very friendly staff, excellent eggs for breakfast not from powder,room was clean and quiet . the best part was their coffee machine that made excellent coffee ,capuccino ,cafe mocha,cafe vanilla,espresso ,cafe latte ,chocolate drinks and it was available all day long -self serve.

Upon arrival arrival for check-in the person at the desk was very friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and spacious and felt very cosy. My group had 3 people and we all had plenty if space to move around and had we slept comfortably. There is a boat launching area for guests and the parking lit can accommodate cars with their boats in tow. The hotel is right next to the Muskoka Steamship Discovery Centre and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. The only issue is most of restaurants close around 9pm so you must eat early. Our group enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area for a visit or just to go on a short trip to relax. The steamship ship cruises are a must do and is the main attraction in this area. I will definitely return to this area for another visit.

Arrived here, purposely booked this hotel for the fitness room and FREE HOT breakfast included with booking. When we arrived the fitness centre is closed, they are short staffed so “can’t guarantee your room will be cleaned or stocked.”, went to have breakfast this morning, were informed they don’t do the hot breakfast at all anymore. They had juice, yogurt, muffins and cereal if that’s your thing. The rooms and hallway smell, and not clean. For over $200 a night, we’re extremely disappointed. We’re there now. Also, not their fault but the rooms are not very sound proof, trying to sleep with your neighbours sounding like they’re falling through the roof is not great. We’ve travelled many times and never have been interrupted so badly by other people’s noise.

I loved the big rock in the front entrance and all the plants around it. Very nice staff.Very clean room.Checkout was easy and fast. I will be back and bring family Gravenhurst is a lovely spottY felt very safe there.

It was a great pleasure to stay in Hidden Valley Resort during Canada Day long weekend in 2024. The hospitality was remarkable, service team was professional, friendly and helpful. Specially the General Manager Mr. Evan Ali made our stay very comfortable with his hospitality, professional guidance and local knowledge. We would love to visit this property again and again. First off. This place is what it is. It’s a budget hotel, so don’t be expecting any frills extra amenities. What you do get is a clean room, comfortable beds, hot water and great service. The young man who runs this place is very friendly and helpful. We were here on a motorcycle trip and it rained overnight. He left us towels on the chair outside the room so we could wipe them off in the morning. It’s little things like that that go a long way. This place is also walking distance to all of the downtown restaurants which is very convenient. Clean, comfortable, quiet, great service and convenient. Great little budget hotel.
