The absolute best thing about this hotel is the location. It's literally a 45 second walk from the Mito train station. The surrounding area has a ton of restaurants and convenience stores so food availability will never be a problem. The staff here is amazing and speak English very well to help out foreign travelers. I don't know why, but this is the dustiest hotel room I have ever stayed in on my 40 years of life on this planet. Please see the photos. I put my suitcase on the bed to unpack, and when I was I removed my suitcase and it was covered in dust. After the room cleaning was done, there is a layer of dust on many of the high touch areas. I just didn't understand how it could be so dusty. The ac in the room didn't work either. The thermostat shows it could cool the room down to 20C but it never got close. The coldest the room actually got was maybe 23 or 24C

偕楽園など観光地側とは反対なので、駅前なのに環境は静かです。部屋からの景観が悪いというコメントがあったので、旅行会社の予約時に「眺めの良い部屋」をリクエストしたところ、低層階ながら川原が望める快適な部屋で過ごせました。旅行比較サイトの一番安いツアーが大手Kツリのこのホテルプランでしたが、広さ十分、水周りは古く蛇口を捻ると唸るものの室内は綺麗に整えられ、アメニティやタオル類もビジネスホテルより一段上です。フロントで女性には基礎化粧品もいただけます。コーヒーもドリップ式のパックを自由に部屋へ運べるので、駅前の人気店で購入したケーキで寛げました。一日目は本当に大満足で最高評価を付けるつもりでしたが、深夜と早朝モーター音(自室同様、水関係？)で目覚めてしまったことと、掛布団に前の利用者の目立つ血液汚れが放置されていたことに気づき残念ながらポイントを下げました。事前にパッケージツアーはダブルの設定ながら、ツインを希望する旨を伝えたことに対しては、当日ホテル側のご好意で叶えていただき感謝しております。水戸はまだ楽しみたい場所がたくさんあるので、手頃なお値段でこのクオリティでしたら、日帰りせずまた宿泊させていただきたいです。

I went for a business trip for 2 weeks and the location and service was very good for a hotel very close to the train station. Breakfast was a ticket to a place in the station, it could looks a litter strange but offered a unique opportunity to try more place on the way for breakfast. Clean and quite!!

水戸で同僚と落ち合って宿泊するホテルとして利用しました。水戸駅北口から歩いて行けるにもかかわらず値段設定的に古いホテルだと想定していましたが、予想通りでした。でも、部屋は思ったより広くてそこそこ綺麗で、泊まるだけなら差し支えないでしょう。がっちり食べられる朝食も付いていて、ビジネス利用には向いています。駐車場が小さく、近傍のコインパーキングを利用する場合が多いと思いますので、注意が必要です。繁華街は近いのですが、ホテル内のレストランで夕食も済ませました、

The standards of the hotel, in terms of design, cleanliness & comfort amazed me and wife. Service from car park, reception to restaurant was really commendable. Breakfasts were meticulously served with first morning in Japanese set and the second in Western. I don't know how old the hotel is but the working and upkeeping condition of the interiors and fittings is superbly impressive and puts many newly opened hotels I had stayed to shame. For the price we paid, this is a really an unusually spacious hotel (room & public areas). During our 8 nights of travelling from Tokyo - Kusatsu - Minakami - Tokyo, this hotel was the best and we will highly recommend to anyone who visits Mito. My congratulation & praise to the staff and management of the Mito Plaza Hotel. Keep it up!

フロントの対応がよくて、案内も親切丁寧でとてもよいです。ウエルカムドリンクも色々あって、ウイスキーの水割りもソフトドリンクも好きなものを選べて、ゆっくり。くつろげます。大浴場も綺麗でゆっくり体を癒せます。朝食はバイキングで料理もドリンクも様々あって、とてもいいと思いました。何度でも行きたくなるホテルです。
