The location was good next to the train station and CTM bus station allowing for quick access.
Opera Plaza and Red Hotel are the same giving and checkin is handled by Opera which was quite strange! In terms of service, most staff members I encountered were overly rude and arrogant, with barely any acknowledgement of being a paying customer. This was very disappointing. Cleanliness was adequate considering the price, with plaster from renovations being all over the room and shower, care had obviously not been taken, which was not a good impression at all. The amenities were generally good, with a great pool and gym, as well as access to a bowling alley, something I’ve never experienced before at a hotel! The food was very overpriced and drinks were extortionate, even for Europe pricing so I would recommend that you eat elsewhere, there are plenty of options in close proximity. The WiFI was also very poor cutting in and out regularly throughout my stay. All in all I was disappointed, but for a 1 night stay the hotel was perfectly adequate.
