We had an excellent stay for a week at this hotel. The entire team including the manager Mr.Cletus, Vijay, Akshata, Sudeksha, Rajesh & the housekeeping staff were polite, kind , helpful, and prompt in their services throughout the day. The hotel was well maintained and clean. The breakfast was good, with different items served daily. The hotel is centrally located with good restaurants and supermarkets close by. Zomato & Swiggy also deliver to the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay here again as well during our next visit.

Very pleased with my stay at AJGrand. Located centrally in the city of ***galuru and a short distance from attractions, and within easy reach of transportation options just outside the hotel. Well-***aged and clean 4-star hotel. Staff and ***agers are friendly, focussed, hard-working and professional. Onsite veg, non-veg restaurants and two lounges serve tasty food and drinks. Breakfast is wholesome with made-to-order dosa and omlette stations, traditional and continental offerings. Rooms are stylishly furnished, showers are hot, and guest rooms at the back of the property are quiet and insulated from traffic noise from the main road. Room service offers good choices and housekeeping is very responsive. Hotel can arrange taxi’s for hassle-free airport and local transportation.

Very courteous and helpful staff, who booked my room in advance on phone though i was uncertain about my trip. Made payment later. Room was good though AC which wasn't working was rectified when brought to notice. Buffet breakfast simple and sumptuous. Help for arrangement of transport also readily done by reception staff. Hotel near main market so convenient.

Location was perfect. Hotel is located quite conveniently next to the city train station. We availed breakfast at the hotel and it was absolutely delicious but the quantity was limited unfortunately. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the ac unit worked flawlessly to keep the room nice and cool. On the flip side, the accessibility for seniors or people with leg or knee problems left a lot to be desired. The few flights of stairs have no hand rails and the entire entrance was slippery due to rain. This is a big safety hazard. The hotel neighborhood has a lot of active construction going on which made it very noisy in the day time. The tv was non functional and while we requested assistance it took a long time for the staff to come and take a look. Finally, the lobby raked off cigarette smoke throughout the day. While the room itself was free from the smell of tobacco this left me with a severe headache. Overall this contributed to an average experience.

We had a great stay at the Vivanta for 3 nights from 23 - 26 Sept. The room was spacious and very comfortable for 2 people. All modern amenities were provided. The buffet breakfast was very nice and on the last night we had dinner at Memories of China. We had special requests for some vegetarian dishes and the chef did an excellent job. We will definitely come to Mangalore just to eat there again. Sudeesh at the front desk provided excellent service and took care of our all needs especially when my wife and I were not feeling well for a few days. Great staff and great hotel. Highly recommended 👍

We stayed for two nights and liked the generous room with the two separate beds. We found the room clean, pleasant and quiet, equipped with modern electronic controls, which makes the handling not necessarily easier. So at night for no reason at all the panel for the air condition was lighting up every once in a while. We did not find a way to stop that. The air condition itself worked well and temperature was easy to regulate. Both beds carried 2 identical, big pillows, too big for our comfort. Instead, we would have liked two pillows of different size in order to have a choice on which one to sleep best. But the Hotel had only one size of pillow. The breakfast on the fifth floor was abundant and of good quality. So we were to more than 80% happy with our Hotel.

I had the pleasure of visiting Mangalore on the 17th of October 2023, where I was greeted with a warm welcome despite my late arrival at night after a 12-hours long journey. One of the first things that captured my attention was a stunning wall-to-wall mural behind the front office desk. This remarkable artwork vividly depicted the cultural heritage of Karnataka, featuring Kola performances, Kambala races, and other local traditions that have gained recent pan-India popularity thanks to the movie ”Kantara.” It served as a captivating introduction to the exciting experiences that awaited me during my stay. Let's talk about the accommodation. The rooms were tastefully appointed and impeccably clean. I particularly appreciated the Skylight Suites, which, while lacking a balcony, featured a beautifully decorated and spacious sitting area with a skylight adjacent to the main room. This clever design made the room feel more expansive. However, it's worth mentioning that the washrooms could benefit from better ventilation. In terms of dining, the food was satisfactory, but I would suggest diversifying the menu to include more vegetarian options to cater to a wider range of preferences. Now, let me highlight the standout feature of my stay – the in-house transportation services provided by the hotel. They operated with exceptional efficiency, boasting well-maintained and spotlessly clean vehicles. The chauffeurs were not only punctual but also displayed the utmost professionalism. I must give a special commendation to Mr. Balraj, who not only ensured our smooth transport to the temples we had planned to visit but also offered valuable insights into darshan durations. His willingness to take us to additional temples during our journeys, such as the Mariamman Temple in Mangalore, Rajarajeshwari Temple in Polali, Bappanadu Parameshwari Temple in Mulki, and Uchchila Maha Lakshmi on the way to Udupi (and possibly more that I can't recall at the moment) was truly exceptional. His knowledge of cultural immersion opportunities, especially during Navratris, was remarkable, and he even introduced us to experiences like the Yakshagana performance at Kadri Manjunatheswar. As my trip had a strong focus on pilgrimage, his insights into these sacred places were invaluable. His careful and considerate approach as a driver was exemplary. Not once did he engage in rash driving, even in the challenging and treacherous forested, mountainous routes that we encountered. Furthermore, Mr. Balraj's helpful nature shone brightly throughout our journey. With my elderly parents accompanying me, his assistance was greatly appreciated. He went above and beyond to ensure their comfort and well-being, offering his support at every turn. His unwavering dedication to both our safety and enjoyment of the trip made him an indispensable part of our experience. Mr. Balraj truly embodies the spirit of excellence in service. Newly renovated, well furnished premium category hotel with reasonable pricing. Nice view from the hotel (highway view). Staffs are very cooperative and gentle. peaceful ambience. recommended for couples too.

Excellent property away from all the noise. It offers the best to family to friends who are on a weekend getaway. Nice resorts amidst the greenery of your choice. Neat wooden deluxe amenities, a nice fit to your pocket. Young and Children-friendly, you can find all that play and fun. Good food and service, with professional staff. Except this property is a bit far from the beaches of Mangalore.

I had a pleasant stay at hotel ganga sagar in mangalore on the nights of the 12th and 15th. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was courteous and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. One area for improvement would be to offer room service around the clock, at least for coffee or tea. Overall, it was a great experience, and i would definitely recommend it to others.
