Hotel berhampiran Emiliano Zapata 1 Park, Merida

Es un hotel viejo con algunas remodelaciones pero no suficientes Problemas 1 las habitaciones son demasiado altas por lo que los minisplits instalados no tienen la capacidad para enfriar rápido y adecuadamente la habitación 2 los pisos son de mosaico de los años 60s 3 El baño está en alto más de 25 cms lo que lo hace riesgoso al salir de la regadera y subir a la tasa para adultos mayores 4 las habitaciones que dan a la calle se escucha mucho ruido en la noche y muy temprano por tráfico 5 No respetan las reservaciones por operador tal y como las hizo uno 6 El personal de recepción del turno matutino es despota y no tiene la mínima idea de lo que es atención al cliente y que un hotel vive del turismo 7 El hotel pertenece a una concesión o franquicia llamada Kavia a la cual pertenecen muchos hoteles de la ciudad de la cual se ve que no supervisan a los hoteles pertenecientes Definitivamente no recomendable mejor buscar otras opciones aunque no estén en el centro

This places is lovely. Understand, though, that some of the super old furniture is worn. I was there for a month and switched back and forth between two rooms. The first room was a standard double. (The room pics I provide are all of this room). It was a lovely room. The bathroom didn’t make sense though. It was the tiniest bathroom I’ve ever been in. The pic shows the sink and the toilet. Across from that, there’s a shower. the room above this one has the same configuration as the one shown, but the sink is outside of the bathroom, which makes the entry/sitting area of the room more pleasant. I chose not Ask to move upstairs because it’s also hotter upstairs than downstairs… and the bathroom configuration wasn’t that big a deal to me. The first room was overlooking Calle 60. It was a bit noisy on some nights. I actually preferred my smaller room to the bigger suite. Something about it just felt nicer. It needed more comfy dining chairs for the little tea table though. The second room I stayed in was a suite with two double beds. (I am not posting pics of that one because there are too many personal items in the pics I have of that room). It was the corner suite facing both Calle 60 and overlooking the park in front of the hotel. IT WAS NOISY. The second room had more light, More room, and a much better bathroom configuration (toilet and shower inside, sink outside the bathroom). It also had a couch and lounging Chair as well as much better (and much older) furniture. By “better” I mean beautifully worked, with more storage space/specialized storage. However, the floor in the second room (the suite) was really badly damaged over by the bathroom. So from the door the room looks pretty much perfect. Over by the bathroom it looks run down. And that’s just how this place is. That’s why I say it’s like staying in someone’s grandma’s house. Beautiful, comfy, clean, but it’s clearly been used. There are rooms that have newer furniture, but understand that this is an old hotel. ITS GORGEOUS but if you expect everything to be new looking, then don’t stay here. I think they are renovating, but I’m not sure. I hope that they keep the furniture and just have if restored as best as possible. They should also restore the broken tiles. IMO restoration of the tiles and professionally filling nicks in wood would do wonders for these rooms. If I were to give this place a review just based on the look of it I would give it a 4. 3 for the condition and 5 for the beauty and ambience. I am giving it a 5 for three reasons: 1. It’s just gorgeous, 2. It felt like was staying in someone’s home… very peaceful… inviting… comfortable and 3. The staff. Come to think about it, they probably are the reason the place felt so comfortable. They seemed efficient and were pleasant, helpful people. Kami berada di sini semasa Hurricane Delta. Perkhidmatan itu tidak konsisten. Wifi tidak berfungsi, dan tiada siapa yang mengambil berat sama ada untuk menukar bilik kami atau membaikinya. Secara keseluruhan bilik kelihatan bagus, dan ia selesa. Walau bagaimanapun, kami mungkin tidak akan memilih untuk tinggal di sini lagi.
