Yesterday we had a lunch with friends at de Gouden Molen and we were disappointed about the quality of the chicken saté. We informed the waitress and she would pass on our comments to the cook. Unfortunately we did not receive any answer from her, neither from someone else. It was not very crowded, so that could not be the excuse. It is strange that they did not come with a feed back nor when we paid the bill!

Simple hotel but well organised and clean with all necessary facilities and comfortable rooms. Possibility to store your bicycle in a separate building. Large private car park next to the hotel. Very friendly and competent staff. Excellent price-quality-ratio. We had a very good dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Limited menu but good quality food and drinks for a more than reasonable price. The restaurant is small so a reservation is recommended. Unfortunately it is not possible to charge e-bikes in the building where the bikes can be stored.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel dove si respira la vera Olanda, camere comode e silenziose colazione ottima, variegata e con prodotti locali vegetariani e non. Si possono noleggiare biciclette e utilizzare lavatrice e asciugatrice, posizione strategica per visitare le citta' principali. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Sono stato con amici per una settimana in questo hotel brassrie. Le camere avevano l’indispensabile, confortevoli e con letti comodi. Da sottolineare che gli asciugamani venivano cambiati ogni giorno. Il cibo ottimo. Il proprietario è il suo staff sono stati di una gentilezza sopra le righe, accontentando le nostre richieste e facendoci mamgiare cose diverse e ogni giorno. Posto strategico perché vicino all’aeroporto di Eindhoven, con le principali città olandesi facilmente raggiungibili. Sicuramente da ritornarci

Vakantie is onder andere uit eten voor mij. Tijdens het varen via blokhutvaren.nl kwamen we langs het dorpje Kessel-Maren waar brasserie Oud Maren ligt. Ahoy restaurant in zicht! De brasserie vind ik typisch Brabants. Veel houtwerk, karakteristiek sfeertje en een gezellige vrolijke eigenaar die van een praatje houdt. Een leuk weetje-datje is dat de brasserie stamt van voor de T****e wereld oorlog. Destijds is de brasserie verwoest waarna het later weer is opgebouwd. Het eten is zoals verwacht. Veel, goed gebakken en heerlijk weg te eten met een goed glas huiswijn. Van het hotel dat aan de brasserie grenst, heb ik geen gebruik van gemaakt. Via een route door de natuur heb ik overnacht aan de kant van de Lithense Ham in de blokhutboot.
