Horrible hotel

The housekeeping guy wanted to kick me out of the room at 1030 while the check out time should be 1100

I reached hotel around 11 a.m and Checkin time was 2 p.m, I requested them for early Checkin, they said you have to pay extra for early checkin, I agreed to pay extra money, But despite that the guy on reception did not even bother and kept me waiting in lobby until 1:30pm. That was unco-operative behaviour for me.

Don’t be phased by how the hotel may look from the outside. It’s a simple, affordable hotel with a big, clean room.

Upon arrival the hotel looks a little dated from the exterior but once inside it was so clean! Staff were super friendly, bar and reception area was fantastic and reasonably priced bar too! For how much we paid, I’m amazed at how good it was, rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, bathroom had a good shower. Good location as (10/15 minutes Uber from Old Trafford). Would 100% return & recommend this hotel.

Simply just not clean. Stains everywhere, damage to desks, chairs. What appeared to be toothpaste stains on the door? See photos attached and hopefully you’ll choose somewhere which actually cleans/maintains its rooms instead

This hotel is good value for money!

Really great stay. The outside and entrance is a little unappealing but our room was nice. It felt recently refurbished with a modern bathroom. Beds were comfy and the hotel was quiet. Free parking was a bonus. Staff were very friendly. Would return in future.

Still need new amenities

After an issue with the booking agent on my arrival, I had to wait over 45 minutes to get checked in, but the hotel were not at fault, and dealt with the issue admirably. Apparently the booking agent had booked my reservation through *******. The booking agent trip.com followed up this error by offering me some trip coins to use on my next booking. The hotel is in a very old block of flats that have been converted, the air con did not work and the room was boiling hot every evening, there was a fan in the room to keep the heat down slightly. The maid was excellent, turning down the room throughout my 4 nights there. Only a tram ride to the city, approx 20 minutes, and very regular. Or local bus and train station is also an alternative. The hotel reception is located on the 2nd floor of the building, so you have to take the lift up in order to check in. The hotel has rooms on a few floors and offer breakfast as an option, I did not opt for this, due to my schedule each day. They definitely need to update the air conditioning and the room I stayed in looked dated but the supply of tea and coffee made up for the decor. The TV on the wall was a long way away from the bed and not ideal if you wanted to watch TV in bed.

The breakfast was fantastic

Location is quite good, service is nice especially I was checking in at nearly midnight.
