Riad Vendome & Spa

We had the best experience at the riad. We were a group of four girls and felt incredibly welcome by the staff. We would like to thank especially Naima and Mohamed for their kindness as well as all the members that made our experience so safe and lovely. Also they prepared us some of the best tea we ever tried :) We know where to return when we go back to Marrakech!

We booked Riad Vendôme for a Hen do party in Marrakech for 20 girls. The riad was the perfect place to celebrate Lila's hen weekend and we hope to be back. Thanks Naima and Mohamed for this wonderful time.

We stayed in riad vendome for 2 nights in March and was a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect and thanks for the moroccan team to the attentive service !! In a great area closed to the main souk, and a few minutes walking distance for main the square. The manager, Naima, was superb and made us feel safe at all times; by making sure we understood the culture of the Medina. The night time manager was also great and greeted us ! A very comfortable stay, with Spa and jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace! Thank you so much ☺️

The property is at first hard to find as its inside the alleyways . we need to ask the locals to show us the way . Riad is very basic . We stayed in aurika suite .small room for the 4 of us . there is no kettle or microwave , airconditioning not working sometimes . the toilet dont have doors just curtains . Small pool too cold to swim . Breakfast we did not have it as it was only bread and cereals . The staff are very friendly and ready to help all the time . On check in we are welcomed with morrocan tea which is really nice .

Not honest... Booked via ***********, got a confirmation and all looked good. Shortly after got a Whatsapp message from Eric, see screenshot, saying I can get a discount if I cancel with *********** and book direct. Preferred the safety of a confirmaed reservation with *********** so left it and was prepared to pay more for the peace of mind, that and alarm bells started ringing. As I had left it this obviously upset them as they were probably expecting me to cancel and go direct so they said my credit card would not pre-authorise and that if I did not update with another my booking wouod be cancelled. Updated my card with another and shortly after received another email from *********** sayong my card had been declined again... This being a card we had used while travelling the work for six months and had never ewver had a problem with it. Contacted *********** to let them know what was going on, lady was fairly helpful, not much resolved other than I asked her to seee if she could canel our booking, which thankfully she was able to and we will be going elsewhere. So be careful with these guys... I was in the hotel industry for 23 years and have seen and heard of these sorts of scams before. Main one being the overbooking, whereby hotels overbook then do everything they can to cancel your booking because they are receiving more money form nother client so boot you out. Usually they should book you to a similar or better hotel but this is often not the case. The credit card pre-auth is a classic ploy to be able to book you out. SOmetimes they will even book you out to another hotel wheree they get a better deal on it so they are even making money on your book out. Can't say for certain but this all felt like a bit of a scam and glad we cancelled. *********** you really need to do something about these guys as they have obviously done it before, judging by another guests experience, and will definitely be doing it again.

Lovely riad. Very friendly staff, they were lovely with especially our children (7&4) Thank you for a wonderful stay!

the one star is for the wonderful staff at the riad who deserves a 4-5 star on their own.. the owner is a bit shady as he cancelled my *********** reservation the day BEFORE we checked out - we had been staying for four days already- all so he doesn’t have to pay the commission at ***********. the riad is cute but sound travels from one room to the other easily. we were going to leave a positive review w some areas to improve - but then the entire scam of cancelling our reservation happened.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au sein du Riad Vendôme à Marrakech. Le riad est très bien situé à 2 pas de la rue des Antiquaires qui nous mène à la Place Jemaa El Fna. Le personnel est très sympathique. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli à l'arrivée par Naima et son excellent thé à la menthe. Notre chambre disposait de tout le confort nécessaire et la grande terrasse en Roof top était fort agréable pour y déguster de succulents plats marocains: les tajines et le couscous sont extras. Nous avons également profités des services de gommage et des massages: hyper relaxants, un vrai bonheur!!! Ce n'est pas notre première visite au Maroc mais nous avons aimé ce riad pour sa grandeur, les terrasses sont très spacieuses et permettent à chacun d'y trouver un espace pour s'y relaxer et prendre un bon bain de soleil. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Nous avons passés 4 nuits dans ce très beau Riad. Le séjour a été parfait. Très jolie chambre, beau riad avec une terrasse au dernier étage. il est bien situé! Naima et l'ensemble de l'équipe sont très agréables et à l'écoute. Naima nous a préparé un excellent diner!! le petit dejeuner est également délicieux. Encore merci! Bertrand, Clémence et Victoire
