Agriturismo Il Giardino di Vigliano

I highly recommend a stay at I’ll Giardino di Vigliano. The rooms are comfortable, super clean and the decor is lovely. We had a view of the sea and Vesuvius outside our window. Surrounded by lemon trees, this quiet and peaceful agriturismo is a perfect base for day trips to Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi and Positano. You can tour the lemon farm and relax on the veranda overlooking the sea if you need a break. Luigi and Valentina and their family have lived here for generations. They are wonderful and friendly hosts. The food is incredible, all meals are available on site and you will taste local dishes and fresh local fruit and produce. Try the cream limoncello made on site - better than anything you get in the stores!

I recently returned from spending three wonderful nights here with the I Italia tour group out of Furman University. The Nunziata family welcomed us into their lovely home surrounded by the lemon trees. We learned about the farm operation and so much more. We were treated to lemon infused meals and also learned how to make our own pizzas. We were made to feel like one of the family in this very special magical place.

Be careful of the property’s fraudulent practices. Booked / paid for a quadruple camellia room but the staff cheated and shortchanged us to a smaller Capri room - saying that Capri was a quadruple room. Didnt have a choice but to take it as we came in after an exhausting drive. Post taking up with *******, they lied to them saying that I have personally preferred the smaller Capri - something very illogical when we were a family of three. The path to the property is very narrow and uphill - medium sized cars will have issues.

Please see my earlier review below - two bookings for two days gives me ability to write a second review and counter the blatant lies of the management. 1. What I booked vs what they got me into. I had booked Ortensia (Triple) and Camelia (Quadruple) and what they got our family of three into was Capri (Double). No Hydrangea involved - if the form allows images, happy to post that! 2. Capri is not Quadruple as they state below or Triple - they are contradicting what they have listed on ******* itself :-) 3. Even worse, they change their story every time - ******* contacted them to probe the matter and they gave them a different story than below. I have that version in email from ******* and would be happy to post as well. @******* - you have the version they told you and you have what they state below in response to my feedback - please take action. Net-net, the property (citrus farm) and views are fantastic but really wish the management stayed true to what the customer paid for. It is sad to see old businesses like theirs fall for tactical gains. It does hurt me to write this feedback as I had great experiences at similar Agriturismos across Italy and would continue to stay at such !

Gorgeous and peaceful. Such a lovely getaway.

I was at this beautiful location last year but had been there twice before and am going again next month. I am an artist/instructor and I take a group of students to this location - it is incredible! The Nunziata family are so generous, kind, helpful, fun and the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrive, you know you are creating a very special memory. It is the most authentic place in Italy that I have ever stayed, due to the fact that the property has been in the family for hundreds of years ( I have been to Italy 14 times). Your senses are saturated the second you arrive and walk the long 'tunnel' underneath the pergola of the lemon grove to the main house which is about 400 years old. The vista from the upper terrace of the bay of Napoli with Mt. Vesuvio in distance is breathtaking. The food, the wine, the company, the laughter ... and the comfortable rooms !!! This is one of my most favourite places on earth! -Michelle - Canada.

This was a wonderful experience learning how to make Limoncello and tasting all there verity of their lemon baste produce and the lunch was excellent and the host was very friendly knowledgeable and attentive We where picked up so get in touch via Facebook and they will pick you up

We had a great time , beautiful special place with an incredible view. Room was warm simple humble but has everything you need. The place is very close to Sorento and Amalfi coast . Hospitality was outstanding , breakfast and dinner were amazing !
