We stayed here for 1 night in transit during our travels in Isan. We were pleased with the convenience of the place close to the proximity of the city of Mukdahan. The is a modern chain hotel which was fully booked and we were lucky to get the room. The bed was comfortable and the shower had acceptably hot water. But the air con was a bit kludgy in how to adjust the settings to create the most comfortable air flow. However, in the end we found the right temperature for the room to allow a comfortable nights sleep. For 750thb for a 1 night stay without breakfast, we found this place to 'fill the bill' with respect to our hotel needs for a single night stay in the area.

Also wir (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) fanden es angenehm wenn auch der Pool zu kalt für uns Weicheier war 😋. Personal freundlich, Frühstück hatten wir keins, Zimmer sauber und genügend groß. Parkplätze direkt vorm Haus. Wenn wieder mal in Mukdahan dann dieses Hotel ( wir haben uns auch „bessere“ angeschaut). Preis/Leistung gut.

Nous y avons dormi dans la nuit du 27 au 28 janvier 2020. C'est un grand hôtel qui a eu ses heures de gloire dans le passé à n'en point douter. Nous avons tout de même adoré notre court séjour. Nous avons payé un peu moins de 1000 baht pour notre chambre 9002 avec un balcon et une belle vue sur la montagne. Le wifi était bon et nous avons profité de la piscine propre. Nous étions seuls en plus. Le petit déjeuner inclus était superbe et le service également. Le jeune personnel a été très correct avec nous. La vue du restaurant au 16e étage en vaut le coup sans que nous y ayons mangé toutefois. Notre chambre était confortable. C'est un hôtel qui a grandement besoin de travaux de rénovation sinon, elle passera à l'histoire dans quelques décennies. Un luxe rustique qui a fait notre affaire dans notre cas. Nous y avons bien dormi en plus. Des photos suivront un moment donné. Avis rédigé le 31 janvier 2020 à Nakhon Phanom, Thaïlande.

Room #314 2 x Nights Booked via Agoda Be aware the bedroom walls are paper thin... You hear everything from the adjacent rooms ( bathroom etc ) The hotel is an excellent place to relax and enjoy a room with the view of the Mekong river - that is why you come here! Staff are good. The early check in was much appreciated. The included breakfast is limited - Fried Eggs, 1 x hot Noodle dish, rice soup, Bread Toast, Fruit, Tea and Coffee. The room is large enough and the view from floor #3 is magnificent across the Mekong to Laos. The hotel is perfectly positioned in Mukdahan, far enough away from the city noise and bustle but close enough with only a 5 minute car ride. I'm thinking we will make this our go to relax hotel....... We will book and visit again.

My short stay here was an absolute pleasure, from check-in to check-out and everything in-between ... I took a river view room that was big, quiet, comfortable and had an excellent bathroom and TV. The buffet breakfast is pretty special too and definitely worth considering as part of your reservation. However, the stars of the show remain the historic building itself, as well as the location, as you literally step into the middle of the Indochina Market (see my YouTube) and then cross to the Mekong River. Just magic!
