Great stay, easy on and off from freeway. We came in late and the young lady at the desk took care of us quick so we could get into our room for much needed rest. Would recommend it no problem.

This is a great Hampton inn; and very well taken care of; there is no insane out of check trip noise. The bed is also so comfortable I can stay sleeping way past normal time. The young lady Sheila that works early morningup front is also a very graceful and sweetheart towards the staff as well!! We can’t wait to come back up here!

This is the perfect hotel. It has a wonderful breakfast. Parking is Free.

This hotel was a perfect place to stay in for a transit. Located strategically between Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. The coin operated laundry for the guests was a nice surprise. When you are travelling with young kids, laundry facility becomes quite an attractive features. 😆 Let me tell you one more thing about the breakfast. The waffles were so light! Must try!

After my earlier experience with the Rodeway Inn in Tucumcari, NM, I thought I had reasonable expectations for a good stay. As it was, this place turned out to be one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at anywhere in the world. Please see the attached photos and descriptions. Arriving, there were a lot of guys hanging around in the parking lot near the lobby, looking for trouble. They looked like a biker gang of some sort. Going into the lobby to check-in, the desk clerk looked like he could've been one of them! The room was a disaster. The door looked like it had been repaired after the room had been broken into. When I got ready to leave the next morning, I found that it looked like someone had tried breaking into my room while I slept. In the room, there was broken and damaged furniture and the WiFi was not working. I called the front desk about it and was told that they knew it wasn't working. And, they had no idea when it would be fixed. I had to use the TV stand as the table for my supper as the table was very unstable. As I was getting ready to leave the next morning, I saw a sign on the door of one room indicating that the late TV actor Martin Milner had slept in that room. Probably a long time ago when he was in the old TV series, ”Route 66”. Indeed, it was fitting for the town itself as it seems that Kingman is trying to trade today on a past that was long-ago. And, maybe wasn't all that great to begin with. Kingman has a very good Route 66 museum. And, while Andy Devine was a really nice guy, he wasn't a ”star”. To sum-up, I'm amazed that this dump still has any affiliation with Choice Hotels. It needs a ground-level up renovation. Starting with a bulldozer. They need to drop this place. It sets a really bad image for all their other properties. Stay away!
