The lodge grounds and rooms are beautiful. If you can, get a lodge on the dunes with the most spectacular veranda overlooking the reserve. The dinner was included and they were very accommodating to my vegan diet. The only reason for a 4 star rating is the lack of hot water. There was a gorgeous bath and shower in our room but the water was freezing (oh, and the pool was freezing too). Being part of a tour group, I know most of our group experienced the same thing with no hot running water. Please be aware this is a private reserve, so you are not seeing truly ‘wild’ animals

Wonderful place Great team always ready to help Campsite is perfect with electricity and private bathroom/wc + bbq and sites are far from each other, so you feel like being alone on earth Reception is at 5mn walk I booked the horse riding and this is a must do even for beginners + morning drive game Both times saw girafes, rhino, springboks, zebras and many other animals The guides were awesome

We spent one night here and it was very lovely. The chalets are nicely furnished and having a refrigerator was a big plus. The chalets were spacious and had a sitting area inside as well as outside. We went on an evening drive to see the feeding of the cheetah they had staying there. It was nicely done but very obvious that they were socialized to their care givers. There were kudu and oryx wandering around camp. The food was great and service excellent. They also had a very nice gift shop to purchase nicely made souvenirs.

This place gives you the wilderness, safety, freedom, red sand dunes, cheetahs 🐆, rhinos, best sunsets and more.. This has been a great experience and I will definitely come back. Friendly staff, engagement with management is really appreciated.

We camped at Bagatelle for one night. Directions were clear and we reached the lodge easily. We were met with very friendly and helpful staff. The campsites are well spaced from another, and well equipped with private bathrooms, water and basin, and shaded with enough trees. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

We had a great time, very nice people, great food, unbelievable landscape, special guests (Two Kuudus) at the pool and great camp sites with superb facilities. Cheetahs are very special two - especially the way they are treated is impressive! Overall a wow place

We absolutely loved, staying at Bagatelle Kalahri Lodges Campsite. Facilities and campsite were great, the scenery is amazing and the morning drive was a truly unique experience. We can definitely recommend staying here!
