Agriturismo Merigge Wellness & Spa Montepulciano

Agriturismo Merigge was the perfect location and it was centrally located to many hill towns that we visited. The property is simply amazing and it is so well kept. The shower and bed were also the best we had out of four different places in Italy so far and it is so clean. The pool and the spectacular view of Montepulciano, the landscaped grounds, the breakfast area and our room 103 were just perfect and I wish we had longer than 4 nights at Merrige. And finally Raffaele was an amazing host who made everything so easy for us. Our dinner reservations were to great places and he sent us the google map locations and also the location to the closest parking. This was SO helpful and again it made our stay all the more enjoyable and stress free. I would stay here again if we visit in the future. It was perfect.

Nothing was missing. Everything was beautiful. I would come back again. This time a little longer. The town Montepulciano is so cute and on the top of the mountain. Great views and the owner has great recommendations. Great wine and shops to explore. I really enjoyed this side of the Tuscany!

Simply perfect. This is the kind of place where they have thought of everything. One of the most beautiful settings for an incredible, intimate hotel. The pool looks out over Montepulciano and the surrounding area. Expected to be treated genuinely like family. The team here go out of their way to ensure you have one of the most incredible stays. Whether they are organising dinners, taxis and experiences, or just cooking some incredible lunches and breakfasts made with the ingredients they grow on-site. Raffaele and the rest of the team have managed to create something incredible that easily competes with the best hotels in the world. It really doesn’t get better than this.

We've spent the last week or so bouncing around Tuscany, absolutely spoilt for choice with views, food, wine and cultural moments we'll remember forever. Amongst those, and amidst some fierce competition, is our stay at the Agriturismo Merigge. A truly special stay with one of the most incredible views of my life. Raffaela has done an incredible job creating this little oasis. We'll tell everyone about this. Ten out of ten, no notes. Don't miss this.

We loved the friendliness and attentiveness of our hosts. Everything was clean and beautiful - the room, the grounds, and the lovely pool area. With only six rooms, you have the opportunity for quiet and tranquility if all you wish to do is sit and relax. You can also easily explore nearby hill towns with recommended restaurants and winery tours that Merigge will help you arrange. Breakfast was delicious too!

I spent months searching for the perfect Tuscan farmhouse, and agriturismo Merigge exceeded all of my expectations!! It is a beautiful tranquil oasis. The grounds are just spectacular with rows and rows of lavender, vegetable garden and even chickens! The crystal clear salt water pool is very large and has a great view of Montepulciano in the distance. The rooms are farmhouse elegant with modern amenities, comfy bed and a nice hot rain shower. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. I’ve never had better scrambled eggs! The staff is wonderful, and the care they put into the property is evident. It’s a very special place that I wish we didn’t have to leave!

Just came back from the best family vacation ever in Tuscany. Staying at Agriturismo Merigge was the highlight of our entire week there. Such a lovely and peaceful place, far from the city lights but close to the immensely beautiful scenery around Merigge. With just six rooms this pristine place comes with Raffaele, Tiziana and Carlotta dedicated attention which it feels like your extended family, it's your home away from home, surrounded by an extense lavender's field, olive trees, naturally grown spices, a swimming pool and pergolas out of the movies. Every morning they are waiting for you with a natural breakfast to start your day with energy, encompassed by Carlotta's dedicated cook to order and attention to detail to your taste and mood for every member of your group. Merigge It's like a little piece of heaven, a place to fully relax at the pool, the newly opened Spa, or just walking throughout the lavender field. Rooms are sparkling clean, beds and pillows comfy, and even with air conditioning, however, at night you just open the windows and it's another whole world with just birds singing and chirping, and a location perfect for stargazing. Amazing Cooking classes and Wine Testing are also offered at Merigge should you have a couple of hours to spare. If you are looking for "Under the Tuscan Sun" relaxed experience, Agriturismo Merigge is the place to be, you will cherish it for years to come.

From the moment we arrived, the staff and owners made us feel at ease and like family. The grounds, pool, and accommodations are outstanding and everything is kept pristine. Each day, the breakfast offered is more than we could have hoped for. We elected to have a lunch on the grounds one day; the local chef was as cheerful and friendly as her dish was excellent. We will be back and will always recommend Agriturismo Merigge. Ciao!
