We booked to stay here for two nights 28th February and 1st March. The hotel is located ***** Tara Road on Juhu Beach. Our double executive room was on the first floor. If we strained our necks, looking out the window, we got glimpses of Juhu Beach as well as a derelict building site. The room did seem to be a bit compact. It did have a small fridge, safe, hairdryer, wall mounted television with English channels, if required. There was also a tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Two clothes hangers were provided in the wardrobe/cupboard. Two complimentary large bottles of water were put into our room each day. The bed was comfortable, the linen was rather tired and had a greyish hue rather than crisp white. The towels in the bathroom were a bit off white and hard on the skin. There were some toiletries provided. The room did have air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. However, water from the air-conditioning unit, when in use, did trickle down the wall of the bathroom creating a puddle on the floor. Our room was towards the end of a long narrow corridor, which was cluttered with furniture and a cleaning trolley. Also we used the stairs a couple of times, which were lined with spare, folded up beds on the steps. The lifts were very narrow, could accommodate two people and their luggage, just about. The restaurant, in the hotel, Bay View, has an outdoor seating and dining area, Sea Side Patio. On our first evening we had a few drinks and dinner while overlooking Juhu Beach. We ordered chicken momos and tandoori mushrooms which were rather tasty. The drinks were a bit pricey, hotel prices, a large bottle of beer was 500Rs (£5) plus taxes. This could not be classified as a modern hotel, in fact in places it was tired and dated, however it was comfortable and did suit our needs. It is unlikely that we will return to this area, if we did we would not stay here again.
