Good experience. Comfort room. Kind people on reception. Free bath things. Near train station 10 minutes by bus, near center of the city. I had nice stay.

The hostel is in the middle of modernisation and is effectively a live building site so take that into account before booking on the near future. The un modernised parts are very old, and honestly, dirty and smelly. The corridors have a very strong smell which is quite off putting and the lifts are in constant use by the builders so don't expect one to arrive in a hurry. The reception staff are quite short tempered from the two interactions I had with them even when doing things which are "their job". My room was one of the updated ones and was nice enough. Beware though that the escape info in the rooms is incorrect as the balconies which are shown as a fire escape route don't exist anymore in the modernised part - not sure that meets the require fire safety standards. For 125eur (+9eur for breakfast) for 1 night I am not sure it was good value It's a hostel for people expecting to pay a low and get service based on the low price. For 125eur I wouldn't stay there again for sure.....
