Always a great time. Easy to walk to anywhere. Great Lake view. Bars always a good vibe. Only bad thing my girl & I like to sleep in the last night order room service. The tv internet was off this time wouldn’t connect. Besides that always great.

Hello. I am a frequent customer with Wyndham because I am a travel nurse. I recently started a contract in Morgantown so I stayed at the super8 this week hoping for it to be the place I stay during the weeks coming up. I made my reservation online and put it the comments I needed a late checkout because I work nights and I sleep during the day. When I checked in Monday night I talked with the worker behind the desk and asked about the late checkout again to make sure it would not be an issue because I was staying there til Wednesday at 6pm and she said it wouldn’t be a problem and made a note of it. So when I did go to checkout on Wednesday I walked up to the counter and talked to a different employee that I was going to check out. She then proceeded to say that i should’ve been out of there at 1pm and that it was ridiculous for me to trying to check out at 530pm. I told her about how when I made my reservation online I made not that I would be checking out at 6pm is and I verified it when I checked in. She then said I didn’t and it wasn’t marked and no one told her. Then proceeded to tell me I should be charged another day because I missed checkout and their house keeping leaves at two. I would have been totally okay with this is she did not express her frustrations in a condescending attitude. The whole conversation she was shaking her head in disgust like I was a problem. All in all I have never experienced customer that was so poor and was so inappropriate. There is a way to approach issues and this was not it. Also it was an awkward situation in that the employee was sitting in her street clothes with cat ears in like she was going to some sort of costume party. So I had this employee arguing with me with cat ears on and trying not to laugh and be upset at the same time. Also there was no breakfast available and there was constant noise because most of the hotel was being renovated. I would have been totally okay with my stay had I not had this experience with an employee and I would never recommend to anyone to stay there and deal with that type of service.
