Hotel 5-Star di Sichuan, China

I stayed at the Mingren Hotel for a business trip and was very satisfied overall. The room layout was well-designed, with a spacious work area and stable internet. The hygiene standards were high, and the environment was quiet, perfect for resting and getting work done. The front desk was responsive, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The hotel facilities were comprehensive, and the surrounding transportation was convenient, making it highly recommended for travel.

We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Chengdu Cross Point with our child, and the biggest highlight was the direct access to Cross Point Mall downstairs. It was incredibly convenient for entertaining our child, dining, and shopping, all without having to brave the elements. The hotel facilities are new, and the high-floor views are excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered authentic Sichuan snacks. The lobby even had a cute dog that entertained the kids. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making it a great value for families traveling with children. We were very satisfied!

The hotel was a pleasant surprise during our trip; the kids and our dog were very happy with it, as it had a large bathtub and a small garden. Since we were leaving very early the next day, our butler, Jiqing, thoughtfully packed breakfast and provided a lot of information on sightseeing and dining options. Leshan is a treasure trove of a city; besides the Giant Buddha, there are many other fun places to visit. I would definitely choose to cycle solo for a thousand miles again next time.

The environment here is fantastic, with pristine forest right behind the property. On clear days, you can even see snow-capped mountains across the way and behind us, though it's quite atmospheric even on cloudy days. It's truly untouched; we saw wild rabbits hopping around and herders' horses grazing nearby. The breakfast was delicious, and the yak hotpot we had for dinner was pretty good too. I also highly recommend exploring the village down the mountain.

I've always wanted to visit Chengdu Haiquan Bay MGallery, and it definitely lives up to being my top choice for a private hot spring getaway near the city. The private hot spring in the villa courtyard draws from the natural Baima Yongquan spring, offering excellent privacy. The biggest bonus is the complete butler service. The front desk handover was seamless, and the butler thoughtfully noted my check-in preferences, preparing everything in advance. Their service was just right – attentive without being intrusive. The entire process was highly responsive, with all requests always handled properly. The elegant environment combined with meticulous service truly maximized the feeling of relaxation, leaving both my mind and body extremely refreshed. I genuinely recommend it and will definitely be returning.

First, let's talk about the environment: The hotel's overall environment is captivating at first sight. The entire area consists of detached villa clusters nestled on the mountain slopes, scattered amidst lush greenery, offering complete privacy. The hotel's paths are serene, surrounded by trees and excellent ecological surroundings. You might occasionally spot small squirrels and various birds flitting through the woods, creating a healing and natural atmosphere. Each villa comes with a panoramic viewing terrace, and opening the windows reveals continuous green mountains – quiet, therapeutic, and truly atmospheric. Next, the service: For this stay, I especially want to thank Manager Vincent Li. His service throughout was gentle yet professional, with sincerity evident in every detail. My stay happened to coincide with my birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully presented a chocolate cake. I initially only expected it to look good, but to my surprise, the cake had a rich and dense texture, exactly my favorite flavor. This unexpected surprise made the trip extra warm. During my stay, no matter what issues or needs arose, contacting Vincent always resulted in an immediate response and proper handling. He was patient and meticulous, without a hint of perfunctoriness. His exceptionally high standard of service significantly elevated the experience of this Jiuzhai trip. The hotel's travel photography service was also excellent! 👍 Finally, a small suggestion: The hotel's Western restaurant has a limited variety of dishes, and not many options. The BBQ platter was too ***** (mutton/lamb), so friends who can't tolerate that taste should definitely avoid it 🤣. It would be great if they could enrich the food selection in the future. To add: there aren't many dining options around the hotel. The Xiangmanyuan Yak Beef Hotpot recommended by the staff was just average, and the beef was *****. However, their small beef skewers (5 skewers for 12 yuan) were delicious, you can order more of those 😊. Next time I visit Jiuzhaigou, Conrad will still be my first choice. Hotel was in a relatively good location. Within walking distance there are malls and food stalls. Opposite hotel was the Sichuan opera theatre. Recommended to watch at least once. Hotel is able to get the tickets at cheaper rates. For the two bedroom suite, it is suitable for family of 5 with 1 child inclusive. There is one master bedroom which is directly linked to the toilet with a bathtub. Other room and second toilet is separated. Kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery etc. detergent is also provided for the washer. Refrigerator has normal and freezer compartment. Balcony is locked but you can sign an indemnity form to open it. Slippers provided are of good quality and house keeping is good. Only downside is the different little issues for different room we stayed in like hot water tap not working. hotel is connected to a mall, the HK cafe there is recommended. Food is good. Also the bakery sells really good chocolate bun. You can find it right after u enter the mall through hotel lobby. The best thing of course was Tina, who always served with a smiling face and takes the initiative to add you on WeChat to cater to your queries whenever you need. she was also the one who helped to provide breakfast for our child whose breakfast was not included. The other lady who served us on the first night told us we had to pay. It was a very nice gesture from Tina. look for Tina if u stay here, she will be a great help. For the breakfast,it is not the most fanciful but sufficient. Food changes daily but some food type stays the same. They have a paper where you can order noodles, egg omelette, pancakes and waffles. It will be served to you directly so thats a nice touch. They even provide disposable cups for the coffee machine with lids so that you can bring it out if you are in hurry or needed more drink. On weekday and weekend breakfast, the crowd was just nice unlike some hotels where it feels overwhelming and overcrowded due to the huge influx of tourists and there is no need to worry about food running out. Only downside for us is we can’t differentiate the type of meat. We don’t eat beef but it doesn’t state on the labels so we had to ask each time we wanted to take meat or dishes with meat. It is easy to call for DIDI (their taxis) from the hotel. If you have 4 pax or less, hotel can call for you but more than that, you have to arrange yourself. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable stay. Definitely you can’t compare the price to a cheaper hotel. You are paying for quality over here.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street and IFS, both within walking distance. The surrounding area is also beautiful, with lush greenery and fresh air. It's incredibly convenient whether you're shopping on Chunxi Road or visiting other attractions, and public transport is a breeze with a metro station right outside. The hotel is on a high floor; the 45th floor houses the restaurant, offering expansive city views. There's also a card and chess room for leisure. The rooms are spotless, tidied diligently by the staff every day, making it incredibly comfortable and relaxing to return to after a day out. In short, with its convenient transportation, comfortable environment, and attentive service, this is a truly satisfying choice.

The biggest plus of this hotel is its incredibly close proximity to the scenic spots – just a few minutes' walk away. The room size was a bit cramped, but I did like the simple and refreshing wooden decor. However, the soundproofing was really subpar. I could hear the front desk staff chatting all the way up in my third-floor room. While I'm sure the staff didn't intend for their conversations to be so loud, it was definitely disruptive to guests. The most unacceptable thing, though, was a staff member opening my room door and walking in without knocking. I never received a reasonable explanation from the hotel even when I checked out. Plus, the windows in the room were dusty, and there was hair left on the shower walls. For a price that's nearly four figures, I really felt it wasn't worth it.

The hotel is not far from Huashuiwan Hot Spring Town, built by the roadside, making parking convenient with a dedicated underground parking garage. There are two accommodation buildings. The price is a bit high, but the environment is quite good, though there's not much to explore in the surrounding area. The room was spacious, although the walls were a bit dirty. The hot springs are great, with about 10 pools built along the river, plus a sauna room. There's also an outdoor swimming pool. Overall, the facilities are complete. Breakfast was very rich with a wide variety of options. The jam tasted homemade, which was a pleasant surprise – they even provided a butter knife, which many larger hotels don't! It would be a pretty good deal if the price were under 500.
