We belong to the Choice Hotels rewards club and try to use one of their brands when traveling. This is the first time that I can remember being disappointed in a hotel under their brands. Realizing that Econo Lodge is one of their lesser quality brands, I had not expected a lot. The hotel looks nice from the outside and is very clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful in getting us registered. The room was clean. It was suite sized and had plenty of room. Bed was comfortable. The room did not have a hair dryer. There was a place for one on the wall. We asked for one, but it never came. There were no Kleenexs. They offered only coffee in the morning. No breakfast items of any type were offered. That may have been due to Covid concerns.

The hotel was comfortable. Check-in was smooth even at 2:30 in the morning.

We are 12 mile from Kennestone Hospital and White WaterAmerican Adventures. We are 1 mile from historic Marietta Square Lockheed MartinDobbins Air Force Base and within 5 miles of Life University Southern Poly Tech Chattahoochee Technical College and Kennesaw State University. Whitewater Adventure and Six Flags park tickets available for purchase at the Days Inn for the 2011 season. We are walking distance to Whitewater so you can save on the parking charge too. Truly world class service. Manager was so helpful & was great at every department. It was Kristy I believe who won our hearts, my kids still remember her - How friendly & helpful she was, she did even arranged for the Diapers in the mid night. I am surely coming back, it was truly a Marriott Experience with such economically priced Hotel.

The man who greeted us that night was RUDE! Couldn’t understand him thru the mask and got frustrated at US! He put us in a room close to the vending machines (which didn’t work!). Druggies were standing on the side of the building making drug deals and being SO loud! Then we walk into our room. It smelled SO strong of pot. The fridge was unusable because of how bad it smelled. The floors were DISGUSTING! My feet were literally black on the bottom. The sheets were scratchy. The bathroom was nasty with cobwebs galore. I should have read the reviews before we stayed.. we never would have. We just hoped we survived the night. The loud dealers right outside our window made it hard to sleep and the loud bass in the cars coming to buy were off the charts! Be smarter than me, read this review and don’t stay there!!!!

I wanted to try out Atlanta without committing to a lease so I thought that I would stay for 3 months at the Extended Stay. I was able to transfer my job and was looking to see which side of town I liked best and if I indeed wanted to live here permanently. After I checked in everything was fine until another family checked in below my room. The couple sometimes fight and they smoke ********* and cigarettes daily. I am at a non-smoking location. I reported each occurrence to the General Manager Kevin on duty. Each time I was told that he would talk to them and he said that he would give them one final chance 3 times. Finally he told me that he would have to catch them smoking the ********* but you can clearly smell it and that I should contact the police the next time that I smell it or hear the couple fighting. What kind of manager repeatedly lies to a guest and then suggest that they contact the local authorities??? Because I pay advance monthly and the fact that I receive packages here I cannot just up and leave. I have a lot of my belongings here with me and it is a great inconvenience to pack up and go to another location and I have to wait until my payment is due again because I cannot receive a refund if I decide to leave early. So I am here waiting to smell ********* or another fight so that I can contact the police. I also reached out to guest relations and described my dilemma but I called during the weekend and am waiting to hear back from them. I also called again but was on hold for over a half hour so I have to try again when I have free time. All of this could have been avoided if the hotel manager was strict on the policies. If I had known that this location was a place for ********* smokers to live and cause ruckus I would've picked another location. Avoid this place at all costs
