Hotel dengan Sarapan pagi di Mojacar

We came here on a one night stopover whilst driving from Malaga to Alicante. Chose this place due to its beachside location and it offered parking, which is a rarity. Unfortunately when we arrived, the car park was full. The public car parks at the front and rear were also full, as were all the adjoining streets! so if you are driving please take this into account as it can be really tricky to find a space. Eventually I dropped the family and cases off at the entrance and ended up parking the car at the top of the beach like a lot of the locals had - not sure how secure that is! We booked a family room with two double beds. These were pushed together and very small (as was the room), so it felt like we were all in the same bed - doesnt make for a good nights sleep. They provide one bottle of water, but no bottle opener! Aircon just about works, and bathroom is functional with wall mounted soap dispensers. I would have been really disappointed to have booked this for more than a night, and would have ended up moving I think. The facilities and the swimming pool were very good, three pools all centrally located and seemed clean, lots of sunbeds piled up. Has inside and outside bar and entertainment areas, and the prices were cheap. I just got the impression that it was set up for Spanish only, and we only heard one other english speaking family. Entertainment was a spanish singer that went on til 11.15 and could clearly be heard from our room. Breakfast was absolute mayhem, ive never been in a larger, more full breakfast room. Finding a table was tricky and it was definitely survival of the fittest in there, the concept of queuing being alien to most! Food was decent enough and what you would expect from a buffet. Good location directly opposite the sandy beach, with a number of restaurants nearby, Definitely not worth £269 for the one night bed and breakfast we paid, wont be back here

A very comfortable, clean hotel next to the sea. Lovely sunrises. Good food and lovely staff. Good selection of food for breakfast and dinner with all tastes catered for. Some slightly bonkers (loud) entertainment outside in the evenings but the madness of it appealed to my sense of humour!! Complementary soft drinks in the room fridge which was a nice touch. Overall, highly recommended!

We stayed at the hotel from Saturday 16th September for 14 days. The hotel is in an ideal position within easy walking distance to a few shops and bars and just across the road from the beautiful beach. Our room was on the sixth floor and had a side sea view. The room definitely is in need of a refurbishment as the floors and furnishings are somewhat shabby. There was two large beds in the room which we found to be comfortable. Air conditioning was good (once we got the hang of it). Large balcony which was over the main entrance. Large groups of Spanish walkers congregated outside in the morning all shouting (not talking) and laughing loudly before setting off. Hotel caters mainly for Spanish, nothing wrong with that, after all it is in Spain. The food in the newly refurbished restaurant (very smartly done) was excellent with lots of choice, both at breakfast and dinner. Our only complaint was the noise, lots of children running around the restaurant without correction or supervision by their parents and lots of loud talking (almost at shouting level). The first week was relatively quiet at meal times but as the second week progressed more and more guests arrived and therefore more noise. There was entertainment in the hotel, we did not stay to see any of it as we have family in the area and spent our time socializing with them. All in all a good experience and we would use the hotel again when visiting Mojacar.

Read some of the varying reviews about this hotel, decided to book all the same. Don’t bother booking on an All Inclusive basis, as you honestly get treated like second class, an inconvenience to the staff. None of them look happy, if you opt to buy your drinks, they will take the spirit bottle to you with a nice mixer..if you are on AI, they come out with a concoction of god knows what with the next from the tap. The hotel itself? Paid for a sea view and balcony, absolute waste of money, we were looking at the back of the hotel for our “Sea view” the balcony? As people have said it is ridiculously small and we couldn’t use it. This hotel backed on to a golf course, it was at the end of the *****, miles away from shops and restaurants. The pool area was shocking, in fact they need to get the green keeping staff from the golf course to cut the grass, what a mess. To sum up, we rarely ever complain about hotels and restaurants, this one was awful. Find somewhere else where they value your custom. Las instalaciones estaban bastante bien, en la piscina se estaba muy agusto, el supermercado lo mas! Si lo llego a saber no me voy cargada de casa, precios muy buenos. No estaría mal renovar los billares y bajarlos de precio y poner algo más, dardos, mas mesas de pin pon... El buffet desayuno no estaba mal, pero alguno de los camareros poco agradable, adjunto foto de la cucharilla que me dieron para desayunar. Ya que te toque un apartamento u otro es otra cosa, a nosotros nos tocó mirando a la plaza, pero cortan los ruidos a las 12. En general bien, seguramente repitamos algún año.
