my 3rd day there and when I showered the water pressure was non existent and limp even tho the water is being poured on my body the pressure was so low it didnt even feel like anything was hitting me. At one point the pressure dropped to 0 and it was trickling out the shower head. The next morning though it was back to normal so not sure what happened. The shower area also floods the bathrooms as we had 3 rooms and all rooms had some form of flooding post shower. And 1 was really bad. Which we complained about and they gave us another room.
They also had a laundry room with 3 small washers and 3 small dryers not ment for bulk washing, and also free detergent. The washer was good but the dryer… unless you are ready to hang dry your clothes do not wash your clothes here as we ran the clothes in the dryer for 2-3 hrs and the clothes were still damp. And when we asked the staff they told us the dryer only dries enough for it to stay damp and you will need to air dry the rest which is ridiculous. Why have a dryer when it doesn’t do what it’s meant to do? Make it make sense.
Overall besides location and friendly staff there is definitely better locations to choose from. I would not stay here again.DariMYR 396

The house is being renovated, so for the weekend, I decided to stay overnight as a local resident of Shanghai. During the two years of the pandemic, I also took my child to many iconic local hotels to experience them. For those visiting Shanghai, there is a stand-up comedy show nearby that is definitely worth checking out. The dining options are plentiful, and you can easily reach Siji Minfu within walking distance. The North Bund City Terrace and the Waibaidu Bridge are also within walking distance. Today is my last day at The Westin Bund Center Shanghai. At first, I loved the hotel, but unfortunately, the experience has slowly deteriorated.
Before arrival, I had tried emailing ************************* to make a small request to celebrate an anniversary, but the email failed to deliver with an error saying the recipient’s server didn’t recognize certain characters. I’m not sure why, as the email was in English and sent from my phone.
At check-in, I mentioned this to the receptionist (his name started with “C”), who was very polite and spoke to the lady behind him, asking her to reach out to Angela to assist. He then told me to head to my room and assured me I would be contacted. I waited for an hour in the room with no update, so I went out hoping to find a message upon my return, but sadly, there was still nothing.
The email issue could have been my fault, and that is fine. But what is unacceptable is being promised a follow-up for such a special occasion and then never receiving it. For a hotel of this standard, I expected better communication and service consistency.
Later, my son lost part of his toy, which led me to start searching around the room. While doing so, I discovered dust under every cabinet. Worse, I found what looked like someone else’s cream bottle stuck between the bed and the dresser. This makes me believe that the bottom part of the bed sheet was not changed, as housekeeping would almost certainly have noticed such an item if the bed had been properly stripped and remade.
I have stayed in many Marriott properties, and this is the first time I would give only 2–3 stars. :(DariMYR 593

Metropolo Nanjing Hotel is literally just next to East Nanjing Road shopping area with super convenient location. Shanghai Metro entrance is just within 3 minutes walk to the hotel although if you have large luggage, you need to exit through the exit at the other end as there is only elevator access at the far end which takes ~10 minutes to walk with luggage.
The location is good as a base to explore Shanghai as it is very centrally located.
The hotel is somewhat aged as it was opened earlier last century. The lobby is not huge but has nice “retro” decorations (first time see a gramophone).
Room is not huge but quite comfy and very clean, again with a touch of retro design. Basic amenities are available and can ask for extra from front desk staff if run out. Bottles of mineral water are placed near the lifts for guests to pick up on way to go out to enjoy sightseeing around Shanghai.

The location is unbeatable. Food, drinks, and entertainment are right downstairs, and it's just out of Exit 3 of Jing'an Temple Metro Station. Luxury stores on Nanjing West Road are only a couple of stops away, and Yuyuan Road offers a quaint, old Shanghai vibe with its plane trees and charming old houses. The hotel itself is nestled between two streets, avoiding the crowds but still capturing the essence of old Shanghai. The residential building in front of it is even the apartment where Eileen Chang wrote 'Love in a Fallen City.' The service is excellent, from the doormen and front desk staff to the housekeeping aunties and restaurant chefs. The breakfast isn't extensive, but it has all the essentials, and it's all healthy food. If you prefer a Western breakfast, they offer more cheese and ham than most hotels. The moment the car leaves the bustling old town of Songjiang and winds its way up the mountain road into a forested area, a glass curtain wall 'embedded' in the cliff face suddenly comes into view – that's the InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland, more affectionately known as the 'Shimao Quarry Hotel'. This 'world's lowest elevation hotel' has transformed an abandoned quarry into a real-life 'secret wonderland deep underground'. Spending 24 hours here feels like 'fantasy' and 'real life' have been woven into the fabric of time.
**Morning: From the mist of Guangfulin to the sweetness of Songjiang rice cakes**
The morning breeze carries the humidity of Songjiang. The first order of business is a visit to the Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park. At nine o'clock, the park is still enveloped in morning mist. The roof of the underwater museum floats on the lake, like an ink-wash landscape outline plucked from a painting. The eaves of the Anhui-style old houses drip with dew, and girls in Hanfu dresses walk gracefully along the flagstone paths, their footsteps so light they seem afraid of disturbing the mist.
After strolling until the sun rises higher, we turn into an alley in the old town to find 'Zhangze Lamb Restaurant'. The freshly steamed Songjiang rice cakes are still steaming hot, soft to the touch, with red bean paste oozing out along the glutinous rice grains, a sweet and comforting delight. Paired with a bowl of milky white lamb soup, the umami flavor enveloped by the aroma of rice slides into the stomach, dispelling even the chill of the morning mist.
**Noon: The aquarium in the quarry, soaking up blue-hued time in the water**
Returning to the hotel, the light from the cliff just spills over the glass curtain wall. Taking the elevator down to the 'heart of the earth', the aquarium on B15 suddenly comes into view – giant groupers lazily sway their caudal fins, the silver scales of tuna glitter like stars in the light, and even in the crevices of the rocks, a few small fish hide, as if a 'marine world' has been nailed to the cliff face.
Back on B14, we reach the platform at the bottom of the quarry. Sunlight filters down from the cliff top, weaving a golden net on the water's surface, and even the air is filled with the cool dampness of water – it turns out the quarry's afternoon is steeped in blue.
After resting enough, we head to the nearby Chenshan Botanical Garden. The cliff waterfall in the quarry garden splashes with fragmented light, the mirror lake reflects the sky, and squatting on the lawn watching the clouds drift by, even the wind slows down. It's not until the sun dips below the treetops that we leisurely stroll back to the hotel, where the cliff lights have already come on.
**Night: The freshness of Fengcailou and the starlit river on the cliff**
We booked a window seat at Fengcailou Chinese Restaurant. When the Matsutake mushroom and fish maw stew was served, the ceramic pot was still bubbling. The soup, stewed with quarry spring water, was so clear and fresh, and the fish maw was as soft and smooth as clouds. The crispy roasted pigeon had a satisfying crunch when bitten into, and the savory juices enveloped with fragrance, paired with a sip of plum juice, made even the evening breeze feel sweet. Looking up, there was the blue of the cliff, with lights weaving into shattered silver on the water's surface, making even dining an 'immersive viewing experience'.
Immediately after the 8:30 bell chimed, the cliff suddenly lit up. Lasers spread along the rock textures, 'jellyfish' with glowing tails swam across the cliff face, and 'vines' twined from the bottom of the quarry to the top. A water curtain blended the light into ripples, making the entire quarry seem enveloped by a blue starlit river. Suddenly, dozens of drones ascended from the cliff top, forming the outline of the 'quarry' in the night sky. The gasps of amazement from the crowd mingled with the wind, and even heartbeats seemed to quicken.
Back in the room, the soda in the mini-fridge was still cold, and pulling back the curtains revealed the lingering glow of the cliff. The quarry night was quiet, with only the sound of the wind sweeping across the water's surface, as if 'fantasy' was gently laid upon the pillow.

As a business traveler with a packed schedule, I'm taking advantage of a rare free moment today to praise this hotel apartment. This was our first stay at Citadines Gubei. The hotel breakfast is very generous, and for takeout orders, a robot delivers them directly to the room door. I arrived in a panic because I was 40RMB short for my long hour and a half taxi ride, but the concierge Ricky came out to the taxi and paid the remainder from his very own money. I was then able to exchange Australian dollars for Chinese RMB and pay Ricky back. Things like this do not happen. The whole staff were amazing and ever so helpful. I only stayed 1 night but the breakfast was absolutely so extensive and so enjoyable in the restaurant on the 45th floor where you could view a 360 view of the whole of Guangzhou. A nostalgic trip spanning 40 years, with one night each at the White Swan Hotel and Garden Hotel.
On the 24th floor, the south-facing view is expansive, and you can even glimpse the Canton Tower in the distance. They provide 6 bottles of Zhaoding mountain spring water in the room, and you can pick up more at the elevator on each floor – a big plus!
The only downside was the quality of the dinner buffet on the 30th floor, which wasn't great, but the breakfast the next day, in the same location, was delicious!

The young lady at the front desk who checked me in around 3 PM was very professional and exceptionally polite. The hotel room was spacious, and the bed was huge. It's an older hotel, which is perfectly understandable, and for just an overnight stay, I think it was comfortable and totally fine.
However, I really need to mention the hotel breakfast, which I believe needs significant improvement. Firstly, there's very little variety. Secondly, it seemed unhygienic or perhaps the food wasn't fresh... My husband and I both got diarrhea after eating breakfast and returning to our room! My stomach started hurting in the elevator on the way back to the room after breakfast, and I almost didn't make it to the toilet in time. Before eating, we were both perfectly fine with no discomfort, as we always use the restroom after waking up in the morning.
I distinctly remember everything I ate for breakfast, and I didn't even eat much! I had a small bowl of dace fish, peanut, and pork bone congee, two small pieces of boiled corn, a tea egg, two small cups of hot milk, a small cup of hot blackberry tea, a little vegetable salad, and four small multigrain buns (I gave one to my husband). This time I stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen, which has always had an excellent reputation, and the views were absolutely spectacular!
The welcome fruit platter came with the JW logo and special rosemary cookies, which was a nice touch – definitely not the usual 'traffic light' assortment. The hairdryer wasn't a Dyson, but the amenities were the standard JW AA products, and the drinking water was custom-bottled Bama water.
The executive lounge offerings were quite impressive for a Marriott property, and having fresh-squeezed juice was a definite plus.
The room itself was very spacious, with a Chinese luxury aesthetic. The living room area was ample, and having a guest bathroom made it feel like a proper suite. The room's view was good, despite the building not being particularly tall.
The public areas were well-designed. The changing rooms had both hot and cold plunge pools, which was fantastic, especially since many hotels no longer offer this.
The hotel's guest services team was superb! From check-in to check-out, they provided attentive and thoughtful service, truly going above and beyond to make us feel valued and cared for. They were incredibly considerate and thorough!

We came during the week so the area itself was not busy (as i’ve read it can get on the weekends) so it was perfect for us to have some peace and quiet.
The hotel is ON the beach and there are activities that can be done from there (kayaking, jet ski etc). There are cute little coffee shops/restaurants all within walking distance and in the evening there was entertainment on the beach including an open air cinema with beach chairs for guests.
We booked a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony which was lovely in the evening. The room was very clean, the king size bed was huge and we were able to watch english movies via the projector! (Even travelling in the city at more well known hotels, we have had trouble watching english language tv/movies so this was a bonus for us)
In the morning we asked for late check out (very last minute) and they let us stay for an additional hour.
Also, breakfast was included but we missed the allocated time and they texted us via wechat to offer to bring up 2 plates AND coffee which they did not have to do but was so appreciated.
Overall, we needed to relax and this hotel was perfect. We will definitely be returning again AND recommending to our friends.DariMYR 205

I remember my first stay wasn't great because during peak hours, the elevators were completely inadequate; I often had to wait several minutes for one. This year, I stayed again, and the elevator issue has been resolved – the front desk told me they installed new ones. And as always, the service was wonderfully warm. As soon as I got out of the car, staff greeted me and helped with my luggage to the front desk for check-in. Hygiene: As a hotel, cleanliness is fundamental. My personal habit is to check the hygiene situation everywhere upon entering. I must say, big hotels are reliable; everything was very clean. The only thing was a small hole I noticed in the bedsheet, probably from being washed too many times or worn out. I hope the hotel can pay a little more attention to checking these things.
Environment: The hotel's surroundings are not a bustling area. Although it's next to a road, it's relatively quiet. The only inconvenience is that there are no shops nearby the hotel, or maybe I just didn't see them.
Service: The front desk lady was warm and attentive. She reminded me of the breakfast location and other important information. After checking out, the hotel even called to follow up on my stay and any issues. The window in my room was slightly warped and wouldn't close completely. I had originally planned to mention it in a review, but after telling them during the follow-up call, the hotel said they would immediately contact the engineering department to inspect and resolve the issue. This professional work ethic and responsible attitude alone deserve a five-star rating.

From airport you could take transfer from Chengdu tianfu airport bus line 1 toward city direction alight at the junction of IFS building (under Panda 🐼 chunxi road).It’s about a 7mins walk less than 380m u can reach out the hotel. However the hotel lobby entrance is not facing the main road you can still easily excess to the hotel. The hotel signage is brightly spotted on top of the building is in chinese words so you can search to match the chinese characters. the building is just beside Adidas shop.
When I checked into my room was upgraded with daily breakfast and full room amenities. The services from front desk was excellent especially 销售总监，华少 had offered to assist in solving my little issues.

After extensive research, I chose this hotel over the Park Hyatt, specifically booking a room with a view of Chang'an Avenue. My research had indicated that rooms with a good, unobstructed view of Chang'an Avenue are limited, so arriving early was recommended. We got to the hotel a little after 10 AM and naturally had to wait for the previous night's guests to check out before we could check in.
I particularly want to commend the service:
1. During our stay, middle schools in Beijing were conducting online classes from home. When we arrived, my son was in the middle of an online class. The staff quickly arranged a quiet room for him to continue his class and promised to hold a room for us. We finally checked in at 2 PM, and true to their word, the room they reserved had an excellent view, allowing us to watch the entire parade comfortably from our room.
2. The bellhop was incredibly diligent; seeing I had a lot of luggage, he proactively helped me with everything. His service attitude was excellent throughout, and we even received a small welcome gift upon check-in.
While the hotel's facilities aren't brand new, they are impeccably clean. The hotel's price was very reasonable, and there are also countless great restaurants and attractions nearby. Overall, it's a fantastic value-for-money hotel that I would highly recommend to any friends visiting Beijing.

The hotel's location is great, very convenient yet quiet, perfect for families with kids.
I had booked a room with two breakfasts, but the front desk initially told me it was only for one adult and one child, and I'd have to pay for an additional adult breakfast. After I firmly explained that ”two breakfasts” doesn't differentiate by age, the front desk then said, ”then we'll count it as two breakfasts.” This felt unfair; why did it become a concession when it was what I'd originally booked? I'd be fine paying for an extra children's meal, but the two breakfasts were part of the booking, not an extra gift from the hotel. Due to my firm stance, the front desk eventually offered a complimentary children's breakfast due to a ”communication issue.”
Back in the room, despite it being a non-smoking room, there was a strong smell of smoke. However, they quickly changed my room, and the hotel even called the next day to apologize.
While the issues were resolved reasonably well, they could have been avoided entirely, and they did add some unnecessary stress to our trip.
The food at Lakeside 28 was generally good, but the congealed hairtail dish felt like leftover braised hairtail to a local like me – it really doesn't need to be on the menu. Also, the seats near the air conditioning were very cold with strong drafts; even with a shawl, we were still freezing by the end of the meal.

My friends raved about this hotel I booked. It's ideally located, offering a quiet escape while being just a 200-meter stroll from the bustling Ding'an Road or Yan'an Road. I used to stay at this well-established hotel, which was very convenient for me! When booking for my daughter and her classmate, it was the first place that came to mind! As always, they upgraded our room! New hotels nowadays just don't have the same quality as these older, established ones. Details like the flooring still show its former glory, giving it a very retro feel! The service was also good! Try to avoid driving here; parking at the entrance is available but costly in this prime location. Hangzhou never disappoints! My daughter told me that at West Lake, at 11:30 PM, staff were still helping tourists retrieve a phone. When their retrieval equipment couldn't find it, the staff actually took off their clothes and went into the water to get it! I really applaud the West Lake management for that! The day before, a similar incident happened when my daughter went to Xincheng Ancient Town. Her phone fell into the river while she was having tea, but she couldn't get through to the scenic area's phone number, even though it was before 5 PM! Local residents there actually demanded 1000 yuan to help retrieve it, and kept scaring the kids, saying the current was strong and it would be swept away if they didn't act fast... My daughter and her classmate were desperate (it was an iPhone 17 that she'd just bought, less than a month after her previous iPhone broke in Shanghai, so she probably felt very bad about it). Incredibly, she went into the river herself to retrieve it, even though she was on her period! By the time her dad arrived, ready to help, she had already gotten it out herself! Breakfast is served on the 40th floor, and the selection was quite extensive. Just a tip: when heading to breakfast, make sure to take the regular elevator, not the scenic one, as the regular one goes directly to the restaurant. From the breakfast restaurant, you can also enjoy stunning views of Hangzhou's Qiantang River.
Finally, a word about the infinity pool bar on the 41st floor! It's incredibly photogenic, perfect for snapping some amazing shots. By day, it's a kid-friendly swimming haven, and in the evening, you can catch the sunset – another perfect opportunity for incredible photos.
I checked in past 11 PM, and the friendly front desk staff member quickly got me settled. They offered two complimentary cocktail vouchers, which I couldn't use as I'm pregnant. Thoughtfully, he swapped them for coffee and milk instead. He even came out to guide me to the parking lot!

This was my first stay at an Atour hotel, and I'm so glad I booked it. After a long day of traveling, it was the perfect place to unwind and get some good rest. The hotel butler even contacted me in advance to ask about my preferences and sent up some fruit.
First, the soundproofing: I found it to be very quiet. I didn't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms or the hallway. It's next to a road, which is unavoidable, but they even provided earplugs.
Next, the service: It was incredibly hot during my trip to Hangzhou, so I was sweating a lot and needed to wash my clothes daily. The laundry room had long queues every night, but the staff would help wash your clothes and deliver them to your door. They mentioned sometimes working until 2 or 3 AM, which shows how hard they work.

Breakfast was just average, but the cleanliness of the restaurant tables and chairs was also quite unsatisfactory.
Overall, it's okay for an event venue, but for personal stays, the room's hardware probably isn't even on par with a 400 RMB mid-range business hotel (and I paid over 600 RMB).
The only highlight is the hotel's location at the delta, which allows for pleasant walks along the river.

The moment I stepped out of the car, the doorman proactively helped with my luggage and offered warm water, saying, ”You must be tired from your journey.” That instantly melted away my fatigue. The warm towel and Roselle tea were perfect touches. During my stay, I casually mentioned wanting some hot food, and the housekeeper delivered a beef noodle soup within ten minutes, quietly raising the room temperature and reminding me to stay warm.
The pool is an absolute treasure! The 28℃ constant-temperature water is always crystal clear, and the 24-hour circulating filtration system means there's no chlorine smell, so even sensitive skin can enjoy a swim without worries. Towels and mineral water are neatly arranged poolside, and lifeguards are always on duty, making me feel completely safe. During the day, sunlight streams through the glass onto the water, creating a shimmering effect, and you can even catch glimpses of the Tang Paradise. After a swim, a dip in the Jacuzzi completely washes away all travel weariness.

Quaint hotel which is actually in an apartment building where several floors have been converted into a hotel. Very modern and artistic deco, owner clearly put a lot of time and thought into the design.
LOCATION
About 1.5km from Nanmen, walking distance to certain popular food areas like Xiaonanmen and Zhongmao Plaza. Short cab ride to all the major attractions. It isnt exactly in the heart of Xi'an but still reasonably well located.
ROOM
We basically had a two room apartment with a loving room.and two toilets. As with the rest of the hotel, very well renovated and stylishly furnished. Great for families which need multiple rooms and a common area. The beds and pillows were the best during our trip to China, we all slept fantastically well there.
AMENITIES
There is a small gym but the highlight is the 'cat room' which is literally a room full of cats, kittens and feline toys. The cats were very clean and very posh looking! Kids had a blast playing with the cats.
SERVICE
The best part of Hesu is the staff. Whilw they dont speak much English, they were super helpful and friendly. They even have a WeChat account for guests to ping them for help.
CONCLUSION

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon. We were initially hesitant about staying at the Grand Hyatt due to its distance from most attractions, but ultimately decided on it because of the spacious rooms. Kelsey contacted me a day before our arrival. Upon learning it was our honeymoon and that I'd ordered flowers and a cake, she thoughtfully offered to sign for them and place them in our room in advance. She even went the extra mile by decorating the room beautifully and leaving a hand-drawn card. She was also incredibly helpful, resolving all our questions and issues during our stay. Kelsey truly deserves a shout-out, more so than the hotel itself! When hotels are otherwise comparable, service is what truly sets them apart.
The breakfast selection was quite limited, but their Roujiamo (Chinese meat sandwich) was hands down the best I had during my four days in Xi'an! This was a fantastic stay! First off, the hotel's location is excellent, right by a Metro Line 2 exit, close to the Bell and Drum Towers, and just a hundred meters from the Muslim Quarter. When I traveled to Xi'an, I chose the Xi Tang Inn, and it was an amazing experience!
The inn's location is superb, situated in a bustling area with plenty of food options nearby, and it's close to attractions, making getting around super convenient. As soon as I entered, the ancient charm of the decor made me feel like I had traveled back to the Tang Dynasty. From the wooden furniture to the elegant murals, every detail exuded the essence of the Grand Tang era.
The room was cozy, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were also of good quality. Plus, the inn provided attentive service; the staff were warm and friendly. They not only patiently answered my travel questions but also helped plan my routes, which saved me a lot of hassle during my trip.
The price was also very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. During my stay here, I slept soundly every night and woke up feeling refreshed to visit attractions during the day.

When selecting a hotel, I was torn between staying inside or outside the ancient city. This hotel had excellent reviews, and after seeing them, I decided to book. I can now confirm that its convenient parking for self-drivers, extensive breakfast, and outstanding service truly exceeded my expectations. The service was incredibly warm and home-like, offering a five-star experience for an exceptionally affordable price. Though built in the 90s, the facilities are excellent, and it's clearly a landmark building. From the top floor, you get panoramic views of the entire city, including distant mountains, the ancient city, and city streetscapes. Apparently, from September to April, you can even spot snow-capped mountains. It's conveniently located, just an 800-meter walk to the ancient city via Qixing Street, or about 1000 meters if you turn right from the main entrance and use the North Gate – both routes are very accessible. During our visit, there were two large Vietnamese tour groups, yet the staff handled the high volume of guests with impressive efficiency and professionalism. Their service was exceptionally warm, patient, and truly outstanding. Highly commendable! 👍
The breakfast spread was incredibly extensive, featuring a wide array of fruits and vegetables, vegetable rice porridge, rice noodles, stir-fried noodles, and stir-fried dishes – my personal favorite being the baked beans in tomato sauce. There were also breads, cakes, hot and cold milk, and even a dedicated station for ice, fried eggs, boiled eggs, sweet potatoes, peanuts, bacon, sausages, Chinese crullers (youtiao), and congee. During the Spring Festival, I went to Lijiang with my family, hoping to find a cost-effective hotel. This is an old five-star hotel, and it is generally good! The service is online. When I went out on the first day, I put the suitcase on the carpet. My friend and I were going to climb a snow-capped mountain, so I came two nights early to acclimatize to the altitude and chose Indigo, which I now realize was a very wise decision.
The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the InterContinental. You can even have breakfast at the InterContinental, but Indigo's semi-buffet is also very distinctive, with a Tea Horse Road-themed set menu that covers almost all local specialties.
The room was very clean and had excellent ceiling height. A special, special thank you to the lovely Lydia at the front desk. She promptly resolved a minor incident and a small issue I had, and later provided a lot of information about nearby attractions and tea houses. While Indigo is not a small B&B for several people, your warmth and attentiveness are priceless given its location!
If I come back with my family next time, especially with children, I will definitely choose Indigo again. I also want to praise the complimentary travel photography service here; even though it was free, the staff were very professional, from makeup to photography to photo selection. As someone who travels by car, parking is always a big concern. The hotel's parking lot had ample space, so there was no need to search or rush for a spot. I could just park and check right in, making the whole process hassle-free. It's a 20-minute walk to the Dayan Ancient Town's Waterwheel, allowing me to avoid the crowded attractions and high prices there. Even better, Jinjia Market was just a few minutes' stroll away, where I found fresh and affordable local mangoes, Orah mandarins, Shine Muscat grapes, sugar oranges, and mangosteens – nearly half the price of what you'd pay in the ancient town shops. It was easy to stock up on fruit to my heart's content.
The room itself maintained the consistent quality you'd expect from a chain hotel: clean, tidy, and with comfortable bedding. The self-service laundry room was also a great convenience for washing clothes during my trip.

Discovered a hidden gem in Lijiang Old Town!
Pushing open the heavy wooden gate of Muyuntang, the hustle and bustle of the outside world instantly faded away. The small courtyard was tranquil and peaceful, with dogs lazily lounging in the sun. The room was a delightful surprise! It perfectly blended rustic ethnic charm with modern comforts, and the bed linens were incredibly soft.
But my absolute favorite was the private balcony with its swing chair, offering stunning views of the old town's layered rooftops and distant mountains. The sunset views from there were simply unforgettable!
The guesthouse service was also incredibly attentive. Staff helped with our luggage to the room, and breakfast was provided, ensuring we were well-fueled for a day of exploring the Old Town.

We stayed in the spacious duplex as we wanted to try a different accommodation than a hotel, especially at the end of our holiday. This was a great place to relax. The host was very attentive, took care of us and answered questions immediately via WeChat.
I love the location, because of the convenience! It’s close to everything, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle, so you still have some peace.
The only disappointment I had was other tourists. The insulation isn’t great, so around the weekend at 1-2AM, you hear their footsteps in the corridor and people talking to each other on the way back to their rooms. That wasn’t very considerate for other guests.

First, some praise:
① Compared to the quadruple rooms in other hostels I've stayed in, this one is more spacious and the hygiene is good.
② The location, tucked away in an alley off the main road, makes it quiet enough if there's no one being noisy.
In my opinion, the shortcomings are:
① The room truly has nothing in it – no disposable toiletries whatsoever. While it does make it look tidy, it's quite bare.
② The hot water flow in the private bathroom is a bit weak, lacking any real pressure.
③ The room door isn't soundproof, and the floor creaks loudly when walked on.

This guesthouse really enhanced my travel experience. It truly exceeded my expectations. I usually stay in five-star hotels when traveling with children, considering their safety and hygiene. This time in Lijiang, I wanted to try a homestay, so I blindly booked two rooms for two adults and two children. The front desk was very considerate and upgraded the room. The room was very quiet, clean, and refreshing. Even someone with a nervous breakdown who usually requires a lot of sleep, slept very well. The staff was very friendly, bringing fish food to feed the children every morning and giving them two small fish gifts when we left. We also saw a baby squirrel in the courtyard! I was so happy! The most memorable hotel from my Yunnan trip.
The hotel is situated right in Lijiang Old Town, and appears to be a beautifully refurbished old building. Initially, I booked it purely for its convenient location, as we were only staying one night before heading up the snow mountain. However, the hotel's service and attention to detail truly surprised me.
The fantastic transfer service was almost a given, but it was the other details that truly stood out. While the room wasn't huge and the soundproofing wasn't perfect at night, the quality of the toiletries and other amenities was exceptional. They even provided a cushioned disposable comb, laundry detergent by the sink, and earplugs. On the non-disposable front, they offered a shawl and sunglasses, which felt incredibly thoughtful for out-of-town guests.
What's more, since we arrived late and were leaving by noon the next day, missing afternoon tea, the hotel thoughtfully packed two boxes of pastries for us to take on our way. The most heartwarming gesture was when we had to check out without getting to enjoy the complimentary fruit bar at 12 PM. Upon learning this, the hotel not only called to apologize but also sent some delicious flower pastries (Xianhua Bing) directly to our home!
Therefore, if I ever have the chance to visit Lijiang again, I would definitely stay here and wholeheartedly recommend it to my friends. I truly hope the hotel continues to maintain its consistently warm and thoughtful service!DariMYR 528

## Environment:
The hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. It's very close to Victoria Harbour, and walking to Tsim Sha Tsui East and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations is also very convenient. I'm not sure if I got an upgraded room type, but my room even had a walk-in closet.
## Service:
The hotel room essentially met all my requirements. I chose a twin room this time because the king-size rooms were smoking rooms. Our room was on a higher floor, close to the elevator yet still quiet, and we could see a partial view of Victoria Harbour from outside. The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful; they would proactively offer help whenever they saw us.
## Hygiene and Facilities:
The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. All the amenities are quite new and very clean, though the facilities themselves are relatively classic/retro.
## Breakfast:
Breakfast was a mix of Western and Cantonese cuisine. The variety of dishes was relatively rich, and the Cantonese dim sum was delicious. This was my first time staying at the Royal Garden. The hotel is clean, has a beautiful pool, nice views, and a wide selection of restaurants. Every staff member presents themselves in a professional manner, they have sincere smiles and are extremely helpful, the concierge, bellboy and housekeeping staff are very polite as well.
I am especially thankful to Manager Bonny for leading her team excellently. Her team members, Polly, Ken, and Anson, all have great team spirit and were very helpful with our facility requests, as well as with the special arrangements for our tour. The room size was pretty good, and I think it offers decent value for money in Hong Kong. The only minor issues were that the lighting was a bit dim and the bathroom door lock was faulty – you needed someone to help align it to get it to latch.
The lobby connects directly to Langham Place, which is very convenient. I even stumbled upon a Kuromi pop-up there! Some of the facilities did feel a bit dated, which is understandable.

The most outstanding feature of this hotel is probably its ventilation system (since the hotel is relatively new, the AC and air circulation likely use two separate ducts). I originally planned to use the hotel's washing machine (laundry is $40 and drying is $40, not cheap). On the first day, I just hand-washed a pair of shorts and socks, and to my surprise, they were completely dry by the next day, hanging on the rack outside the sink! (I'm sensitive to cold, so I kept the AC at 25 degrees at night, and it only blew occasionally, so its exhaust system must be independent). I have to praise it. Shimen MTR station is very close to the hotel, and at Sam Do Restaurant next to the station, the triple-combo rice is only $38 after 7 PM. 1️⃣Excellent location. It's only three stops from Austin (we arrived at West Kowloon by high-speed rail). The hotel is close to the MTR station, and there's a shopping mall downstairs. You can even access two or three other malls via connected pedestrian bridges – truly a 'city of bridges'. There's also a park downstairs with children's play facilities. Several markets are nearby, offering great value, especially for fruit.
2️⃣Spacious rooms. The twin room had two 1.5-meter large beds (this was the most important reason we chose this hotel). It's family-friendly with a bathtub (bring your own disposable tub liner, and the kids can enjoy a bath!).
3️⃣The hotel also has an outdoor pool and offers free luggage storage.

1️⃣We stayed in the low-rise building this time. The showerhead in the bathroom was fixed to the wall (as shown in picture 7), so children had to bathe in the tub.
2️⃣We requested children's amenities like a bed rail when booking, but upon check-in, there were no child-specific items, not even extra disposable slippers (only two pairs were provided).
3️⃣The room facilities are a bit dated, and the cleanliness wasn't exceptional.

1️⃣The hotel does not provide bottled water. You'll need to purchase it or bring your own bottle to fill up at the free water dispensers.
2️⃣No universal adapters are provided. You'll need to bring your own or buy one.

For some travellers who are on a long layover or on a business trip it is very convenient.
If you have a very early departure from HKIA I would also recommend as you wont have the burden of having to wake up early to commute to the airport as you'd just be a walking distance.

A Great Choice in a Prime Location
Our stay at the Ramada Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui was a very pleasant experience. The hotel's location is its biggest asset, offering incredible convenience for exploring the city. We were just a short walk away from the MTR station, making it easy to get around Hong Kong's main attractions, and the surrounding neighborhood is bustling with restaurants, shops, and convenience stores.

While trying to contact trip.com which they wasn’t helpful as much can’t even give me refund the rest of the night and say ask the hotel. The next morning I have to say the guy manger was much better help and trying to provide a great service for the worst experience I have and change us to a much cleaner and bigger room for us (I think it was upgrade) but I feel like the lady should had done that on the first night and shouldn’t had waiting the next morning and I need to ask for changing room bc the third room I realize in the morning it wasn’t the best for cleanliness like the mole in the washroom,table, fridge, and rundown appliance. The only positive thing I had at this hotel was the manager trying to help me to make my rest of stay more comfortable, but have to say the hotel itself is so rundown and not well maintain. We booked the quadruple room for 3 of us, room was small with us getting into each other's way quite often. There is also no space to put luggages (we had 2 medium ones) except the window ledge which was lined up against the beds. There were mirrors reflecting each other everywhere in the room, including a mirror in the middle of the room where there was a divider for the tv (seen covered with a towel in the photo). Also there were 3 large mirrors in the bathroom, the only wall with no mirror was the door.
It is branded as an eco hotel, there is no water provided in the room, except an empty water bottle which you can fill up at designated floors in the hotel. The 2 lifts were super busy and was crowded alot of the times when we took it. Note there was also no hand soap in the bathroom. I thought it may have been missed out so I asked at the front desk and was told they don't provide any handsoap. So I asked for another bottle of shower gel to be placed at the sink, and was given a Johnson and Johnson baby shower gel.
The only good thing was - slippers provided were good and anti-slip. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were from Elemis.
All in all, will not be staying here again. The abundance of mirror was creepy.DariMYR 529

This was the 3rd stay in the last 2 months. First I made a mistake and double booked our rooms. The hotel was very fast to cancel one of my bookings without any charges. On arrival, Vanessa at the front desk was very nice and helped arrange adjoining rooms for my wife and I and adjoining room for my 2 boys.
Aside from easy access to the MTR and lots of restaurants all around the hotel offers a spectacular view of the Victoria Harbor from their VIP Lounge on the top floor.

A clean hotel with a good view of the city across the river/sea.
The only down side is that if we wanted amenities we have to buy it from a vending machine on the same floor that only accepts Alipay, WeChat and octopus. We are not from the mainland and just arrived in Hong Kong so we cannot buy anything from it. By amenities, I mean stuff like mineral water, toothbrush.
Staff comes to clean everysay at about 10am and room was spacious. Did not get food from the hotel so will not be commenting on that.
The hotel is a bit far from the train station but there is a bus stop about 1 min way in front of the hotel that can take us to the train station. It is also walkable to the nearest ferry terminal, about 10mins walk.
