We’ve just returned back from a 7 day stay here. Honestly if it was down to the staff alone, I’d hands down give this place a 5, there’s just some little ******* lead to me missing off that last star, but I’d still highly recommend it for a fab stay in Tunisia. It was my mums 60th birthday during our stay and the staff did so much to make it special for her, including a fruit basket in her room and cake for dinner. The food here is amazing, so much choice and never ever felt repetitive. Our waiter Sami served us for our entire stay and we fell a little in love with him, he had our table ready most days and couldn’t do enough to make our stay amazing. Drinks were alright, not the best but better than a hotel I’ve stayed in previously in Tunisia. The wine was just about palatable, but they did a few good cocktails and a decent gin and tonic. The rooms were lovely, just a few things like the air con in our room being terrible (I think it may have just needed the filter cleaning), the bathroom door didn’t shut properly, the fridge only works when room card is in power, and the lighting in the rooms isn’t too great in the evenings. My mums balcony door also didn’t even close properly, it looked like it was completely broken. Luckily we were high up and there wasn’t a way to access and we had use of a free safe in the room. None of this bothered us enough to complain though tbh, just *******. The bed, however, is the most comfortable thing ever with a range of pillows and I loved that they had coffee and tea making facilities and in the room too. The hotel is very clean, again there’s just a few pointers like some of the sun beds needing to be replaced, we often saw people collapsing down as they no longer clicked in properly. The indoor pool could do with a bit of TLC. Overall we had such a fantastic stay and a very relaxing week.
