The best week ever. Incredibly spacious and luxurious villas, a short ride from the epic surf beaches of Lombok. The food, service and overall hospitality was outstanding. The staff were all highly conversant in English, engaging and warm with the kids. Loads for kids to do. My daughter even had a special gluten free menu made for her. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back!!

Selong Selo is a very special place. This is our 3rd trip there and each time just gets better. The view is unbeatable. The villas are gorgeous, well maintained and with everything you need. The service is fantastic, the staff speak great English too, which is a bonus. I recommend having the private BBQ on your villa balcony…the seafood and sauces and yummy! In fact all the food is cooked to a great standard, the French toast at breakfast is another one not to miss. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, where you have the option of exploring if you want or being fully taken care of from in villa massages to dining, this is the place! I miss it already!

We had a 2 night stay at the Amazing Selo Selo resort! The villa was beyond our wildest dreams. The ambience was stunning as was the view of Selong Belanak bay. Attention to our whims were catered for from the amazing staff & nothing was a problem. The restaurant served 5 star food & this included room service. Thank you Selong Selo we we look forward to seeing you soon!

The staff at this resort are exceptionally helpful and friendly. They helped us find a local driver for the duration of our stay (7 days) as well as recommending local places to see and the best places to go snorkelling. The food at the resort was exceptional but possibly the best value and experience they offer was in the spa. The staff were very experienced and the surroundings are second to none Would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday

We have been to Selong Selo before. As it is perched in the most wonderful position overlooking jungle, rice paddies and the stunning Selong Belanak beach, it's hard not to be stunned by the setting here. We really enjoyed our trip in May, in the early summer season where the greenery was still vibrant and the air fresh. The staff at S. Selo are excellent, as is the hospitality. Our two weeks was peaceful and perfect for us as a couple with our own infinity pool. The location is perfect for day trips around the south and west Lombok and we discovered some hidden gems of stunning little islands that few tourists know about. And the waterfalls are probably better than Bali for thaf pure nature vibe. Will definitely return to explore some more. Thank you S. Selo for looking after us and for your commitment to sustainable development.

We came there for a 9 night stay and ended up wanting to stay double that! From our villa with a stunning view and the incredible beaches to a great gym and a sweet and mindful service, it was exactly what we had hoped for. Especially the staff (led by the amazing Janu) was what made our trip amazing. It did not just feel like being in a hotel but more felt like being at home. They are genuinely friendly and attentive plus show exceptional service. If you search for a quiet spot in paradise that feels like home, I would definitely recommend giving this place a go.

We loved EVERYTHING about this place :) The Fairy-tale Avatar 2-like turquoise ocean & mountain views from all over the resort, the delicious food, attentive welcoming & fun 5*+ service, the tranquility, the nature, the beautiful landscaping, the high-level gym, the long infinity pools, our villa was stunningly designed, super clean & comfortable throughout, and much more. Even better it's all done sustainably - so important these days - no single use plastic, refillable shower products, bamboo toothbrushes, free cold & hot water dispensers in your villa and throughout the resort, as well as on site recycling, food grown on site with permaculture!, soil regeneration projects & solar energy. Wifi is excellent, showers are great. The main beach is a gorgeous bay with beautiful soft white sand, some great dining spots and gentle waves - yet still has a very remote feel. You can see buffalo trekking calmly down the beach at the right times. We were so impressed with this place in so many ways, we'll definitely be back - among other things I got fitter, healthier, more relaxed and mentally clear every day I was there. 6 stars :)

This property had the best view I have ever seen. Set on a high point the view of a beautiful bay with a lovely crescent beach only gets better at night when the shrimp fishermen turn on their lights and you are seeing stars above and below you. The interior of the villa was exceptional as well. Great bed, great pillows, excellent shower and comfy seating inside and large outdoor area with your own private pool. We ordered a lovely meal delivered to our room ( I recommend the coconut mojito ) because we didn’t want to leave it. The next morning we had a huge ( included ) breakfast at the restaurant that was excellent and freshly prepared ( not your usual buffet ). If you are searching for an experience that combines the benefits of a private home with the amenities of a hotel, yet want to be off the beaten track away from other large groups of other tourists, this is for you! Set on a mountaintop amongst lush hills, along a dirt road that winds through rustic local villages, this resort towers over the majestic bay that is home to the famous, family friendly beach, Selong Balanak. We were a family with two young children aged 3 and 5 and we stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. The views were to die for! Both during the day but equally during the night when the stars were out. The kids loved the small dipping pool (supervision is a must). From the moment of airport arrival to drop off, the service was of a very high standard. (The daily dishwashing service was unexpected but appreciated!) Special shout out to Muti at the restaurant who looked after our every need and also Intan who took care of our children one day. One piece of advice, not only for here but across Lombok, is to be very clear in your communication when requesting things, not only because of language differences but also because of cultural differences, eg the concept of veganism is fairly new (and possibly bizarre here?) We had one issue with the hot water running out one day but after reporting it in the afternoon it was already fixed when we got back into the evening. There is a restaurant across the street, a 25m pool, and a gym was well equipped and felt like new. Overall we were very well impressed with the standard of the accommodation. It felt exclusive yet well catered for and we can't wait to come back!!
