I had to stay here durring a fair in Dusselsdorf. After a 40 minutes drive I arrived in a place that was absolutely beautiful. The buildings and its gardens are absolutely beautiful. I had a very large and spotless clean room. The lobby and the restaurant are very cosy, and breakfast very good. At the end was was looking like a very stressful trip ended being relaxing and agreeable.

La struttura è nuova e ben curata. Il servizio del personale è gentile e professionale. La colazione è davvero ottima, c'è tanta scelta e tutto scelto con cura e estrema attenzione al cliente. Era la prima volta che soggiornavo in questa struttura e mi è stato regalata una sistemazione di benvenuto oltre le mie aspettative con una camera più grande rispetto la media, super spaziosa e provvista di ogni confort. Anche se leggermente lontano dall'aereoporto, la struttura è a una 15 di minuti dal centro di Burgplatz che consiglio di andare a visitare specialmente nel periodo di Natale con un piccolo mercatino tipico.

I stayed at Theaterhotel Venlo during Carnival for one night. The room was good, the indoor parking average (a bit narrow and expensive (15,00 EUR for 24 hours)). But the breakfast service was very weak! The personnel - three ladies - did not care pretty much about the buffet (bread rolls and scrumbled eggs were empty) but the guest has to ask to fill it up although there were many guests in the breakfast room. Besides you have to go to breakfast bar to ask for hot tea, coffee etc. as nobody from the personnel felt responsible to go to the guest's table to ask whether hot tea, coffee etc. is wished. The same with dirty plates on tables. Nobody of personnel cleaned it up. For 100,00 EUR for one night including breakfast - single occupancy - in such medium-sized city of Venlo I can expect proactive and attentive guest service! Probably I do not recommend Theaterhotel Venlo. P.S.: In the breakfast room it is very drafty as it there isn't any doors and it is part of the huge entrance lobby of theater of Venlo. So not very cozy there!

L'hôtel est extrêmement excentré. Cela ne semblait pas être un problème à la réservation dans la mesure où l'hôtel est supposé être plutôt bien desservi par les transports. Cependant, l'hôtel déclare être à deux minutes du métro. Cette station est en effet présente, mais est la dérivation d'une ligne avoisinante. La station est fermée le soir et le dimanche et est désservie une fois toute les 30 minutes. Une autre station à 7 minutes de marche à pied dans un quartier d'affaire et désert le soir (et donc pas très sécurisant) s'impose donc la plupart du temps, et l'hôtel omet cette information de son site. De plus, cette autre station n'est désservie que toutes les 20 minutes. Comptez donc au moins une demi-heure pour rejoindre le centre-ville, ce qui réduit toute possibilité de repasser à l'hôtel pour se changer avant d'aller dîner par exemple. L'accueil est plutôt amical, mais la réceptionniste qui était présente pendant la quasi-totalité de mon séjour semblait de moins en moins sympathique lorsqu'on avait besoin d'elle. Par exemple, je ne parvenais pas à faire fonctionner le coffre-fort et visiblement elle non plus. Aucun mode d'emploi n'était mis à la disposition des clients ni du personnel semble-t-il. Une atre personne est venue voir si elle pouvait faire quelque chose et devait revenir vers moi, mais cela n'a jamais été le cas. J'ai donc dû me débrouiller moi-même. En attendant de trouver une solution le 2ème jour, j'ai dû confier certains de mes effets personnels à la réception afin qu'ils soient entreposés dans le coffre fort central. En raison de clients ayant fumé dans leur chambre d'après les membres du personnel de l'hôtel, le signal d'alarme à été automatiquement activé pendant la première nuit, et nous avons tous dû être évacués, dans la rue, avec une température de 10°C. Je dois dire que j'ai été impressionné par la réactivité du personnel qui à distribué des couvertures aux enfants et qui s'est montré à l'écoute des interrogations des clients en revenant dans l'hôtel. J'ajoute qu'ils semblait bien connaître et appliquer à la lettre un plan d'urgence. Le petit déjeuner était de belle qualité.

The entire hotel was very clean. Additionally, the cost performance of the breakfast was very good. Overall, it was the off-peak season for travel, so there were fewer people, but there were no noisy guests, and the clientele was classy, which was nice.

PPengguna TetamuDas Hotel ist das Non Plus Ultra für alle Gladbach Fans. Die Zimmer sind im Gladbach Style eingerichtet.
Die Einrichtung ist sehr Hochwertig. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber. Da wir an einem Spieltag dort Übernachtet haben war das Restaurant ( Die Sportsbar) geschlossen.
Das Frühstück gab es dann in der Sportsbar. Es blieb kein Wunsch offen. Ob süß oder herzhaft, es war alles vorhanden.

PPengguna TetamuAm letzten Wochenende waren wir in Mönchengladbach, und dachten eigentlich, dass das „Hotel Kaiser“ in der Geistenbecker Str. eine gute Wahl wäre. Leider wurden wir massiv enttäuscht, und fühlten uns teilweise auch noch auf den Arm genommen. Auf seiner Webseite wirbt das „Hotel Kaiser“ mit Familienfreundlichkeit, günstigen Preisen und kostenlosen Parkplätzen für seine Gäste. Zunächst hört sich das einmal gut an, in der Praxis bleibt allerdings vom schönen Schein so gut wie nichts übrig. Das Hotel liegt in einer engen Wohnstrasse, in der es aussichtslos ist, nach einem Parkplatz zu suchen. Wir parkten zunächst vor einem grossen Tor neben dem Hotel, um uns beim Portier zu erkundigen, wo wir parken können. Er meinte, dass wir schon vor der Zufahrt zu den hoteleigenen Parkplätzen stehen würden, und öffnete das Tor. Dort ging es durch eine Durchfahrt die so eng war, dass die Sensoren im Fahrzeug Daueralarm gaben, und wir haben nur eine Mercedes C-Klasse. Wir möchten nicht wissen, was hier los ist, wenn jemand mit einem grösseren Fahrzeug hier durch muss. Das war allerdings sowieso nur einmal relevant, weil am nächsten Abend die paar hoteleigenen Parkplätze komplett belegt waren, und wir deshalb in einiger Entfernung vom Hotel parken mussten. Diese Sache könnte man vielleicht noch mit „dumm gelaufen“ abtun, wenn sonst alles in Ordnung gewesen wäre - was es aber nicht war. Nachdem wir eingecheckt hatten, teilte uns der Rezeptionist mit, dass unser Zimmer im 3. Stock liegen würde. Wir laufen los, und suchen den Aufzug. Nachdem wir keinen Aufzug gefunden haben sind wir zurückgegangen, und haben den Mitarbeiter nach dem Aufzug gefragt. Antwort: Hier gibt es keinen Aufzug! Also durften wir über eine schmale Wendeltreppe (Foto) in den 3. Stock laufen. Das ist schon für normal fitte Menschen eine Zumutung, vor allem, wenn sie Gepäck dabei haben. Aber für Ältere, Menschen mit Behinderung und Personen mit Übergewicht ist das ein Unding. Selbstverständlich wird dieses Problem auf der Webseite des Hotels (die tatsächlich nur aus der Startseite besteht) überhaupt nicht erwähnt. Nachdem wir dann im Zimmer angekommen waren, mussten wir feststellen, dass es im Bad ordentlich miefte. Nachdem wir, leider zu spät, bei TripAdvisor gelesen hatten das einem anderen Gast das auch passiert ist und das Hotel sich das angeblich gar nicht erklären konnte, haben wir auf eine sofortige Reklamation verzichtet. Nachdem wir es bei der Abreise angesprochen haben, hat das Hotel immerhin auf die Berechnung des (dürftigen) Frühstücks am Abreisetag verzichtet. Die Möblierung (Bild) ist auch nicht gerade auf dem neuesten Stand, was aber hier nicht besonders ins Gewicht fällt. Wenn im Schrank allerdings schon wenig Platz ist, sollte er wenigstens komplett frei sein, und nicht zu einem grossen Teil mit reingestopften Decken (Bild) belegt sein. Wir haben keine Ahnung, ob die Möbel so alt sind wie die ebenfalls als Dekoration im Zimmer stehende Vase (Bild). Auf der Vase steht allerdings

AAchliafanIch war für 2 Nächte im Montana weil ich in der gegenüber liegenden Zahnklinik eine OP hatte.Das EZ hatte eine ausreichende Grösse,bequemes Bett,grosses Bad.Alles war sehr sauber.Es gab Wasser und Wasserkocher mit Kaffee und Tee.Ein Kühlschrank wäre bei der Hitze toll gewesen,so musste ich jede halbe Stunde an die Rezeption und die sehr nette Mitarbeiterin hat mir jedes mal meine Kühlpads getauscht.Nachts war es sehr ruhig.Frühstücken konnte ich leider nicht,aber was ich gesehen habe,sah sehr gut aus.In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es fussläufig nichts zum essen oder ein Kneipe,wobei man auch im Hotel bis 21 Uhr eine Bar hat.Sehr nette Leute und ein absolut angenehmes Hotel

PPengguna TetamuBecause of train delays I had to find a hotel in the middle of the night. Crown Select was the third one that I contacted by phone, they asked me to bring 100 euros of cash as a deposit. I explained that I didn't carry that amount of cash with me and that I could pay the hotel bill in advance (by bank-card) but they insisted (policy of that hotel). With a taxi driver i had to find an available ATM / cash machine, which generated a much bigger taxi bill (many cash machines weren't available in Mönchen-Gladbach after 22 o'clock). In my opinion this policy is un-human, un-necessary (people leave their passport not for no reason!!!). un-inviting (especially when in an unpleasant situation at midnight as I was in). THIS SHOULD BE FORBIDDEN. Pity for the hotel - anything else was good - one could skip the over-priced breakfast for 19 euros though.

PPengguna TetamuIch war gemeinsam mit Freunden in diesem Hotel, auf Grund einer Eheschließung:) hervorragende Aussicht zum Schloss, ruhige Lage. Nette Mitarbeiter, die sehr viel Geduld mit uns hatten:). Bis auf die Einrichtung, ist das Hotel Empfehlenswert:)
