We have got deluxe king bed for 2 days. No slippers, no microwave, no bathrobe. ****** blackjack tables using the same decks over and over. They have 2 decks per tables. However, service people are friendly. Katie's restaurant is really good, reasonable prices, great service. CV is expensive, but service is good. I recomend to try it

We were "greeted" at the front desk for check-in by Tyler, or as we called him Mr Personality. He never smiled, was very unpleasant and set a negative tone right from the start. If this is how Carson Valley Inn wants to wants its employees to represent them, they are in trouble. Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows were 1/2 the size of normal and the bathroom door squeaked very loud.

My Room was perfect. Ate at both restraunt’s downstairs and they were fantastic I also loved the coffee snack shop they made great hot chocolate and chili was awesome. Security staff was very helpful and had a great response when I had an issue and I felt comfortable ******** there at all hours. Best vacation during a holiday!

My family enjoyed the stay. Staff was helpful and responsive. The restaurant, Katie's, has a great menu and the servicec there is polite.
The only little bump in our time there was the room's heater. It was temperamental and we needed to ask for help 3/4 nights of our stay.

Heat/AC was loud. There was a musty smell in the room that wouldn't go away even after leaving the window open. Also what appeared to be bloody fingerprints on one of the pull rods for opening the curtains. Otherwise the room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice location. Steakhouse was good.

I wish I had found out about this hotel sooner. I have family in the area and some have been having health problems so I’ve been having to come up from the Bay Area frequently. Initially I was staying in hotels in Carson City, bouncing around different hotels trying to find one that was nice, clean, comfortable and convenient. None of the ones in Carson City were fitting the bill. Then I decided to give the Carson Valley Inn a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are nice, comfortable and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
