Absolutely abismal, horrible experience, from whatever aspect, name it. Food horrible. Rooms shabby and outdated. Internet wifi patchy - unusable. When asked for a router, they said yes, then 6 hours later nobody supplied. Telephone rung during my DND time. When I called reception, no reply (several times), ten tried to call : room service, switchboard, manager on duty, emergency - NO REPLY ON ANY NUMBER! When I finally got a connection at the reception, and complained that my phone rung as it did during my rest, lady at the reception said that I am lying, and that nobody called. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH TREATMENT FROM HOTEL STAFF IN 30+ YEARS TRAVELING WORLDWIDE. False advertising - they claim to be multiple star hotel while ONE STAR they have had until recently, has been removed by the ministry of tourism of Saudi Arabia - now ZERO stars hotel, which is appropriate. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Huge hotel, huge rooms. Excellent and gorgeous buffet both for dinner and breakfast with all kind of food - oriental and western. Nice garden and large parking. Good quality-price although a bit outside of center but providing more quietness.

The hotel is a bit outdated but it compensates it with the quality of service and flexibility of their staff. As Titanium Elite, I was upgraded to a suite. Breakfast had a variety of food to choose from. The shuttle runs at fixed times 5 times a day. Would be better if the frequency is double to allow more flexibility on when to go to Haram pr return back from it.

Overall a really poor visit to a hotel that should be a lot better. Wifi exceptionally slow, drops out in rooms. Generally, only works in lobby. No good for such ah a big hotel Breakfast really poor. Hot food left out in open unheated metal trays was stone cold, never heated all the time we were in the room. None of the cold stuff was chilled either by ice or electrically, so was coming up to room temperature. Coffee machine inadequate for a 5-star hotel, let alone a small café, didn’t work and kept jamming. Too many waiters running round looking busy but not serving anyone. The breakfast room looked like a conference room with some covered trestle tables. Like the real restaurant was being refurbished and this was temporary, but apparently not. Biggest problem is the lack of sound insulation if you get a room with connecting doors. No noise insulation at all means that it feels as if they are in the room with you and with a family in the next room, you get no rest. Rooms are dated but generally comfortable but the electrical fittings are very old. Don’t expect a brisk shower to wake you up as it really is just a trickle of hot water. Passed all on to staff but they don't seem bothered.

This is definitely a very poorly run. Hotel that should be rated it at the most one or two star. Right from the check-in all the way to the checkout everything was not right. It is extremely old it is very poorly run. We are Bonvoy elite, and were treated essentially like garbage.the food and the breakfast was terrible. They were rude to their guests. I was here with my family at an international meeting. The food in the breakfast was terrible. They were rude to their guests. I was here with my family at an international meeting, and everyone was complaining. All the way from the AV system in the meeting to the food to the service was terrible. I highly recommend that you do not go to this hotel. It should be not listed as a Lim meridian as it does not leave the expectations of Bonvoy members. I would highly suggest that Bonvoy take their name away from this very bad hotel. The manager Mr Moatsem was unhelpful, and could not rectify any of the issues that I raised with him. He was essentially useless, and did not help his staff at all. His front desk staff were essentially lying and rude the entire time. You will be very unhappy at this hotel.

more upscale than other hotels we stayed at on our trip. Prophet's Mosque across the street, quiet location, somewhat blah foyer but lovely wall murals. Room was nice enough. Staff, women, were lovely while some of the men near the restaurant were outright unfriendly. Buffet choices good.

A cavernous hotel with many function rooms, it’s own mosque and a soaring reception atrium. It seemed very quiet for its size. Our room was very pleasant, it had a bath which is always a plus for us and the open window looked onto some trees with a cacophony of bird calls at dusk when we arrived. Comfortable bed and soft pillows. Breakfast was in a small dining room off an enormous (empty) one, which wasn’t at all obvious. The buffet was good.

The hotel was good, a bit old but good. The local Saudi staff were excellent, polite and happy to help. the rooms were spacious & clean, the reason I am giving an average rating is coz, I stayed in the hotel for 3 days, day 2 I took my car from the parking, realised that I forgot something in my room parked my car in front of the lobby, there were 2 cars parked in front of me, I got off my car rushing in to go to my room but off all the guests who had parked their car in front. one employee ( Indian maybe), stopped me ( only me) & he just ordered me to take my car & park it in the parking lot. I explained to him that I was a hotel guest, and my room no was 420, but he not even listening to me. shook his head & signed me with his hands that I was not allowed to park in front of the lobby. there were 4 people walking with me who parked their cars in front of me & they were not stopped by this particular employee ( if felt racially abused coz I was a foreigner with brown skin ). I went back to my car & parked it in the car park & went on with my work. the last day of checkout, I went out got my car in front of the lobby again & was in the reception doing my check out as soon as I cleared the bill & was waking towards my luggage the same employee called me from his concierge station & say to me you are not allowed to park your car in front of the lobby this time I was furious but kept my temper in control & spoke to him quietly warning him that " I am a hotel guest & he has been seeing me from day one, it would be easy for me to complaint against him but he may lose his job coz of being racist. be a person of love not hate, he did not apologise for his behaviour to me." Marriot has to vet out its employees & employ more qualified people for the jobs. just because of this one racist person, I am giving an average rating but the hotel was good. next time I am skipping this hotel.

Hotel is good, quote far from Haram, you need to wai long for the bus as it can only move on some fixed time slots only, i paid for 2 people breakfast but once i already paid online via credit card, at hotel they told me Breakfast only covers for 1 person, thats an upset situation when you are along with family.

The hotel isn't very close to Masjid El Nabawi but offers a frequent shuttle service which was good. the rooms were clean, nice and spacious. the staff were nice and helpful. I visited during the month of Ramadan so I can review the Suhoor which was nice and varied.
