Comfortable well appointed bedroom, but un-inviting public areas. Better than average breakfast buffet with efficient breakfast staff. Dinner menu overpriced for what it is. Be wary on check out as the reception will take a pre-auth on your card prior to your stay which they then try to claim is a deposit and attempt to charge your card a second time for the full value of the stay rather than undertaking a completion on the pre-auth already taken - which is normal hospitality practice.

As the title says - a great experience. Top location with underground secure parking on the outer circular tram line. Tram stop in front of the hotel so no need to take your card anywhere for visiting the city and dining out. The tram allegedly also runs all the way towards the beach. The hotel itself is very good shape. Nice and spacious rooms. Above average breakfast for a Courtyard. The best part: the hotel pool. All you need - sunchairs and umbrellas and a very well maintained pool. We also enjoyed our terrace - good to have an after dinner drink on. Bar (as part of the main restaurant) well managed with friendly staff all the way through. That also goes for front desk staff. Two things they need to work on: housekeeping - simply sloppy without going into details. Secondly (and that applies only to travelers getting a Bonvoy tier welcome gift), the choice you make upon checkin is apparently not recorded anywhere. As such, the EUR 20 per day credit for beverages is not deducted on your final bill so you better check and don't opt for getting your bill by email. That is a pitty and very unfortunate - such a great hotel and then, towards the end, you get that experience which just feels wrong and kind of leaves a bitter-sour aftertaste. However, will certainly go back, with the above in mind.

Reservo a través de *********** una habitación compartida femenina y me asignan una cama en una habitación compartida masculina. No te informan (por ocupación o lo que sea del error hasta que yo misma me di cuenta). Vaya engaño: no le decimos a ver si cuela! No respetan las preferencias del cliente en este aspecto (el que lamentablemente experimenté). No les importa si se vulnera tu intimidad o si te sientes incómoda. Lo reporté en la Recepción al momento pero, con un ”lo siento”, no sé solucionan las cosas. Tampoco te ofrecen alternativas y/o compensación por el grave error cometido. Busco la zona de atención al cliente en la web de *********** y claro, 24 horas después, te dicen que van a contactar con el establecimiento y pasa el tiempo y tampoco hacen nada. Normal, tienen su dinero y no les importa para nada el cliente en sí. Qué desagradable ha sido! Qué intranquilidad! Así van ofreciendo servicios y dando lo contrario. El hostel cero compensación. ***********, tampoco ofrece ! Una muy mala experiencia.

I was not aware of the beauty of Montpellier and it is certainly worth a trip, especially when one loves typical mediterranean night life: small alleys, very cute restaurants and cafés everywhere, everybody on the streets. The Hotel des Arts fits in perfectly - it is conveniently close to the nightlife hotspots and close to the station Saint Roch. The owner is very nice and speaks good English ;-) the hotel itself has the charms of an antique city house while the rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. Certainly a good place to stay at least for a short stop-over or a couple of nights.

The customer service was exceptional - the staff were always friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch. For a hotel in its price range, Hôtel Campanile Montpellier Centre St Roch is one of the best around!

Certainly a good place to stay at least for a short stop-over or a couple of nights.

Beautiful rooms in this old part of Montpelier, and superb bathroom. However trying to access the hotel by road is very difficult due to major road/tram works in Montpelier when we went in July 2023. In the end we found the recommended car park and walked to the hotel, some 10 minutes. On arrival at 13.35hr we were told the room would only be ready at 14.00hr, and after explaining that we had arrived in Montpelier at 12.30hr and it had taken us an hour of driving and walking to find the hotel, they insisted the room would only be ready at 14.00hr. After this glitch I have to say the hotel was one of the best, 12 individual rooms I gather furnished differently, with different bathrooms - we had booked the powers shower, which was wonderful. Getting into the heart of the city was easy (5 minutes) and the car park we found was only 2 minutes away.

Not far from the center(only 10 min walking distance) and two tram stops from St.Roch central train station it was the cheapest room we could find.The girl in the reception was very helpful and professional and speaking very well English! The rooms are exactly as in the photos of Booking.com,new and big.They have kitchen that we didn’t use.the bathroom was big and new !!! Wi-Fi was working perfectly and free !!! A great choice for the beautiful Montpellier !!!

Great hotel, right opposite the train station and within walking distance to Comedie and the old town. Recently refurbished by the looks of it. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice and modern too! Only downside was that there was no bottled water (although tap water is drinkable) and also limited coffee supplies. Check in was pretty straight forward. There was roadworks outside during our stay but it didn’t bother us as they weren’t on whilst we were sleeping.
