We stayed here for two weeks 13th - 27th in room 3143, 4 adults 1 child. The apartment was very gloomy and outdated. Definitely in need of a refurb. There was a disgusting amount of mould in both bathrooms and the walls were covered in it. I would be very careful of the showers as the pressure was so hard, it bolted off and hit my 70 year old dad on the nose. He blacked out a little and couldn’t stop the bleeding. We asked reception for first aid, and they said they didn’t have any! What hotel can’t provide basic first aid!? They told us that we had to walk 10 mins to the pharmacy which was closed! And Even after all this they didn’t even sort out the shower pressure. Very disappointed at how my dad was treated by the hotel, and lack of compassion. Cleaners came in every day to ‘clean,’ make the beds and change the towels. Bedding was supposed to be changed twice a week, however ours weren’t even changed once. When we complained to the reception they came and put a clean sheet on the sofa that we wasn’t even using? This clearly needs to be addressed as seems as though the cleaners can’t get out quick enough. We paid for half board last minute which we thought was best as there was no oven in the apartment. The hotel was notified of my severe nut allergy before we arrived. However pretty much every meal contained nuts. The ham, cheese, butter etc even had walnuts on top as ‘decoration’ ? To say I had to have my epi pen close by is an understatement. So the food was pretty limited for me. I couldn’t eat any of the desert as this all contained nuts aswell. My partner is a vegetarian, and even though they state vegetarian options available, this is not really true. Apart from chips, pizza and salad that’s all you’re getting. The pizza was also either very cremated or severely undercooked. There was no in between. The meat was also always overcooked. So it wasn’t great. Drinks weren’t included which I think is an absolute rip off! They had coffee, juices and water in the mornings included but not for dinner? All they had was tap water, which was actually filthy on one night! Although I must say that the dining staff always worked their best and were very friendly. The bar staff were also very kind. The entertainment I think was the worst thing about the hotel. I felt like I was in a ‘retirement/care home’ it was sooo boring and a few times I actually nearly fell asleep. There was nothing catered to children although the hotel states there is a mini disco. Well there definitely wasn’t. They had acts on at 9.30 for about 40 minutes. There was one act, the samba dancers which were good and actually interacted with the audience. Other than that I don’t know how they can call it entertainment if I’m completely honest. The pools were nice, quiet and relaxing. The main pool at the palace had music but I felt as though it should have been louder as you could barely hear it. The other pools had no music, not even at the bar.. The location was

lovely staff, friendly and helpful especially Alexandria. made us feel very welcome. Dining room was always clean, and food replenished regularly. apartments spacious. excellent bus service and numerous taxis to explore other areas , would definitely visit again

Forget all the negative reviews! Yes the rooms are a bit dated but they are clean (and are cleaned daily), the beds are comfortable and there is everything you need. I did need a corkscrew for a bottle of wine but one request to reception and 2 hours later they delivered a brand new one to my room (1009 if anyone needs to borrow it). I believe the hotel is recently under new management and we only paid around £60 a night. I'm sure the price will go up as this gem is discovered by more people so I'd book fast if I were you! The area is beautiful. You have 4 pools to choose from and a beach all within 2 or 3 mins from the accommodation. There is a bar selling snacks and drinks by the main pool at reasonable prices (4.50€ for a pint and 4€ for chips) and also a bar on the beach (not owned by the hotel) that also sells drinks and snacks.(5.50€ a pint) Entertainment is good, hotel restaurant is also good (buffet style) and reasonably priced, (16 euros for adults, 11 for kids) however they do have limited child options if you've got a fussy eater like I have!! No chicken nuggets or pizza so he had chips, pasta, bread rolls and his own weight in ice cream!! I had paella, spicy potatoes and some tapas but they had a wide range of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes available. The staff are all incredibly friendly and hard working although did smirk kindly at my clumsy attempt at Spanish... I'll get better!! A special shout out to Alexandra who was very kind and helpful. She speaks 6 languages so I didn't even attempt my Spanish with her!! Overall my son and I are having a lovely time and plan to bring the rest of the family next time.

Overall the establishment is a work in progress since new management have taken over. However, £ for £ it’s absolutely great (commenting as a family with young children). Kids Club: Natalia is excellent & makes all kids feel welcome. Although it’s a small space they have engaging activities and a clean environment to play in. Pools: Good choice covering the 3 hotels in the complex. Castle pool lovely for toddlers. Larger slide available also in Caleta apartments. 3 large pools to choose from. Lifeguards on hand. Didn’t experience any sunbed challenges at peak of summer. Food: Easy choice, just go B&B. Dinner is deserted for a reason. Breakfast sets you up for the day with an abundance of choice. A couple of good restaurants within easy reach - turn right from main reception. Rooms: Basic but really well serviced each day. We had a 2 bed with 2 bathrooms, very spacious. As other reviews have stated… we have had worse air con in 5 Star resorts - no issues keeping cool here! Beach: Easy to access and crystal clear waters with fish happy to nibble on your feet! Beach bar also available. Top tips: Pay cash in taxis for short distances. Minimum fare is 7.50. Visit Diskont Supermarket to do big shop -20 minute walk - 5 mins cab. Bring a spachelor & a wooden spoon! In conclusion - this place will probably be double the price in 24 months - book it now, manage your expectations & you’ll be assured of a bargain.

This complex has so much potential. The staff were friendly, there were a lot of cleaners around, doing the best that they could. The room was very dated but served its purpose. People were in one of the swimming pools until midnight making a lot of noise. The pools need updating and a thorough clean. There weren’t enough sun beds around each pool, the sun beds were grubby and broken. I wouldn’t say this is a 4* hotel, more like a 2* as it is in need of a good renovation.

We have just got back from here. We had such an amazing time. We had a couple of issues with our key card and the hob but they were sorted out within 15 mins or reporting them. All the staff were lovely and it was cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and towels. We would recommend to anyone to come her. Great family self catering apartment.

Having read some rather negative reviews we were pleasantly surprised with how we found the Vibra Blanc Cottage. The accommodation was basic but had everything you needed. The appartment was clean and our beds were made every day. Towels were changed after a couple of days. We had a sheltered terrace which we used when it was windy on a couple of days. We were very close to the swimming pool at Vebra Blanc cottage. Close to a small beach, with breathtaking sunsets a stone throws away. The food was absolutely fine. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The omelets Carlos made were very good. Martin was alway very cheery and very helpful as was David. The evening entertainment was good with a variety of shows to watch during our week away. The entertainment staff were amazing with the children making sure they enjoyed their holiday, and keeping them happy and amused. All in all we really enjoyed our break away.

The hotel needs a bit of attention,our card key for the room wouldnt work on numerous occasions,had to keep going to reception for someone to sort out.The kitchen door was hanging off and was held on by a large screw and the top cupboards didnt meet properly.there was mildew behind the kitchen sink and the corner of the worktop(not nice ).The shower had water running down the full length of the bath tub and flooded the floor on a few occasions and we had to place the shower head low down to stop this happening,simple things that could be sorted and dont know why they weren't.On a good point the beds were comfy and pool was good.
