Hotel berhampiran St Chad's St, Manchester

For the most part, the hotel was clean. The staff were very helpful as my keycards stopped working twice but it was resolved pretty quick. The lifts worked fine and were decently fast, especially since I was on the sixth floor. The security guard was lovely too. Onto the room, the main bathroom light took about 30 seconds to a minute to turn on. That isn't too bad, but it was just kind of irritating at times. As well as that, the shower was dripping during the entire stay no matter what we did. The sixth floor is supposed to be a quiet floor, but there was a lot of noise coming from both inside and outside the hotel which was sometimes disruptive. There were workers around too, which wasn't too bad, but they started working early and you could definitely hear them. As well as this, there was a fire alarm test with no prior notice. The wifi was pretty hard to use on my phone - I had to manually type in the connection site each time. It was the same on my laptop, but I had to go into the settings and get the site each time to connect. In general the stay wasn't so bad and the location was decent, the main issues were the noises and shower, but everything else was good. I would recommend for a budget hotel. The bed was comfortable and everything worked fine for the most part, but just be wary of the surroundings.

Would definitely recommend this hotel for short stays in Manchester. The central location makes it ideal for exploring, shopping and evenings out. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. Everywhere was absolutely spotless, the staff were all lovely and the bar/restaurant downstairs is a great place to start your night.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. It was conveniently located. People at the front desk were nice and it did what it was supposed to do to do as a hotel. The hotel is a little dated especially the carpet in the room. The room was a little stuffy and the carpet had some strange markings. Other than that the hotel provided free tea,milk, sugar you know the basics in the room. Pleasant stay overall

First impression on walking in very nice relaxed atmosphere , there were a few teething problems on checking in there was a new receptionist but a senior member observed and help solve and I was given a complimentary drink token in the way af apology which was a nice touch . The hotel is situated 10 mins walk from Piccadilly train station and vey central. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was enough around . We got back late and found the bar area pretty full . The drink was expensive but with the amount of staff around and the service this was expected . The overnight sleep was trouble free no noise bed comfortable and linen very clean . I have been travailing to Manchester for 30 years and have stayed in many hotels I have to say that for the price is by far the best I’ve stayed in Thank you for making me feel so well-come I will be defiantly be staying there again .

This is awesome! I had an overnight train the night before and was in quite a mess. Thankfully, the hotel staff was nice enough to provide me early check in! The room is clean with hair dryer & iron! Will definitely come back again.

The hotel is very near to Oxford Road train station, just a few minutes walk, and have a direct line to Manchester Airport. The hotel is located at the city CENTRE, with China town, Art Gallery, large shopping malls within several minutes walking distance. Besides, Holiday Inn Express hotel always provides breakfast with sufficient variety of food and drinks to choose from. It also hot drinks throughout the day. But, there are two Holiday Inn Express hotels in the city CENTRE. So, make sure to key in Oxford Road in searching the routes to hotel in using Google Map.

When we arrived there was plenty of parking available which was a plus point for us. We approached the reception to check in, and they were very welcoming. There may have been a small issue with our booking I'm not sure what it was maybe our room was not ready but it was resolved quickly and we got upgraded to a King room with river view. I got asked how I'd like to pay for our visit, but I had to inform them that it's already been paid online. After dinner we stopped at the beverage counter for a hot drink and soft drink. The server was really nice and she was accomodated to our needs. The room itself was spacious and modern. We really liked the smart TV as it gave us more options to watch something. The bathroom was nice as well however the toilet was a little stained. Overall enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Hampton by Hilton - Rochdale for a 1 night stay as we we're attending a family function on the sunday. We'd booked a king room, it was lovely and clean, the bed was comfy and the room was well stocked. We parked our car on M&S and the hotel validated our parking so that was free. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast, the food was pleasant and there was lots of choice. The receptionist when checking in and out was very kind and welcoming, I didn't catch her name but she is a real asset to the hotel! Negative points, there was alot of street noise. The hotel can't be held responsible for that. Also the view from the room was of a ugly carpark, but it was for one night and that wouldn't put me off staying again. I don't think there'd be a picturesque vista in many town centres to be honest. lol Great hotel overall! I'd definitely book again.

Nice size room with a fridge I booked it for my son as we were in the holiday inn near by and I popped in and was very impressed as well as having a nice size room the bathroom was really large compared to the holiday inn and to my surprise there was a fridge, again something that I didn’t have it had tea and coffee making facilities as well as ironing board and iron, it is in need o Some TLC as it is a little shabby and some of the blinds need replacing and the carpets and flooring need updating and the car park has a lot of pot holes but if you want something cheap and clean it’s probably worth a visit and I myself will give it a try the next time I am in Bolton
