NH Collection München Bavaria

I stayed here for 3 nights and honestly, I’m very disappointed. Let’s start with the positives: the location is excellent. Right opposite the train and metro station, Lidl & Rewe supermarkets nearby, and just a straight 15‑minute walk into the old town. Super convenient. But unfortunately, that’s about it. Service was really flat — communication with reception was very standard, nothing warm or welcoming. The room itself was on the small side (clean, yes, but definitely not spacious). The real disappointment: water policy. The hotel only provides ONE small bottle of water per day per room. That’s for two people. On my first day, I asked reception for an extra bottle — they told me to go to the bar. Fine, I got one there. On the second day, since we skipped housekeeping, there was no water refill, so at night I went to the bar again to ask for another bottle. This time the staff told me I had to pay. I was completely shocked. A 4‑star hotel charging €200 per night… and they won’t even provide guests with a simple bottle of still water? I’ve stayed in so many hotels across Europe and this is the first time I’ve encountered something like this. Even more absurd, the hotel leaves free apples at reception and offers unlimited water at breakfast — but refuses to give guests a bottle of water to take to the room? Ridiculous. This policy really ruined what could have been a good stay. For a “collection” hotel brand, I expected much more in terms of service and hospitality. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable stay literally opposite the train station. Super convenient to get around. Service staff were excellent. Hospitality also good

Hotel had all the necessities and was just beside Munich main train station. Very easy to get to from the airport and for onwards travel.

Totally it was superb to stay here. Great in location with reasonable cost. WIFI is free and good quality as usual. Nearby central train station is good for looking for something to eat and travel . The only my concern here is too much with unknown people in front of hotel due to the location is nearby train station.

Friendly staff. - Helped with luggage when there was no porter on duty that day. Able to communicate well in English. Gave suggestions on where to eat or drink or buy groceries. Clean rooms. - Receive room in good order and allowed late check out. The only negative part is that there is no hotel parking. Parking was at another building that is 5 mins walk away with horrendous car park lots. Small and ramp up the car park is tight.
