Xyst Notting Hill the Mall, Mussoorie

We visited Mussorie over a long weekend and chose this hotel owing to its location. Although it is near the mall road, still the location is a bit remote as its located almost atop a hill and reaching there is a bit of a struggle especially if you are driving a car. You might need to call somebody from the hotel to take your car to the hotel parking since not everybody is used to driving up such steep slopes and narrow roads. Once we reached the hotel we decided to not use our car for local travel since it was a headache to get the car down to the road and then again drive up to the hotel parking also there was an insane amount of traffic in Mussoorie on our dates. So we decided to walk to the Mall road. Although the hotel had a shuttle to and fro from the main road, it was available only till 6 PM and only to the road connecting to Mall Road. You will still need to walk a good 500 mts or so to reach the Mall road and if you plan to stay back beyond 6 PM or visit the Mall road after 6 PM, you will have to arrange for a taxi which could pick/drop you to the hotel and that could set you back anywhere between Rs. 500-1000/-. If you plan to only stay at the hotel and not roam around then the hotel has nothing special to offer. The view from the hotel is nothing to talk about. Also, only the rooms with a balcony have an okayish view. The hotel kitchen was only available till 10/10:30 and after that nothing so if you are in a group and plan to have late-night meals then you will have to make prior arrangements as the hotel will be of no help whatsoever. (Note that there is no swiggy/zomato in Mussoorie. You will have to check with local restaurants if they can deliver food to the hotel which most of them DON'T.) On the day of checkout, we requested a couple of water bottles but the staff politely refused saying that since we are checking out today we will have to pay for the water bottles. We have never come across such a thing in any of our stays. But apart from this, the staff was very polite and respectful. The BF was good (although essentially the same on all days) and service was also prompt. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained and overall we had an okay stay here.

Good hotel to stay and had a great experience with hotel facility and well mannered staff overall its a good hotel go for it if you can walk easily as its entry is quite high

They can fraud with me regarding for balcony room and that people are speaking bad. Not booked no one

I won't recommend staying at this hotel to any of my closed ones after the terrible experience i had with the mangement. The quilt was already burned with cig buds me and my friend who were staying do not smoke and same was verified by the hotel themselves as they couldn't find a single bud in the room yet they compelled us to make an extra payment for the damages which we didn't cause. The most disgusting part about the whole was that how could they blame us for it? the entire management was included from the room service person to the manager i am writing this review for the wholesome reason that this should not happen with any other guest, specially a couple to spoil their trip and experience.
