Amazing view of the ocean from our room - the property sits right in front of the ocean. From the verandah in front of your room, you can watch the waves the whole day, there is no need to go to any of the beaches in Mirissa. Breakfast was delicious too, and they even cooked the fish we caught (for a fee). However, don't expect the same creature comforts of an international 4 or 5 star hotel despite being priced higher. The furniture is also rather dated and the room was not very clean. Overall a decent and memorable experience.

What an amazing place to stay! There are only a handful of rooms and the service is fantastic! I recommend getting the half board and they will serve you your meals on your balcony outside your room, overlooking the beautiful view! How special! And the food was fantastic too! This is the perfect place if you want a quiet break away. You can laze on loungers on the lawn and probably have the pool to yourself. The beach is not good for swimming but you can get a tuktuk to the better part of the beach to swim if you prefer. We loved this place and would totally recommend it! Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip.

A really memorable stay for me. The villa is just so peaceful and well maintained. Staff are courteous and they take care of you really well. The food is great and the rooms are amazing. The bathrooms also very clean. (Had a leaking bidet in my bathroom though which should be fixed soon) The view from the room and the closeness to the sea is something you cannot imagine, it’s like your living on the sea. We moved to a big hotel post staying at this place and just did not enjoy the hotel as much, because we were missing staying at this villa as much! Book this villa for the maximum days instead of moving around hotels, all the nearby places(Weligama, Mirissa, Ahangama, Hikkaduwa) you can travel and come back within a day considering the proximity. Met the owner too, who is a gem of a person. Hope to come back soon

I’m lying on my sun lounger at this Villa whilst writing my review. Everything people say about this place is worth repeating. Only 5 rooms which are immaculate and spotless. When you arrive you are told that everything here is possible and to treat it as your home. Breakfast and dinner served on your balcony, on the grass area, by the pool anywhere you want. The staff are like Nijas they appear and disappear. The place is so clean and well tended to. They are a fabulous team, very kind, caring and attentive. I must touch on the food also, the grey mullet, the tiger prawns are to die for if you like fish. Come and experience how wonderful this place is, you have to like the sound of crashing waves 24/7 though but it’s better than traffic!!

We arrived after travelling around Sri Lanka, tired and feeling unwell recovering from a tummy bug. The staff immediately started to take care of us ensuring all our needs were met. Their conscientious and caring approach made our stay feel very personal, almost like having butler service. We had all our meals freshly prepared to our own personal satisfaction served on a table on the patio of our terrace. The room and pool were lovely and the view of the sea a short distance in front of us. Every day we sat watching turtles feeding at high tide and the surfers performing tricks, our daily entertainment. nearby there were a few nice bars and restaurants if you fancied a change. The area felt safe to explore and there were Tuk-tuks nearby if your needed.

From the moment I arrived until the time I left, I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service, warm hospitality, and incredible food preparations offered by the staff. The staff’s genuine friendliness and attentiveness made me feel right at home from the very beginning and I love the three little pups that live on site (I called them my sweet, little guard dogs). My room on the second floor was spacious and had amazing views of the ocean from my balcony. I love hearing the sounds of waves as I drifted off to sleep each night. The food preparations were a highlight of my stay. I was asked what I wanted for dinner each morning and staff would visit the local market to get fresh ingredients to make my dinners. I requested authentic Sri Lankan cuisine and the variety and quality of the food were exceptional and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful getaway

We had an amazing stay at Villa Oceane. It’s a very cosy, intimate hotel with amazing pool area overlooking the water. The staff were amazingly hospitable - we were made to feel very special and well looked after. It’s a brilliant place to stay to properly relax and it’s close to some nice bars and restaurants.

We had the most fabulous stay at Villa Océane in Mirissa, so much we extended our stay! The villa and room were beautiful, so peaceful with the view and sound of the sea. But above all the team was so amazing, so attentive and kind, and we were always welcomed with big smiles! They organised everything for us: a whale watching tour, day out in Galle, transfer to the airport etc. and always made sure had everything we needed. I wished we could have stayed longer, I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to end our travels in Sri Lanka. The delicious breakfast was served on the balcony in front of our room with view of the sea, a real treat! It's also ideally located away from the hustle and bustle, but only a few minutes walk away from nice cafés and the Dr's House and Polhena beach, and a 5min tuk tuk ride to Mirissa beach. You can also watch the turtles poking their heads out for air on the beach in front of the hotel, as well as the surfers, and beautiful sunsets. Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

Our stay in Villa Oceane was one of the reasons this trip is unforgettable to us! Its the best place to be if you wish to relax and party at the same time. Its a wonderful villa on the sea, with a great view, with such a peaceful environment. There are also plenty of places to walking distance - restaurants, bars, clubs. The staff of the villa is so kind, friendly, helpful and always willing to serve you whichever your desire is! The rooms are decorated in a traditional style, are clean and equipped with all the necessaries. The chef is excellent, doing all our meals - breakfast/lunch/dinner to be delicious, preferring staying at the villa instead of going to a restaurant in the nearby area. We were lucky to meet the owner of the villa too, who is a great person and treated to us really politely and discreetly during our stay. He also organized a surprise birthday party for me and made me feel so lucky for choosing his place for this day! We will go back for sure! Thank you, Foteini Foteini Eva Maria Gianna
