To start, this hotel was recently renovated. The rooms feel fresh and new, and are spacious and beautifully decorated. The shower is excellent. The bed has a wonderful, thick mattress pad and the pillows are super comfortable. Possibly the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve encountered in a hotel. The rooms even have labels for all the light switches. Now to talk about the food. The complimentary breakfast is excellent, with a large variety of food. There are two restaurants, there is one bar and there is also 24 hour room service! The restaurants are very good. One is a very high quality Chinese restaurant and the other is a very nice mix of Indian and international food. There is also a cute gift shop. The concierge is simply wonderful. Everyone at Vivanta Mangalore is so helpful and friendly. They even allow a free 2 PM checkout upon request. There is a cab stand right next to the hotel, which is convenient. The pool looks really nice too, and the WiFi works wonderfully. This hotel is also priced very well. Recommended!

Very pleased with my stay at AJGrand. Located centrally in the city of ***galuru and a short distance from attractions, and within easy reach of transportation options just outside the hotel. Well-***aged and clean 4-star hotel. Staff and ***agers are friendly, focussed, hard-working and professional. Onsite veg, non-veg restaurants and two lounges serve tasty food and drinks. Breakfast is wholesome with made-to-order dosa and omlette stations, traditional and continental offerings. Rooms are stylishly furnished, showers are hot, and guest rooms at the back of the property are quiet and insulated from traffic noise from the main road. Room service offers good choices and housekeeping is very responsive. Hotel can arrange taxi’s for hassle-free airport and local transportation.

Excellent property away from all the noise. It offers the best to family to friends who are on a weekend getaway. Nice resorts amidst the greenery of your choice. Neat wooden deluxe amenities, a nice fit to your pocket. Young and Children-friendly, you can find all that play and fun. Good food and service, with professional staff. Except this property is a bit far from the beaches of Mangalore.

We had an excellent stay for a week at this hotel. The entire team including the manager Mr.Cletus, Vijay, Akshata, Sudeksha, Rajesh & the housekeeping staff were polite, kind , helpful, and prompt in their services throughout the day. The hotel was well maintained and clean. The breakfast was good, with different items served daily. The hotel is centrally located with good restaurants and supermarkets close by. Zomato & Swiggy also deliver to the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay here again as well during our next visit.

I had the pleasure of visiting Mangalore on the 17th of October 2023, where I was greeted with a warm welcome despite my late arrival at night after a 12-hours long journey. One of the first things that captured my attention was a stunning wall-to-wall mural behind the front office desk. This remarkable artwork vividly depicted the cultural heritage of Karnataka, featuring Kola performances, Kambala races, and other local traditions that have gained recent pan-India popularity thanks to the movie ”Kantara.” It served as a captivating introduction to the exciting experiences that awaited me during my stay. Let's talk about the accommodation. The rooms were tastefully appointed and impeccably clean. I particularly appreciated the Skylight Suites, which, while lacking a balcony, featured a beautifully decorated and spacious sitting area with a skylight adjacent to the main room. This clever design made the room feel more expansive. However, it's worth mentioning that the washrooms could benefit from better ventilation. In terms of dining, the food was satisfactory, but I would suggest diversifying the menu to include more vegetarian options to cater to a wider range of preferences. Now, let me highlight the standout feature of my stay – the in-house transportation services provided by the hotel. They operated with exceptional efficiency, boasting well-maintained and spotlessly clean vehicles. The chauffeurs were not only punctual but also displayed the utmost professionalism. I must give a special commendation to Mr. Balraj, who not only ensured our smooth transport to the temples we had planned to visit but also offered valuable insights into darshan durations. His willingness to take us to additional temples during our journeys, such as the Mariamman Temple in Mangalore, Rajarajeshwari Temple in Polali, Bappanadu Parameshwari Temple in Mulki, and Uchchila Maha Lakshmi on the way to Udupi (and possibly more that I can't recall at the moment) was truly exceptional. His knowledge of cultural immersion opportunities, especially during Navratris, was remarkable, and he even introduced us to experiences like the Yakshagana performance at Kadri Manjunatheswar. As my trip had a strong focus on pilgrimage, his insights into these sacred places were invaluable. His careful and considerate approach as a driver was exemplary. Not once did he engage in rash driving, even in the challenging and treacherous forested, mountainous routes that we encountered. Furthermore, Mr. Balraj's helpful nature shone brightly throughout our journey. With my elderly parents accompanying me, his assistance was greatly appreciated. He went above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being, offering his support at every turn.
