Very comfortable room, in a quiet and relaxing spot of Matheran. Delicious food and above all very friendly and serviceable staff! Our stay was lovely, we even extended it for two more nights without any issue. The hotel staff was always ready to help us with any inquiry. The room was large and with all necessary things.

All over experience was good but the nonveg food we expected was not that good. Recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel, and i must say, it was a truly 5-star experience! from the moment i checked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to my every need. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The amenities and services were top-notch, and the hotel's attention to detail was impressive. My stay was not only enjoyable but also truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

Radha's Cottage is a lovely retreat, very well located at the end of the road in Matheran. It's a simple place, furnished largely with period furniture. The food is outstanding - the best I've had in 6 weeks of traveling in India. For those who are unfamiliar with Matheran as I was, a couple pieces of information: - The ”toy train” runs very infrequently. Be sure to get a schedule if you plan to take it from the parking. - It's a 4.5km walk from the train station near the parking to Radha's. Don't believe the stationmaster if he tells you it's a 20 minute walk, it's an hour's walk. - It's still another 1.5km from the train station in the village to Radha's. If you've got a bag it's probably a good idea to get some help from a porter. - Sometimes the electricity goes out. When we stayed, these outages were brief, just a minute or 2. - Sometimes the water in the bathroom is dark brown. This surprised us one morning. It's dirt, and cleared during the course of the day.
