Great staff, convenient location to the train station and the old part of town as well as the Casa de Enzo Ferrari. We really enjoyed our day in this city. Both our room and the room of a traveling companion had gurgling AC noises in the night, and our shower was tiny, but the beds made up for it by being very comfortable.

I just got back from a work trip and had to write a review. This hotel is amazing, the staff were wonderful and honestly delivered the best customer service I have ever come across. Rooms very spacious with a great powerful shower. Breakfast is a must! So much choice and tasted great. The man working at the bar who recommended the local wine was very happy and even with me not speaking Italian, he served me with a smile and the nicest wine I have tasted. I would not hesitate in booking to stay here again and I’m looking forward to my next work trip so I can come back and use the spa facilities again!

Albergo dalla posizione eccellente vicinissimo al centro storico di Modena in cui passeggiare e banchettare ma con i comfort di una sistemazione lontana dalla confusione e dalla folla, in primis il posto-auto. Struttura elegante, perfettamente manutenuta spazi accoglienti e gradevoli. La stanza perfetta sotto tutti gli aspetti completa di tutti i comfort. This was our second visit to this charming small hotel in the heart of old Modena. Since our last visit, rather a few years ago, the style has changed to fashionable shabby chic. Not really our style, but all beautifully done with everything of the highest quality. Really great bed and bedding - so comfortable. And such a large room too, with every conceivable facility. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely staff who are on duty 24 hours. The garaging is brilliant and we were frequently in and out to get things from the car, which was no trouble at all Last time we discovered that satnav does not always work that well in the narrow streets, and guests’ permission to drive in the centre of the city is limited to just one route. The hotel now give very clear instructions for entrance and exit, which was a great help. Can more than recommend staying here if visiting lively Modena. There are, too, many good restaurants very close by - just a few steps away in some cases.

Stayed here on the recommendation of someone very familiar with Modena. The hotel exceeded all my expectations. Our suite was large, luxurious, and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was enormous. Large windows let in abundant sunlight when wanted and yet the room was always peaceful. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, with many hot and cold options. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Sarah and Andreas at front desk. Location is also great, as it’s nearby many nice shops and just a ten minute walk to Piazza Mazzini, which became our go to spot for dining in Modena. I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I booked two rooms here with a friend for one night when we were going to Osteria Francescana in May 2024. I loved this B&B so much that I wish we had stayed another night. If we ever go back to Modena, this is where we will stay. The room: The room was absolutely beautiful and very unique with high ceilings, a beautiful Murano glass chandelier, and a well appointed bathroom. The view looked out over a beautiful courtyard that was lit up with lovely lights in the evening. The air conditioning was excellent. The service: The service was excellent. We got in later than expected due to heavy rains and trouble getting a taxi, but Benedetta stayed 30 minutes late to wait for us so she could make sure to tell us about the area, hotel, and let us grab some fruit and pastries since we were leaving early the next morning. She was extremely kind and friendly - one of the nicest people we met during our month in Italy. The location: We picked this hotel because of its proximity to Osteria Francescana (it’s literally across the street, like a one minute walk), but it’s also walking distance to several shops and restaurants - we wish we had stayed longer to explore. I can’t recommend this place enough - it was amazing and very affordable (less than 200 euro per night for our room, and 130 euro per night for our friend’s room) especially compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Italy.
