A huge thank you to the reception staff who managed to swap our room quickly and without fuss. Hotel is well located and comfortable. Rooms are clean and the higher floors offer good city views.

The hotel is certainly very adequate and of course very convenient, but having stayed at some other more modern Metropolitan hotels, like the ones in Sendai and Kamakura, this was very spartan and far from special. It’s actually hard to believe that they are in the same hotel chain. We wanted to eat in any of the hotel restaurants but they were fully booked and would not make any exceptions for hotel guests, but being around the holidays I guess that’s not too surprising.

盛岡は目的によって、宿泊先も駅近か中心部に分かれるようですが、自分は駅近のこのホテルで正解でした。 ツインをシングルユースで使いましたが、部屋は広々、テレビも動画やミラーリンクにも対応しており、動画派の自分には嬉しい限り。 自分はJRホテルの会員なんで、別のネットエージェント経由の予約でも特典でチェックアウトが1時間延長になりました。 客室はやはり年季が入っていますが清潔で、 ベッドもしっかり。枕の高さもちょうどよく 快適に過ごせました。 朝食も美味しかったけど、連泊なのでバリエーションが欲しいかな。

Toujours contents s'arrêter à Daiwa Roynet. Cet hôtel est situé près du centre historique, à côté d'innombrables restaurants, 15-20 minutes à pieds de la gare.

I’m at the end of a three night stay at the Richmond Hotel in Morioka. The hotel is in a great location, opposite Morioka Station. The hotel appears to be new and has a Lawson convenience store with an entrance in the lobby. Check in is largely self-checkin, but when I checked in staff were present to help. My room on the 8th floor is easily comfortable for two people, even though it’s a single. And the bed is both large and comfortable. Even the bathroom is larger than many of my recent stays at other hotels. I’ve stayed at Richmond hotels in other cities and have always been pleased. They are not luxury hotels, but they are very comfortable and well-thought out hotels. I would call them dependable. And for the cost, a great deal in my view. I did not try the breakfast, but all indications in the hotel are that it is good, with regional specialties available. One other big plus for me is that the hotel is quiet. No noise in the halls. None from outside. And none from train departures. Overall, a great stay.

Thumbs up for the excellent service and very delicious food! The chef makes a mean steamed pork belly, amongst many other yummy dishes. Tempura is awesome too. Public baths arent that impressive, with outdoor onsen being v small and lukewarm at best. I felt it was a great pity that the beautiful view of the river from the windows of the dining room is being blocked by a bunch of clutter right next to the wall to wall glass window. It would've been so lovely to eat and look out at the river and mountains beyond, rather than see high chairs and screens and the tempura stand. In-room onsen was terrific....very large indoor bath and a smaller tub outdoors on the balcony. The onsen water can get very hot but u can take the temperature down with the cool water hose. The room is rather small but cosy. I'm not impressed by the bedding though. Futns are waty too thin, however the staff are very glad to add an extra futon atop when i requested for it. The location of the hotel is great, for me at least. There are a few fanily parks and nature trails nearby. The hotel has very beautifully crafted pieces of furniture at their coffee and drink bar for guests. Chairs by Fuji furniture so comfortable i wanna take them home! The lobby has some top notch cosy chairs and a buttery soft recliner, every piece a show of great Japanese craftmanshi! In all, this is just a very wonderful hotel annd I highly recommend it.

小岩井農場の近く、御所湖沿いにある「つなぎ温泉」に宿は有ります。湖畔側は岩手山を望めるのですが、残念ながら山側奥にあるため、宿からは御所湖は見えません。落ち着いた3階建て和風旅館で、程良い大きさで食事場所や風呂の移動もとても楽でした。選択したお部屋はベット付きで、直ぐ横になれるのはいい！お目当ての夕食は懐石料理、それも殻ウニ付き！個室では無いが、平安朝風？に仕切られておりました。ゆっくりととても美味しく堪能出来ました。お風呂はぬるく無い程良い温度で、木立に囲まれた露天もゆっくり出来ました。サービス面や従業員の挨拶も心地良く、是非ともお勧めしたい旅館になりました。

岩手県庁の真裏に位置する北ホテル。『盛岡の宿応援割』を利用し初めて宿泊しました。地元資本のホテル。建物は古めですが、部屋は改装され過ごしやすかった。エアコンは部屋ごとにあり快適。 朝食は二階のレストランで、ブッフェ形式ではなく、個々に持ってきてくれます。サラダのきゅうり🥒が蝶々🦋に、ちょっとした心遣いが大変気持ちよかった。 コンビニは、ローソン、セブンイレブンが近くにあり、只、繁華街には少々歩きます。

Located near the train station. Good facilities including coin operated laundry. Nice complimentary amenities including bath salts in the lobby. There's a big convenience store on the hotel ground floor. Room is comfortable.
