Ulasan Grand Mercure Minamiboso Resort & Spa

A grand hotel and resort indeed. Due to its secluded location, the hotel is only suitable for those who drive otherwise pretty stranded in this nice hotel but meals are quite costly even for Accor members. Rooms are perfect, so clean and new, and huge for our Junior Suite. Onsen is good and snacks and drinks are available during the afternoon and later in the evening. Attractions near the hotel are within walking distance. Sunset is awesome here.

It was excellent. I really appreciated the ride/transfer service. Both the phone and front desk staff were wonderful. The snacks in the lounge were delicious.

The chilled amazake in the post-bath lounge was absolutely delightful! My mother and I have already discussed coming back for a 3-day, 2-night stay next time. The food selection was extensive, and the surroundings were beautiful. Our sea-view room was spacious, and the hot springs were incredibly relaxing. After a good soak, a variety of refreshing drinks were available, making for an incredibly satisfying experience.

Great service and location…!

I opted for a Japanese-style room, though it seems the quality can vary. I went for the more affordable option, and it had a distinctly traditional ryokan feel, which might not be what you'd expect based on the modern impression of the front desk. Breakfast, in particular, was excellent.

They were very accommodating with my last-minute pickup request. It was a tremendous help. The service throughout my stay was also impeccable. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family. Our kids absolutely loved it and were very happy. Adults are sure to be satisfied as well. We'll definitely be back!

Given the low price, both the facilities and service were excellent. They smoothly accommodated our last-minute booking, making our trip very enjoyable.

Both the facilities and the lounge were superb, but given its popularity, it's best to be prepared for crowds.

Spacious room with 2 single beds + 1 sofa bed + 1 extra bed. We came in a rented car so there's no issue with location otherwise it could be an issue. There is a indoor playground so the kids enjoy it very much. Free flow of drinks during lounge hours are a plus.

Everything is nice and tidy. The bathroom is great. The hotel lobby makes feeling so relaxed.

It was disappointing that drink service wasn't provided in the lounge during the morning hours. We were informed it would be set up as a kids' space, but this service wasn't offered. The lounge sofas remained in the same arrangement as the previous day, and the lights weren't even turned on. I'm not asking for a basic water dispenser like those found in the public bath's rest area. However, if there had at least been a hot and cold beverage dispenser, it would have truly enhanced the 'all-inclusive' experience. I believe a chance to sit in the lounge, enjoy a cup of tea, and unwind for a while, either before or after checkout, would have added to the overall sense of relaxation. That was the only minor point I noticed. Please don't take this as a complaint; it's just an observation. I stayed here for a preliminary visit with the intention of bringing my grandchild, and I was pleased to find the room clean and the meals very enjoyable.

Located at the very end of the island, the hotel boasts a fantastic location and stunning views.
