I have just returned from this hotel after a long weekend with 5 girlfriends. We honestly had the best time here. The staff couldn’t do enough for us…we were really well looked after. The room was bright, the beds comfortable with good pillows. Tea/coffee/water was provided in the room each day. Breakfast was exceptionally good…a vast selection of choices and great quality and well presented. We loved the friendliness of the locals and the bar was warm and welcoming. We ate here one evening and again the food was fabulous. A small selection of wines but they were great quality…and have obviously been well selected. I definitely recommend a stay here and have no doubt that I will return….

I stayed here as my partner was having his 50th in the city and as a treat i booked this hotel beautiful big room. Woke the next morning to bites on my leg wash my leg and didn't think much more of them until more bites started to appear on my body! With a trip to my G.P as i couldn't sleep with the itching and hotness it was confirmed as BED BUGS! I rang hotel 3 separate times and spoke to 3 different people and was told that they would get Exterminators into the room and not 1 phone call did i get from any manager to ask me about my experience... i also emailed the hotel and sent photos and no response!!!. Its been 4weeks since I've stayed to say I'm disappointed in my experience is an understatement.

We had our wedding at the Fitzgeralds woodlands house hotel. I cannot find words to describe this hotel and its staff! They are absolutely amazing! We dealt with David, nothing was a bother to him. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was what we wanted and more! The staff on the day were so professional they were amazing! And lastly.. the food! Unreal is the only word I can use 😂 and plenty of it. Would highly recommend the dessert trolley also! We’re 2.5wks since our day and people are still raving about it!! This hotel is simply AMAZING!!

Wir wurden in dieses Hotel umgebucht. Dies war ein Glücksfall. Sehr schönes Hotel, komfortable Betten, sehr zentral gelegen, direkt am Fluss. Frühstück war auch ok. Ermäßigtes parken, für ein paar Tage sehr empfehlenswert. Personal freundlich.

The staff here gave outstanding service. They arranged bicycle rental and even pickup from and to the bicycle shop. One staff member even drove us to a destination that was not accessible on the local bus route herself. Another gave my friend a lift to where he was to pick up his rental car. Everyone was cheerful, helpful, and competent. Rooms were clean, quiet, well equipped. Restaurant had great food. We felt so welcome here. I recommend this place very highly. Hotel is within walking distance of the city centre.

room is very clean, staff were helpful. They don't have a carpark, you use the Q-park across street above Dunnes, and pay at a special rate of 12/per 24 hour at reception when check out.

The bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent, close to everything. The only disappointment was the breakfast, otherwise it’s a perfect stay.

A large group of us stayed here while attending a concert in the nearby milk market. The rooms were lovely and spacious. It worked out at about €60 per person with a really nice cooked breakfast, with 4 per room. The location was perfect but bare in mind it is over a bar so was noisy until the early hours. I would recommend to any one and would definitely recommend for a decent, cheap spot in the city. It was clean and well maintained. No parking on site but there was a multi-storey next door that was very reasonable.

The Devon Inn is a home away from home when most needed. A beautiful hotel with modern interior decor and warm, helpful professional staff. Sometimes a hotel deserves five stars for things a hotel inspector may never know matter. Thank you to all the staff for your welcome. Delicious food, comfortable rooms and pristinely clean hotel.
