Super, el Hotel esta en mejor sitio, muy limpio, con vistas espectaculares, con gran piscina, buena comisa. y muy agradable personal.

Great hotel, great location, good service. The hotel is perfectly situated for a short walk to the heart of Mahón (10 min), with a beautiful view of the water. My first floor room had a cute balcony overlooking the water. The hotel was clean and modern with a decent sized room and all the amenities you would need, including a bar, restaurant, spa, pool and fitness room. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was the only thing I felt was below value. For 27 Euro, while there was a large enough food selection, it was disorganized and not a great experience. They kept running out of food items, plates, utensils, etc. I rather preferred walking to a local bakery for a croissant and coffee. Great overall stay though!

My Wife And I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Alfons at the start of September. From the moment we arrived it had that homely feel. The Reception Staff were particularly friendly and helpful with their advice on places to visit. The food was excellent with a varied menu each day. We wanted a Hotel near to the Old Town. This place was perfect less than ten minutes walk and you were there. Thanks to Willy and his Staff who go us a memorable holiday

We're not long home from another amazing holiday at The ARTIEM Audax. I've taken a week to gather my thoughts to write this review. As always the hotel is a truly magical experience, from the minute you get off the shuttle bus you feel like ”you're home”. Having visited for many years, it's a credit to the management that the hotel improves every year, even though after each visit, you think it can't get any better. The Reception team. Headed by Emilio, are the first of many warm, friendly, courteous, professional and helpful members of staff to greet you, so you know it's going to be a great vacation. The Food. Absolutely incredible choices in both restaurants, with some of the best chefs you'll find anywhere. The vegetarian choices are amazing and each year get better, all under the watchful eye of Delmi and overall the wonderful Nuria. The View Cafe and the Blue Bar are well worth visiting, great choice of food/tapas, snacks and drinks, all served with care and professionalism from the wonderful Alex and his team. The Blue had live entertainment this year which seemed very popular. Sports. The new sports center manager LLuis took over this year, and has taken over the running of the sports with ease, he's a credit to the ARTIEM Audax family as his zest for life and sports are infectious, always working with a huge smile. Adri, Damian and the students were always there for advice on sea and cycling conditions. This October the seas were pretty rough for most of the holiday but that's mother nature, so roll on calmer seas next year. The gymnasium is modern and well equipped Andrea's Yoga. We've had the pleasure of having Andrea's Yoga classes for a number of years, she's an incredible Yoga teacher, always caring on your personal abilities but always giving you encouragement to ”take the next step” in your yoga journey. Also try her Aero Yoga on a Saturday morning. (A wee tip don't drink too much the night before) The Spa and Wellness. A must visit, the pools/water jets etc are incredible. We didn't use the steam or sauna this time but previously they have been fantastic. We spoke to a few people who had massages and they said they were incredible. House Maids. Again always smiling and hard working, they are a caring and proud group who take their jobs very seriously, when you see them in the morning just say Buen dia, you'll always get a warm smile, again they are a credit to the ARTIEM Audax family. The Maintenance team are very professional and hard working, again a credit to The ARTIEM Audax family. There are far too many names to mention in all sectors of the hotel, but they all know who they are, as every one of them are now like family. Each year we see more and more returning guests which speaks volumes for the quality of the hotel and the hotel management. Next years 1st visit is booked already.

I have to agree with almost everything that has been written about this hotel, yes it is kept in a spotless condition, staff are really friendly and overall a really well run hotel. Entertainment in the evening is low key and I would suggest is geared more towards the more mature guests without the usual annoying base vibrating around the hotel, likewise the music around the pool area is perfect. Sun beds always available around the pool and great to have a rule in the hotel ”no putting out towels and saving sunbeds” likewise no hanging towels and wet swimwear over balconies, this rule broken unfortunately by a minority of British guests!!. Plenty of choices of food in the hotel restaurant, but again in agreement with other reviewers at times the food could be quite cold. I would give the hotel a five star rating apart from one minor point.. The restaurant in the hotel is more like a works canteen which could be easily rectified with a little dimmed lighting and a few pictures on the walls to take away the clinical look that it currently has... If you like the sun on your room then I would suggest avoiding if possible rooms 234 236 and the rooms above or below those rooms as they get no sun whatsoever on the balconies. Apart from that I would recommend this hotel for a quiet holiday in a quiet location in Minorca.
