Hotel Mellieha dengan Bar

An enjoyable weekend break at Solana. The place is well positioned in the center of Mellieha to explore the town, v. nice view from the rooftop (attached a pic) that they also highlight as instagram-worthy. I rated the location 4/5 because of the relatively minor difficulty to find close-by parking as you need to be careful due to limited hours, but I learnt after that the hotel offers limited parking spots against payment. Cleanliness and service both rated an excellent 5/5. The facilities were good, again they didn't merit a 5/5 only because of a couple of small issues: you can experience a relatively long wait for the 2 lifts (used by guests and staff) at peak times since the hotel consists of two connected buildings, the gym needs a spruce-up as the multi-use machine needs a good oiling and the treadmill's arm cushions easily came unstuck, and the rooftop pool water was slightly murky on Sat afternoon and Sun morning. Other than our studio apartment was a comfortable fit for a family of 4, that included a well-equipped kitchenette that we used on the second night when the kids fancied an evening in after a long day. And nice to see once again the old-school complimentary sewing needle and thread, as well as a good sized bathtub. Tea and coffee freebies were present in abundance in the room. Breakfast was delicious and they certainly got the bacon, sausages, eggs, pastry and yogurt right. All in all, a well-priced worthy consideration if you're staying in Mellieha.

Hotel was in a really good location in Mellieha - right next to the bus stop if you want to travel, plenty of really good restaurants around like Villager, and a decent enough spot if you like a bit of coastal hiking, as I do. One minor complaint is that the shower gel/shampoo is dreadful, just water with some green gloop - bring your own if you want to feel clean!

Terdapat kolam renang percuma dan pelbagai sarapan. Persekitaran agak lengang, biasanya makan malam hanya dimakan di hotel, bufet untuk 18 euro seorang, sangat dekat dengan pelabuhan utara, sesuai untuk ke Comino dan Gozo

Home from home a beautiful place to relax. Good food lovely scenery. Hotel very clean service excellent. We have been coming every year since 2008 and have booked again for 2024 (apart from pandemic restriction) Good poolside amenities, children's club and a private beach to name a few.

Everything was excellent. Fantastic place. Very kind staff and helpful. Food was excellent and plenty of choices. We celebrated our birthdays so the receptionist surprised us with extra upgrades. Special thanks to Henrik and the whole team of Ben's. Highly recommended the place and the atmosphere as well.

Great location if like near beach with bus stops 2 minutes walk from hotel. Nice walk (long 4km and uphill) along the beach and up past the red tower with great views of Gozo to the north and lovely coastline to south. The hotel has warm indoor pool beautiful rooftop pool (little windy at the moment but good view across bay and up to well lit church. Great bar downstairs good deals also. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Meals good at reasonable prices (cheaper than outside restaurant). Gym has easy to use equipment for a good workout. Room was well equipped and clean, my only con was TV was a little small and selection of channels was minimal. Highly recommend. Will go back again

Приветливый персонал. У меня был только завтрак. Он был разнообразный. Комната была очень стильной. Вид с балкона на залив. Очень спокойноСначала была другая комната, окна которой выходили тоже на пролив моря, но внизу была дорога и довольна шумная. Очень рекомендую этот отель.

Super hôtel en général, pour le prix que j'ai payé. Nous étions deux pendant 4 nuits en fin mars. Points positifs : l'emplacement, le petit-déjeuner, la diversité des restaurants, la carte des cocktails, le personnel. Points négatifs : piscines extérieures non chauffées, terrasse du restaurant principal fermée, la chambre était pas très chaude et le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas du tout. Le principe des restaurants n'est pas trop mal mais il faut réserver, ils ne sont pas tous les soirs ouverts et surtout la nourriture reste basique et les plats se ressemblent beaucoup. Il n'y a que le restaurant principal d'ouvert le midi et n'est pas très varié.

The hotel is beautiful, perfect location and overall it was a great stay with amazing views. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. However the down sides were that the pool was ice cold, the bar is only open 6:30pm-10pm - so I was unable to get a drink or snack during the day by the pool. The mattress wasn’t ideal (felt all the springs) and I could hear everything going on in the hotel from my room at night. It’s a shame because everything else was great hence the 4 stars I have given VIU57!

We had a friendly welcome from Borislav on reception. The hotel was immaculate. The cleaner worked so hard, and it really showed. I loved the room which overlooked the Square. The setting was so beautiful, right next to Mellieha Parish Church. There was always something going on at the church and in the square, which was fantastic, but despite it being a lively area, the room was quiet. The pool was small but stunning, and we regularly went on to the terrace on floor 3 to watch the world go by. Breakfast in the Square restaurant was top-notch. I rarely say I want to go back to a hotel, but I really want to go back to Doms. This is a gem of a hotel in a beautiful setting.
