Two Seas Hotel

Honest review for Two Seas Apartments based on fact not opinion. Hotel is located about a 15 min walk from Blue Port Shopping Centre on the sea front. There is little nearby except a local shop, patisserie and chemist. But it's not loo long a walk from all other amenities. The bus No.2 (blue) stops at the end of the road and you can catch it into Marmaris centre which takes less than 10 mins. It's a circular route so just get back on at the same stop. The hotel room we stayed in was OK but it was tired. It consisted of 2 rooms and a bathroom. The door was opened with a 'tempermental' key (not card) with electricity being availble by card in a slot next to the door. There was a sign telling guests not to leave their card in if leaving the room otherwise an additional charge of £10 per night would be levied. The living room/kitchen area to cover basic self catering needs. 1 electric hob, toaster, fridge and utensiles. Crockery was enough for 4 people. There was a table with 2 chairs none of which were in the best of condition. The sofa's/beds had firm matresses, as did the 2 beds in the bedroom. All 4 of us staying in the room found the beds uncomfortable. The bedding was stained and this was not isolated to once, this was several sheets and pillowcases. The bedroom had 1 wooden wardrobe and no other storage except a nightstand. This had 1 drawer however we didn't use as the knob to open the drawer was missing. There is an air conditioning unit in the bedroom and the hotel charges £10 per night for its use. They monitor your switching it on and off. We turned it on for 2 hours to test it however although it cooled the bedroom it did not cool the living room. We found it to be ineffective so didnt use it again. The bathroom had clearly been refurbished within the last few years however now looks tired. The sink was on a metal stand which was rusted. Toilet was fine although underneath the toilet was dirty. The shower cubicle was grubby. The grout was dirty and not properly cleaned so I purchased some bleach which I used to clean the grout and it improved the smell and appearance. Towels provided were also stained in places. Again like the bedding this was more than once so not isolated. New towels are provided every 3rd day. Bedding is changed every 4th day. During our 11 day stay bedding was only changed once. The hotel give you 2 toilet rolls and guests need to buy their own if they need more. There is no drinking water available upon arrival so again guests need to be prepared to buy their own. There was no hand soap in the bathroom provided. There is a balcony off the living room which was an OK size. The door had 3 locks, one of which was broken. We stayed on the ground floor and during our stay were were visited by 2 cockroaches which I requested be removed by staff. Whether this is the norm for ground floor guests I can't speculate. This review is only my own personal experience. There is no safe in the room however the hotel has lock boxes

Just spent a relaxing 11 days at the Two Seas Hotel. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I had a great view from the room where the sun bathed the balcony from early til sunset. The food at the hotel was great. The location of the hotel was perfect for some great places to eat or drink if you wanted to do something different. I plan to go back to the same hotel next year. We went on a family/girls trip with our children. Out of everyone only I could not get a room in another hotel so I had to book two seas which was nearest to the apartments where rest of my family were staying at. Safe to say I got the best apartment. I paid for an apartment room but instead got a studio room as the bigger rooms weren’t available at the time. Due to the the downgrade I got given free ac, free wifi and free breakfast everyday. Second day I did get offered to change rooms to go to the room I actually paid for which was one bedroom apartment but I refused as I was happy with studio as it was only me and my little one. Rooms got cleaned every day, fresh towels and toilet rolls cleaned toilet/shower. I had no problems at all. My main worry was insects but I didn’t see any at all. If you have any questions you can easily WhatsApp Colin (the owner) and he replies fast with answers. The workers there are very kind and helpful. And the managers were also friendly and helpful. They have asked me not to mention names so I won’t but everyone was very welcoming. I felt safe travelling alone with my little one. I did get attached to lütfu though. Our beautiful little orange kitten. I miss him so much. He was my breakfast buddy every morning. I didn’t use the pool area but the pool did look small. There were no wars for the sun beds so everyone enjoyed. The only issue was my freezer door didn’t close so didn’t make any ice. But minor. Fridge worked fine. Tv worked great too. Two seas is in the middle of everything. 10 minute walk from the main shopping streets/blue port and also 10 minute walk to the beach. Nothing was too far, besides the airport. Google maps said 1 hr 45min but it took us 1hr to get to the hotel from airport and back. Good thing is not much traffic in Marmaris. If you’re shopping I would recommend to at least haggle to half price they are asking for. I have 0 complaints about two seas and I would definitely come back again. And I already spoke to the manager saying I will come back and I want the same room same everything. Keep in mind though there are no lifts in the hotel but they will happily accommodate you according to your needs. Push chair/stroller were left at the lobby and they were safe. There is a pool table in the lobby which you can play at certain times. There’s a bar where alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks you can buy. If you’re a Muslim keep in mind everything is not halal so make sure you ask before ordering anything. Two seas have been very kind and helpful to an anxious mother and i appreciate all they have done and making me feel welcome and safe. Thank you until next time.

Just come back from a week at this hotel and what a time we had, the hotel is clean and tidy also in a great location - the staff couldn't of been more helpful if they tried, very accommodating and friendly, already looking at coming back again as soon as!!

Excellent hotel great staff all friendly place is kept clean by everyone English owner Colin, also very friendly and helpful to one and all , had a great 3 weeks in October 2024, hope to Go back next year, thank you everyone, 10 out of 10 see you all soon

Wow, from the moment we arrived and are still here, what a great experience. We have been time and time again and have never stopped in a better place. EVERY single member of staff worth a mention. They are attentive friendly ( not overbearing like most places we have been ) and all in all good young lads. A special shout out for Ozzy the bar manager. What a lovely accommodating man. Always has time for you, very informative and absolute perfect English speaking. What could we say about the cleaners other than lovely and always available to support you. The rooms are in my humble view lovely, yes it took me a while to suss the shower. However over that now. Always warm water. The roo.s ideal for me and the misses. They are of a high standard and were ideal. The bar area has no thumping music so for once you can talk to each other as well as other guests. The pool area is ideal and well kept. The food is good and the bar prices are extremely competitive considering sometimes as a captive audience you sometimes are overcharged. Lastley what can I say about Colin the owner ? He is informative and the only English Hotel owner in Marmaris. He has taken time out to speak to us and has recognised the needs of my 86 father. All in all Colin thankyou to yourselves and your wonderful team. Please any one who is contemplating coming to Two Seas dont be put off by any negativity you may have encountered. Rest assured my experience has been nothing short of brilliant. Cheers all ro on next June
