We purchased the apartment off plan in 2004 and had many happy holidays here, in fact we liked the area so much we bought a house nearby and lived in Spain for 13 years, though we are now back in the Uk. We have undertaken an extensive refurbishment recently and the apartment now boasts a state of the art luxury kitchen with built in fridge freezer, oven and microwave, lots of cupboard space, induction hob with extractor over and granite worktops. The bathroom is state of the art with shower, led lighting and non slip tiles. The living room has new dining table and chairs, two comfy sofas with foot rests, 47” Hd tv incorporating firestick, Uk and Spanish tv channels, Dvd player and cd/radio. In the main bedroom is a new queen size double bed, matching headboard and bedside cabinets, all new from April, the second bedroom too has been completely refurbished with new beds, drawers and cabinets. The main attraction though is still the location, quiet but close to all amenities and with the best view of the Bay of Mazarron in Puerto.
Puerto de Mazarron is a little Spanish jewel, still barely known by holidaymakers from the Uk, though that has been changing over time as the word has spread! The Spanish people love it here but they only come in numbers in July and August, mainly from Madrid, so the rest of the year is busy but not over-busy. Known to ex-pats as “the Port”, Puerto has a fantastic range of beaches, enough cafe bars and restaurants so you can eat somewhere different every night if you wish and lots of activities locally including wind surfing, scuba diving (several schools), jet skis, tennis, rambling, golf etc.
Not too far away are the cities of Cartagena and Murcia with great shopping, water park, zoo, museums and lots of historical sites from the Roman ruins up to the recent past.

Stayed here June 2024 with a group of friends Thought the hotel was well situated in the city and a very good standard for a 3 star hotel and couldn't find fault with the place. Polite and helpful staff the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice (hot and cold) and good quality too The room was clean and spacious with a good sized bathroom and facilities including roomsafe, minibar, air-conditioning and TV Perfect base for exploring the city

We arrived early and asked at Reception if we could leave our luggage there until our room was ready - they allowed us to use our room straight away (over 3 hours early) The room was nice, comfortable bed & a very large bathroom. We enjoyed our breakfast - decent value for €10 with plenty of choices. I used the Fitness room which was a nice extra. The staff were extremely helpful at reception & the location of the hotel is excellent. You’re only about 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral. We were there for the Ricky Martin concert at the Plaza Los Torros, which was a 15 minute walk away. Will definitely stay at the Hesperia Murcia Centro again.

Beautiful place to stay with a very warm welcome, reception and breakfast staff were all superb . The hotel was spotless and rooms were spacious and fully equipped with fridge with complimentary water,juice and soft drinks, ironing board , iron, built in wardrobes, safe, flat screen TV, air con, hair dryer, hair straighteners, great spacious shower, tea/coffee facility even some work out equipment (push up bars/yoga mat , the list goes on . 2 for 1 drinks in the reception bar for guests and a private area for residents outside hotel entrance which is a lovely quite area just 50 metres from a lovely church and two really great restaurants. We were in Murcia the 2nd of July and after some business in the Mar Menor for 2 days we decided to return to the Cetina for a second night's stay before moving to our next destination because it was that much of a nice experience and also to the same restaurants. Would recommend this Hotel . Thanks to all Cetina staff 5*'s from me .

Estuve el pasado viernes día 13/10/2023, y reservé una suite. Indicar que el baño está casi tan grande como la habitación, con su bañera de hidromasaje que no use, pero que tenia. La cama era de las dimensiones indicadas, pero el olor de la habitación, era insufrible. Cuando llegue, las ventanas estaban abiertas de par en par, luego eran conscientes de ello. Baje a recepción y lo indique ( la chica exquisita) y me dijeron que enviarían al servicio, ya que yo salía hacer unas gestiones. Cuando llegue, el olor igual y las ventanas de par en par. Habitación 523. Una pena que lo que podía hacer estado bien, suponga un no volveré, por si acaso. El tema del olor en las habitaciones, posiblemente de la ventilación debe corregirse, dada la mala imagen que te llevas. El parking, para coches muy pequeños y fuera del hotel. Avise de que el vehículo era grande y el chico que me acompañó quería que lo dejara en una plaza que no entraba. Lo pude acomodar en otra, con muchísima dificultad. Y cuando fui a salir, pues no podía, dado que habías vehículos que me impedían salir. Un poco de cuidado con estos detalles también vendría bien

Hemos estado alojados el puente de la Inmaculada y ha sido un gran descubrimiento para nosotros. Es un hotel reformado recientemente. Tiene unas instalaciones muy buenas, las habitaciones muy cómodas, todo muy limpio y el personal muy amable y simpático. Tiene una muy buena relación calidad/precio. Repetiremos.

El Hotel está fenomenal, la limpieza estupenda, el desayuno y las cenas de buena calidad. Una pega pequeñita, si te toca la habitación mirando a la autovía, se oyen algo los coches. Una vez te duermes, ni te enteras. Lo que deberían de mejorar, es la atención en la cafetería. Es bastante pésima. Si no insistes, no te atienden. Aún así, es un sitio bastante recomendable.

Stand out point was very helpful front desk. The hotel has parking a two minute walk away. Very central property. The restaurant and tapas bar next door (also Rincon Pépé) is excellent

PPengguna TetamuTo say that this hotel was disappointing is an understatement. We arrived at around 10:45 pm on June 5th. When we arrived, we asked if there were any places open to eat. They informed us that their restaurant closed in 15 minutes, so they couldn’t help us. We asked if they could recommend someplace to which they responded that we could walk 20 minutes “that way” and maybe something would be open. No offer of calling a taxi, nothing. We were underwhelmed with the staff already, but when the elevator door opened, we were hit with a smell that I can only describe as dirty gym socks. Then we opened our room. The ever present odor remained, but we were greeted with a whole new set of issues. It was hot, and there was no way to regulate the air. There was a poorly patched hole on the wall inside the door with some brown substance smeared/dripped down the wall. The curtain was shredded as if a cat had been hanging from it. There were broken tiles in the bathroom. The toilet seat was broken (when you sat on it, it slid to the right). One tile was so loose next to the bathroom door that my husband almost lost his balance. Mirrors were dirty. There were lipstick prints on the windows. One of the most disturbing things was that when I picked up the hairdryer, it was sticky. So gross. So, the next morning, we got up to get breakfast only to find out there was no breakfast menu. Also, no lunch menu. So, we did have a tea and a croissant while we watched the kids at the daycare that functions outside of the hotel interact. That was the best part of the experience. During breakfast, we booked another hotel in town. We left for the day. We stopped by and checked into our new hotel which is lovely. We returned to Sercotel to retrieve our bags and check out. So, we paid for four nights in advance. We stayed one; that’s how bad this place is. Also, to add insult to insult, when we checked out, they tried to charge us $44. I told them that we paid in full in advance. The clerk suggested that maybe we had dinner!!!!! NOPE!!! In the end, they couldn’t explain the $44 charge and told us we didn’t have to pay it. Gee. Thanks for not charging us money that we didn’t owe you. Do yourself a favor. Never. Ever. Book. Here.

PPengguna TetamuFrom the second we set foot into the hotel we were greeted and treated as VIP's by the reception staff, the assistant manager and the manager. We arrived late morning and were instantly taken to the restaurant for drinks and snack. This was our third visit to the hotel and we could not recommend it highly enough. The room we were allocated was spacious and spotless and overlooked the infinity pool and the 9th signature hole of the golf course. Each time we bumped into a member of staff we were asked how our holiday was going. We of course replied that it could not be better. Our fight home was late evening so we asked for a late checkout which would normally be only up until 4pm however we were allowed to keep our room until we were ready to leave at just after 6pm with no charge!! We would highly recommend this fabulous hotel to friends and family and will certainly be back again in the future. Thanks to all at Double Tree by Hilton La Torre Golf & Spar Resort. You are a credit to the hotel industry.

PPengguna TetamuMy wife and I recently went for a long weekend (8 - 11 September) at the Hotel Londres, and stayed in one of its self-catering apartments. We live in Puerto de Mazarron, which is to the south of La Manga, so the journey didn't take us long. We took our chocolate labrador with us, and it was nice to see a hotel venue accepting dogs. This cost us an extra 5 Euros a night, along with a 100 Euro deposit, which was returned without problems at the end of our stay. The initial room allotted to us was unacceptable, but we were quickly given another room on the 9th floor, which had a very reasonable balcony with good views. Overall, the apartment was quite large and spacious, and - given the very reasonable price of the stay - thoroughly acceptable. There was also free entertainment available on two of the three evenings we were there, on the courtyard outside the hotel, which we quite enjoyed. The hotel was clean, tidy and functional. The gas bottle was empty on our arrival and should have been checked, and a toaster would have been useful. Still, overall, it was a good holiday experience.
