Hotel berhampiran Chateau de Flaugergues, Montpellier

It’s a heartwarming thing to choose a hôtel purely on the basis of location only to find that it’s really a bit of a gem. We had an eight night stay at the beautiful Domain de Verchant, set amongst its own vineyards and parkland, only a few kilometres outside historic Montpellier. The rooms were both charming and well appointed , the food in the two different restaurants was really very good and the spa/ pool areas are quite wonderful with first rate facilities. However, it is the professional and friendly service that sets this hotel apart . Under the General manager, Jean-Pascal Picolette, thé team show their dedication and pleasure in looking after their residents, whether it be serving a poolside sandwich or a 5 course fine dining meal at their superb restaurant Marcelle. This hotel just finished a full refurbishment and everything is new. The location is very good and lots of restaurants nearby. Fully recommend!

Excellent accueil de l'ensemble du personnel (réceptionnistes, personnel d'entretien, lingerie) hotel récent donc propre et bien conçu. Chambre bien équipée aux normes des trois étoiles, piscine, salle de fitness, petit dejeuner avec des produits de qualité, je recommande cet hotel pour son excellent rapport prestations/prix (chambre standard). A revoir le sauna n'a pas de douche ... (?).

Séjour d’une nuit à l’Eklo Montpellier début février avec mes filles à l’occasion d’un concert. J’ai réservé l’Eklo pour tester ce nouveau concept d’hôtel et surtout pour un critère qui est primordial pour moi : Le parking ! Parties a 00h30 du Zénith Sud,je me suis garée au parking de la gare après plus d’1h d’errance dans Montpellier dont le centre est en travaux. GPS de ma voiture,Waze,Google Map,aucun n’a réussi à me conduire à la fameuse rue du clos rené indiquée sur les indications données par mail avant d’arriver à l’hôtel.Peut-être parce qu’il faisait nuit noire,peut-être parce que j’étais épuisée ,peut-être parce qu’il faut rouler sur des voies de tram pour y accéder (chez moi c’est interdit !).J’ai pourtant appelé l’hôtel mais la personne n’a pas su me guider.J’ai du me garer à 400 mètres et faire le trajet à pied à 2h du mat avec 2 filles de 16 ans,donc nous avons eu peur.Sans parler des 24.50 euros de parking pour 12 heures de stationnement. Arrivées sur place j’avais demandé 2 chambres côte à côte comme je suis avec ma fille et sa copine qui ont toutes les deux 16 ans. Nous nous sommes retrouvées a 2 étages différents.Ça ne m’est jamais arrivé dans aucun autre hôtel !On ne sépare pas des parents de leurs enfants d’1 étage ! De plus 1 des 2 chambres était pour PMR donc inondation dans la salle de bains! Bref un fiasco total ! Les seules satisfactions sont le confort de la literie et la sympathie de la totalité des membres du personnel.Merci à vous tous de m’avoir écouté et de m’avoir remboursé le parking mais Eklo Montpellier et moi c’est fini et je ne conseille pas cet établissement !

Communication with this hotel was good before arrival. We asked for a Superior double room on the first floor and this was provided for us. It was a large room with excellent air conditioning, comfortable large bed and pillows. Shower was excellent with hand rail for support. We were provided with two bottles of water on arrival, one bottle of water on the second day and nil bottles of water on the third day. Why? Toiletries that were used were nor replenished. Why? Tea bags that were used were not replenished. Why? The toilet area is separate to the bathroom area. You have to leave one room to go to another to wash your hands. The door to the toilet make a pretty awful creaking sound when opened and closed, disturbing my partners sleep at night. Housekeeping should be reporting these type of issues. The bathroom area has a glass wall. It does not give 100% privacy. When you switch on the light to wash your hands during the night, the whole bedroom lights up. The batteries for the remote control for the TV in our room were dead. Reception could not find any replacement until Daniel stepped in and gave us the ones from the reception remote. We found Daniel to be an excellent worker, tuned in to his customer needs. We were staying for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast offering never changed over the 3 mornings. It was pretty boring and we have had better. One staff member, a lady with bandana, took exception to me taking a tea spoon from a box on the counter, so I could stir my tea. I had used the one originally given to eat a yogurt. I felt like a school child. The same lady when cleaning off the breakfast tables would examine the cutlery to see if they had been used, if not she put them back on the table for the next person. Despite the above, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Reception staff were very pleasant. We liked the old world decor. The hotel is situated a few minutes from the train station.

Horrible service. This hotel charges you extra 150€ on check in without any reason. When we asked for any legal base for that, they couldn’t find anything and their only response was “pay or f… off”. The woman at the check-in showed us on the computer screen a part of a conversation with other customers WITH THEIR PRIVATE DATA in order to “prove” that other customers paid this 150€. In the end, she arbitrarily charged us 80€ (?), which so far has not been returned to our account. This hotel is a joke. AVOID.

Booked a very last minute room and as there were 4 of us plumped for a suite with sofa bed. First impression was pretty good when you walk intot reception and are gretted by ballet art on the walls and a modern take on art deco furniture. Reception is large and well maintained. Our third floor room was spacious and clean and the decor is very cool. We had a large bed and the boys had the sofa bed. Two large young men managed well with the sofa bed as, thankfully, it was quite large. Really pleased with our dtay and will definitely be back.

Nous avons découvert cet hôtel vraiment par hasard et ce fut une jolie surprise. A commencer par la présence d’une borne de recharge pour véhicule électrique : bravo ! Le personnel est très accueillant et agréable. La qualité des services, la propreté de la chambre et sa configuration avec la douche donnant sur le lit nous ont vraiment plu. Seul bémol : les grincements du lit … Le prix est vraiment très correct au vu des services et du standing de l’établissement.
