151 I am staying and room was in dnd and I requested to give laundry back aftr I give call from my room as I was not in my room It was breach of privacy someone entered my room without my permission. What kind of guest service is this ??? Why the laundry not delivered in my presence

Overall we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our time at Scenic. It didn’t start off well as we had not been made aware that the hotel does not yet have an alcohol license. Luckily our driver informed us on the way and we were able to pick up some wine and beer en route. However we were really surprised to learn that we could not drink the wine we brought in the restaurant, so we had to have our dinners in the room if we wanted to enjoy them with any wine. This was a real surprise for us and a disappointment at first. However, the quality of the food and the great service made up for this and we had upgraded to a nice room so it was fine. The food was some of the best we’ve had in India - outstanding masalas. Also some of the best dosas for breakfast. And great service all around. Our room was a Honeymoon Suite with a pool which is a lovely, if slightly odd layout, room. It’s quite large but a lot of the space is not really usable space. So not quite what we were expecting but it was lovely nonetheless and we were happy with it. The highlight of the stay was an early morning hiking trip with Palani to the top of the hills with a 360 degree view. Honestly one of the best walks we’ve done anywhere in the world. The views through the tea gardens, rain forest and jungle were amazing. It’s a great hike, not difficult at all but you feel like you’re getting some exercise. We also did a tour of the tea factory and various viewpoints with Palani with was a great tour also. He’s a great guide and really looked after us - we enjoyed our time with him. Overall a great stay despite unclear expectations to start.
